Well I have classes on Saturday now. I hate the transferring of professors. They tend to mix up the schedules.

First of all sorry to hear that about yours cousin its a sad thing what she's going through and what she's doing to herself . Imo your cousin needs a strong reality check and your mom and aunt seems to did everything that's in their power for that but to no avail , I think in this situation the best thing for your cousin is to seek some professional counselling or to at least somehow made her to it bc this path she's heading to is not gonna end up good for her  apart from that I don't think there's much you can do to help her if she herself doesn't want to and refuse to accept the reality of her situation .

Tbh, I don't really know what to say. I can't accept what your cousin think too. I mean, why make life harder by doing that? Why torturing ourself?

 

That's actually a very sad story, your cousin got up in situation from which there is no easy way out. She need some professional help to get whole view of situation from other point of view, all of this doesn't sound good in any way for her.  It's sad that things like this happends in the world.

Well if its like that then there's nothing you can do except hope she realizes her wrongdoings on her own , she can be angry all she wants but its for her own good  , you can keep trying as long as you can to make her come to her senses and accept  her situation  not giving up on her yet bc she's family after all but if she still doesn't want to well its like you said its all on her  . Long story

My cousin is a she. She is now 34 years old. She has 2 lil girls.
 
She was single when I was in sixth grade. She took her job as a cashier at my parents' shop. Since she knew that her younger sister is having a baby, she was desperately finding handsome guys. Yeah, she likes handsome guys ever since she was young. The worse is, she's very envious of others.
 
One day, a guy went to the shop to buy something. Of course my cousin saw him. She said that he looks like Ashton Kutcher. I had no idea who Ashton Kutcher is tbh. Ever since that day, she fell in love with that guy and began their relationship. Almost every night, she cried because she said that a guy is focusing more on his dogs (because that's his only job so that he could earn money), his friends, and more importantly, HIS WOMAN than my cousin. My mother and my aunt (my cousin's mother) disapprove of their relationship because he's not trusted so they said that she should better break up with that guy. But my cousin ignored them and pursued her pride. My cousin is getting angry whenever my mother and my aunt said something about their relationship. As a result, she resigned and she said that she'll go home. Without the knowledge of my mother and my aunt, she went to the guy's house every day, every night. Years later, she got pregnant. My mother and my aunt raged when they found out about her actions before she got pregnant. Then, that guy and she got married but this is not the end.
 
She gave birth to her children but her "husband" didn't even visit her and his children on the hospital once. Her lil girls grew up. Still, their dad DGAF. Thanks to my mother's friend, we all know the truth behind that guy. It turns out that he has a child to another woman. Yes, it's HIS WOMAN. Even before my cousin let herself involved with that guy, HIS WOMAN is the first one to produce his child. He's more supportive of HIS WOMAN and his child than my cousin's. My mother and my aunt tried to help my cousin from this trouble. Yet, she still ignored their advice and pursued her pride. My cousin still loves him but he doesn't love her back because he loves HIS WOMAN. Based on my mother's story, he's planning to have a divorce with my cousin and get married to HIS WOMAN in another country. I think the divorce thing is impossible since my cousin wants him. That guy's relatives hate my cousin because of her actions. Even though she's my cousin, I don't support her.
 
No matter what my mother and my aunt do, my cousin wants to do what she wants. She loves him. He loves HIS WOMAN. She doesn't want to have a divorce with him. She doesn't accept the truth. What's the best solution for this problem?

I don't really know if my opinion even matters 'cuz its an adult issue and I am still too young to look into it but I'd throw in my two cents.

I feel sorry for your sister....I know how it feels to be at the short end of the stick and unlike many, a few people have difficulty accepting reality and moving on. Your cousin might think that there cannot be a better guy than him for her. That and combined with her strong preference for handsome men makes it all the more worse. I know how difficult it is to accept it but she has to....for her own good. She wants to avoid the fall which would hit her when she comes to know that he isn't the right guy for her and that is why she is making desperate attempts to avoid that fall. Deep down she knows....she needs someone to bring that 'deep down' into her conscious. Now...apparently...your mother and aunt won't even scratch the surface...and neither would you. The punch of reality should come from someone' she trusts and believes in explicitly....how about...requesting the guy himself? As it is...he wants a divorce and your cousin won't listen to anyone but him. If he can help her sort her feelings....then there is a chance that she might come out of it. She needs a touch of reality....she is clinging on too tight...to avoid the fall. I guess....she maybe had lots of crushes earlier and there have been many guys that she thought were 'perfect' for her, right?

Agreed her condition is 'cuz of her own selfishness but....you guys being a family should stick together, right? I mean that's what family means...to me...we all know each other's flaws...but yet we ignore them and still stick around them...to insure that nothing goes wrong with them. No one is perfect...and family means accepting our flaws and still loving each other...atleast according to me. I don't know how much of help would this be....since It's really a tight situation...and complex at that...but I genuinely hope that this'd atleast make some difference. Regards.

If only I could....it could've made things lot more clearer and helpful maybe.
