Is it just a Sakura focus filler, just using a title similar to the movie so that viewers can make the connection, or the title is suppose to be taken literal, possible Naruto's road to win her heart or Sakura's own road to find her own ninja way?

I think it will be an episode that reestablish Naruto and Sakura's ''relationship'', to remind viewers how their dynamic works so that they could remember that right before the film comes out. It's probably a flashback episode, and may take part in Part 1. Or maybe it's just recap episode, showing major events through Sakura's perspective.

Well it will be pretty lame if they use it as an excuse to keep Sakura still pinning over Sasuke since that episode would serves as proof that she is starting to see Sasuke in a negative way. If they use that episode to show that after everything she values Naruto's safety a lot more and genuinely cares about him then it will be great since she will be Naruto's main support to help him out in the genjutsu world and viceversa. Using it only to support SS will be sad, in the end it means that even after he try to kill her and she confessed her feelings to a Naruto who really loves her, she still prefers Sasuke and doesn't care about how she hurted Naruto, it will almost be like looking at Hinata version 2 but a little worse since she played with Naruto's hemotions.

Honestly I cannot see that happening and worse now because the movie will focus on the two and what matters more.

Manga canon it will make her a horrible person something she is not. No matter what others think, from the moment Sakura confessed her love to Naruto I cannot see it going any other way that isn't NS, if Naruto was selfish, horrible and hurt her feelings yes, but not this Naruto.

That info he is posting can be true, what could happen is that the Anime Team could choose to skip the Ino Shika Cho for a moment to focus on chapter 539/540 before the movie, then skip it when it's time for his original airing date. It kind of make sense and it will almost be an example of what someone else mention before, why the Anime team would make an episode with NS hints if they are planning to air the love letter episode later, but if they choose to cover that episode now, showing that Sakura feels ashamed, disappointed and sad about herself loving Sasuke, then later they can focus on Naruto and Sakura's bond in the movie without needing to show that she will be thinking about Sasuke later, instead they can focus on her new resolve what is to fight along side/support Naruto.

It kind of makes sense if we think about it, Sasuke and Hinata will not be a love interest in the movie, they will be a big distraction.
If the movie really mades them more closer it doesn't makes sense to show any SS hint in the future.

It's almost like chapter 235 where Naruto stated after the two girls confession that he loves Sakura and that you cannot force someone to love you if they don't feel that way about you, how will the fans feel if later they show Naruto saying that he loves Hinata out of the blue.

I'm not saying this will happen is just a speculation that made sense, if road to Sakura is about Sakura, then she saying that she loves Sasuke after she think over her confession and the fact that he try to kill her is a stretch, if they show her saying that she will work her way to alway be there for Naruto but later we have the love letter nin that will not make sense either, the question is, why make an episode dedicated to Sakura at this point. Why make a special episode for her before the movie.

My point is common sense tells you NS will be the third focus point in this movie after NaruMinaKushi and Tobi's plan.

If the movie will focus on Naruto and Sakura's resolve to accept that Naruto is more important than Sasuke to her, then remove the love letter nin episodes out of the way.


Doesn't it feels odd that Kishi says that her confession was truth, NaruSaku has Plot no jutsu for this movie since they are the only original that needs to escape together from the fake world, Kishi his planing to make and interview about Sakura and we get the funny Summary from a Wiki.

In fact, if you go to the Konoha TV folder on Naruto fan you will see the correct episode listings and the Ino-Shika-Cho will be a two parter special, 273-4 I believe. At work on break, don't have time to go check, but if someone kindly would, it will clear things up. There's been no official synopsis released yet of "Road to Sakura"- at least as of this morning.
