I'm a picky eater. My favorite fruit is watermelon and green apple is the second.

Bittermelon is well I don't really mind. I can it a slice or two when it's cooked thoroughly.

Oh well. We have different opinion.

Speaking of spicy food, mapo tofu is really delicious. It's really spicy.

Spicy foods are really tasty. It's my fav! :cry:

 

Hahaha, if I ever found jengkol here I definitely give it a try once  :lulz: . I prefer ayam penyet and smoked catfish in yellow gruel over pecel lele too  :drool:

Have you google it? Mother said it's tasty :shrug: But she eats petai too and durian that I don't like, so.. :sweatdrop: Ask your Indonesian colleagues to make you semur jengkol then :lol:

Ulam is a javanese in level krama. In english, it's fish :lol:


Even a rock has something it can be used for. There's a way for them to shine that even a jewel can't compare to - Sakamochi Tatsuma :lulz:

Of course you can make your own jackfruit dish. Just boil the jackfruit along with sugar.  :smug:

Seriously, what language does "ulam" originates?

 

For Filipinos, rice is a staple food together with "ulam" so we can't survive without rice. Jackfruit is a side dish for us.

Filipinos? No wonder sis, just need to read back the SEAsia history and we can see why one word can exist in three different places but with time was develop/mutated/evolved (?) and used differently  :yes: but still for something similar...Food  :wow:

 

To find its origins, that was kind of hard though  :sweatdrop:

Mapo Tofu is a chinese cuisine with lots of chili.
The only spicy food that I want to eat is mapo tofu. I don't really dislike spicy foods but I don't like it either. More on neutral opinion.

Hahaha. Mas gusto ko yung amplaya na may itlog. XD un lang ang kaya kong kainin na may amplaya. Pinipili ko talaga kinakain ko. Lalo na ung may milk na ingredient, lactose intolerant kase ako kaya soymilk ang iniinom.
