Hmm...don't know what to think about any of that, really. I mean, there are so many rumours and so much BS, that it's difficult to determine what (if any) is truth. The safest thing sounds like it would be to keep on trucking as usual, and wait until a definite source is revealed. Then I can rage lol

I have this feeling that the three will one day meet each other and maybe fight together, but I also think garp will die trying to protect luffy 

 

Of course I'm not gonna deny it, I just say any group out for change can be corrupted by power. Look at BioShock Infinite with the resistance in that for example. And that I still think Dragon may be hiding some things about his motives for his actions, considering he isn't exactly like his son in the least, and that deep down, he seems... shady. X-D Nothing is impossible after all.

 

 

  Madara, Sasuke, and Danzo would have been as bad if they had been at the top, but that's it. OP has real villains, which Naruto lacked (except Obito, he was a real villain )

 

Madara is more of a real villain given his actions to lead Obito to be his apprentice, his Darth Vader to his Emperor Palpatine. And I still think he took Izuna's eyes as Izuna was dying from his wounds by Tobirama's hands just to power himself up and to take revenge on the Senju, since he openly admitted he hates the Senju and weakness (mostly due to being BORN to hate).

I just watched the newest episode of FT and the funny thing is that it attempted to do a sort of love story revolving around, you guessed it, a scarf and I think it did it better job than The Last.

 

Spoiler I guess even though it's filler but whatever.

So the episode starts with Juvia being all happy becuase this is the 413th anniversary from when her and Gray first met, with the previous day being the 412th anniversary and the next day being the 414th anniversary. Erza then urges her to give Gray a gift in order to celebrate their anniversary, because she admires how Juvia treats every day as being something special.

 

Unfortuneately Juvia doesn't have any ideas as to what kind of present Gray would like, so she tries to ask around to get some ideas. Mira Jane then tells her that if she really wants to show Gray how sincere her feelings are, she should make something herself. At first she tries to bake a cake, but that ends up going horribly wrong. Then Carla suggest that she should try to make some clothe. She then decides to knit a gray scarf. She then tries to find Gray, but he's nowhere to be found in the guild.

 

She then goes looking for him in the town, where she meets Lyon. He asks her what she's doing and she then tells him that it's her and Gray's anniversary and so she wants to give him a present. She then leaves, but Lyon seems to ponder her use of the word "anniversary".

 

She eventually finds Gray and attempts to give him the scarf but he refuses. She then attempts to persuade him some more, but he is adament in not wanting to accept the scarf, even going so far as go remark that since he's an ice wizard the cold doesn't really bother him. Juvia then says that he doesn't need to wear it but that he should at least accept it in order to honour the occasion. When Gray asks what occasion she is referring to, she then reveals that this is the 413th anniversary of their first meeting. Gray then says that he's never heard of such a weird anniversary, but Juvia just says that the date doesn't really matter. If it's a happy day then it's worth celebrating. Gray then rejects her again with a "Sorry. Maybe next time." Juvia is both puzzled and saddened by Gray's coldness. Lyon then shows up and it seems as if he has something important to tell her.

 

We can cut to Juvia sitting alone on some stairs looking completely devastated. Erza then walks by and asks her what's happened. Juvia then tells Erza what Lyon just told her: That today is the anniversary of the death of Gray's teacher, Ur and therefore it's best to just leave him alone. Juvia is very bothered by this, but Erza assures her that Gray probably isn't bothered by what she did. After all, each day means something special to every person. Erza also reiterates that she truly admires how Juvia values each and every day. Juvia then breaks down and cries while hugging Erza who assures her that everything is going to be okay. 

 

It then shows Gray and Juvia both walking aimlessly around (it's also snowing). Juvia is heading back to her dorm, obviously still affected by what happened but otherwise optimistic. Gray on the other hand seems pensive. He then suddenly remembers back to when he and Lyon were still training under Ur and that she also gave them a scarf in order to keep them warm. He then regrets his behaviour and goes back to where Juvia offered him she scarf. He digs through the snow and eventually finds it. In the next shot we see him wearing it. Erza walks by him, notices him wearing it and smiles.

 

The next day Juvia apologizes for her behaviour but Gray tries to assure her that it's okay because he wasn't really himself. He is then cut off when Juvia immediately tries to give him yet another present, which is a body pillow of herself. Gray of course rejects it but Juvia insists and states that she will keep trying. She then smiles and the episode ends.

 

 

It's just a filler, but I still find it funny how Fairy Tail managed to do a better at a "love story" involving a scarf in 24 minutes than The Last did in 110 minutes.

 

Yes Juvia is still a fangirl, but anyone who follow FT will know that she is not just standing in the background. Her and Gray actually has development together. They've fought together multiple times and everything about her character doesn't revolve solely around Gray.

Tbh, I think "destroying fishman island" is sort of a hyperbole. I think at some point, the gov might go after the princess, forcing the fishman to relocate. Luffy will "destroy" the island to cover for them. They've always wanted to have an island above the sea anyway, so I think that would be luffys motivation. Protecting the princess and helping them move lol
It's possible they are somewhere. I think it's just a part of Oda's theme, in the sense that the world is a blob of gray, and that it's really hard to differentiate between good and evil.

I think that if there's a split in the world government, it comes between those tht believe in Akainu's justice and those that believe in Aokiji's justice (ie Absolute vs Moral justice). At the conclusion of the war, I believe that Aokiji would take over as the Fleet Admiral with Smoker as his admiral.

the aura of his shadowy figure didn't give me the impression he was doing it out of the kindness of his heart, which i really hope isn't the case because that would be pretty lame to me. i hope something tragic happens that would trigger luffy to go ape kitten. lol

 

Agreed. At first, I was a bit upset that the plot line ended up false or dropped. But once the battle ended, she still feel uneasy and they pretty much said that her fortune telling can come true at anytime. Good to know. The question is when. Oda can pull a Kishi.

i was relieved to know it's still going to happen. but who knows when it's going to take place. probably years from now :(

Yeah, it's episode 45 of the season 2 or episode 220 if you count season 1 and season 2 as one series. Again, it's not perfect. Gray doesn't have to discard anything in order to accept Juvia's scarf and thereby her feelings, instead he makes a connection between Ur's scarf and Juvia's scarf. It's also not like Gray just immediately accepts Juvia's feelings just because. She actually has to learn something very painful about Gray and come to understand him. Besides this was just a filler, so it's not really meant to answer andyhing or make anything canon. It's just a fun little side story, that actually ended up developing Gray and Juvia's relationship.

I wouldn't mind him going no ape kitten, but they'd have to do something serious for it to happen. I just can't see it like that, they won't betray him after he saved their island. Maybe the aura was dramatic effect?

I find the two chapters rife with nH/SS pandering to be the more probable secret than some nondescript closeup of a rumoured eye. Kishi and Pierrot wouldn't dare retract on the path they have chosen because it would practically be an admission of their judgement having been erroneous.
