I listened to that audiobook, too, but if I remember correctly, Menma is not the same as Naruto. Ino refers to Menma as entle and calm, so he resembles Minato more than Kushina. I'm pretty sure SakuraxMenma are cannon in RtN, but they cannot replace the Naruto and Sakura I know in the manga world b/c too me they are not the same individuals.

EDIT: But I still feel like Kishi might have thought about us and our feelings through that story. Tried to take care of us. That, if he actually knew the ending by then.

And then he smash that 20 tons of weight in our faces, with destroying Sakura's character at 699, making Naruto as a minor character, giving Sasuke all the stage light for 90% of chapter, and then killing any ties between manga and last chapter by making as many characters been as much OOC as they can. Yeah.

That's what I think personally, he did pranks and was loud for attention. If Minato and Kushina stayed alive I think he would have been be more calm.

*sigh* Maybe you are right, maybe not. I just not have the will power anymore to believe in him. He hurt and scarred us all with these two horrendous chapter and gave us 0% interaction between Naruto and Sakura. If that wasn't cruel I don't know what else you're supposed to describe it as.

We'll never know what is going through his head, and I doubt that he will ever give us anything more than those vague interviews.

I am trying to grasp kishi excuse for romance. It's an action series.

The biggest issue for me is kushina's last words to naruto. These words were important, kishi put them in there.

Don't go for the weird one=hinita
Go for someone like me=sakura

That is all he had to do to justify NS. That isn't hard to do.

If NS isn't going to happen then everything is a lie. Why put that in there? Kushina is telling naruto no to hinita and yes to sakura.

All kishi had to do is follow the ova.

I was hoping the poke made sakura remember that bench scene and realized that wasn't sasuke.

The point of the movie was Naruto and Sakura understanding each other  and getting even more closer to the point of them dating and meeting their parents . The difference in RTN was that Naruto and Sakura switch roles their life  they were in each other shoes  and it was based on their canon selves no inventing of scenes or sh*tty story like in here , besides that RTN   hold a powerful message unlike this kitten of an ending . This is why I can't take this as Kishimoto "pleasing" us bc he was gonna do this kitten ending ,   when  the story was heading toward NS  and the movie served to show how they have developed grown  to illustrate their canon relationship  it was just done in here in a short period of time bc its a movie . So yeah I call BS bc it was clear as day that NS was planed  and he sold out in the end that's an insult to us the readers and to everything he wrote so far .

Nope I was trying to add to your comment and clarify what the whole point of  RTN was . He didn't make this. This is Cyberconnect2's work, from Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution. They've always hinted at NaruSaku though, so I guess they also knew where Kishi was headed too

not true, if you want to be technical they only did the gameplay and story of the game, the anime scenes like this on the other hand are always done by studio pierriot, and mecha naruto was made by kishi, therefore I'm pretty  sure kishi had to have had some say in the game other than designing a character xD

Strange if RtN been liked not only by NS, but also by Naruto fans in general, maybe The Last is made for people who read manga "Sasuke"? It's where in last chapters Sasuke's deeds are forgiven and Hinata is main heroine

Apparently all the time we have been reading a different manga  where development means kitten  and  the antagonist and side character  matters more then the MC and the Heroine  welcome to Sasuke and Hinata Shippuden  .
