Both Naruto and Sakura have been ret-conned into characters they NEVER were to begin with. And as it turned out, they both were just pawns in making sure that Hinata and Sasuke got a happy ending. Neither Naruto nor Sakura nor any of the readers did.

 

Disagreeing on how the story gets there is pointless. It always ends up at the same place - no happy ending for anyone.

We all know that, and I think its because she got the chance to really know Sasuke, unlike the other fangirls, she also got to see sides of him that not a lot of the others girls got to see, and despite all that, loved him...I dont get why cause he treated her like crap honestly, SS would've been better off as a BROTP thing

 

I wouldn't even want them as bros/sis cuz Sasuke and Sakura barely talk. xD  I honestly hate Sasuke's relationship with both Sakura & Naruto.  After he left Konoha at the end of Part 1 it just became really bad IMO.  He fits better as more their arch rivals/ex-friend lol.

I think my problem with this debate is that we have to take The Last and 700+1 seriously. So much of everything after 693 totally changes he characters and their motivations and drastically alters the meaning of powerful moments prior to that. I think that's te mark of bad story telling.

If kishi is good writer and he still want nh ss.
He should be killed naruto's feeling or neutralize it.
He should make naruto confess to sakura and get reject. But both of them still in good term.

Question: How many of you guys are going to read the entire spin off? I know some of you said that you were only going to read the first chapter before quitting. But given the cliffhanger, are you sticking around?

I didn't even need to read anything since the important parts of a chapter would be talked about here

Yes, brilliantly put. It drastically alters the meaning of powerful moments that came before. Exactly right. Arguing it is like comparing apples to oranges now. The characters and story are completely different.

Realy? i dont think bolt now naruto past. I dont even think he knows that his father is kyubi jinchuriki. If he knows his father past, do you think he will act like this? spoiled brat, keep painting hokage stone faces to get his atention?. If he knows naruto suffer as kyubi jinchuriki he should have understand and never do this kind of behavior.
 
Beside kakashi himself said "Everything RELATED to kyubi is top secret". So i bet bolt dont know.

lets say you damaged your eyes right?...is it possible to pass that down to your children? through genes? like a bad eye gene that they would need glasses? I just came up with something

I'm game. We all know this series has jumped the Shark and can't be taken seriously anymore. Likelyhood is SS gets a happy ending but I'll take a chance on this series bc I'm not paying for it and most importantly to watch SS burn. Hopefully NH is next.

 

 

I brought the popcorn, help yourself. Hopefully the show doesn't suck. Its been great so far

Yeah I do like Sasuke as a character, I just think he's more fun as an enemy. XD It's a shame he was never really able to be friends with Naruto & Sakura again.
As for your question, I don't know! XD I know the genes you are born with can be passed down but I don't know if you can pass down developed afflictions or if your genes change as you live lol. What is it that you came up with?

If it's genetic, i think it can be passed down. I mean if it's inherent in your genes, there are chances of it being passed to your kids, but if it develops later due to outside influence, it can't be called genetic

I agree with you, the difference between Sakura & Naruto was that in the end, Naruto's "love" for Sakura and all the bashing she received because of it was completely unjustified since Naruto didn't truly love her anyway. 

Sakura gets kittened over so bad, the fandom's hatred of her wasn't even justified and her so-called canon husband doesn't even love her.. The fans & kishimoto will never get tired of bashing her into the ground.

 

Look guys and gals, I know we are talking about what's "offical" here with regards to Naruto's love, and Sakura love and all that bs that Kishimoto made up.

 

But don't forget this first and foremost above ALL ELSE all of those "offical" statements about feelings are all RETCONS that Kishimoto set forth in order to make this kitten ending somewhat believable.

 

They are about as real to the original manga as the idea that Naruto knew the shadow clone technique as a 6 year old.
