Most likely this 'secret' is some sort of announcement concerning the mini series or another expansion on the franchise. Maybe a stand alone chapter or something.

 

Doubtful. Have you seen the preview? This untold "secret" is clearly Minato, and most likely Kushina as well, appearing with Naruto and the bast***'s mother.

Just remember, every retcon, whether it's fake memories or forced MK parallels, is more proof NS was right.

Anyway, whatever it is, I can't seem to care all that much. We already acknowledge that anything can happen since the movie is canon with shadow clone happening before the story began, so why should I care for anything. It's just a sad state of a series. Even DBZ can get away with it more easily than Naruto. They didn't even try to get away with it. With DBZ, they just add a new story, not add a new element to the story in a out of place way. Therefore, I really can't care. I didn't do the other LAP because I lost my passion for this series. I remember coming out quickly, but now I don't care.

Oh well, here's to them pulling a Capcom on their Fanbase.

So Minato/Kushina is a mislead when it comes to Naruto/Sakura, but when it's done for Naruto/Hinata is actually a parallel.

Yeah...I guess they just do whatever the hell they want now to get people to buy their product. It's shameless. Might as well bring back Jiraiya too so he can admit it was a mistake not giving up on Tsunade.

That's exactly what they're showing. They made a move that so far isn't profitable for them and now all they're doing is damage control to assure people that this garbage was planned all along and the foreshadowing was there as well.

But in reality all they're doing is showing that the real end was Naruto and Sakura.

No it's not yet confirmed but from that small picture it looks like those two are Minato and Kushina.

But really, if it IS some MK/NH parallel, we all know how it will play out. NH fans will jump for joy, disregarding Minato's comments about Sakura reminding him of Kushina, and ignore Kishi's comments that it was a red herring. They will distort reality as they need to in order to justify the crap pairing.

My guess? That image is probably going to look like a mixture between the Naruto generation cover with Kakashi/Hiruzen/Minato/Jiraiya and the "what if" family cover in the kitchen with Naruto jumping out of the window.
