There's nothing developing about this it completely spits on everything NS was building towards (that is if Kakashi really did say "all she wants is to be yours")

 

The only reason I can think of why Kishi would do this is if he plans on making NS canon during the upcoming OVA moment where she goes to Naruto's side instead of Sasuke's.....but even then it wouldn't make sense for her to go to Sasuke's side if she did love him more because he plans on conquering the world....so yeah this plan of his will just end up screwing over all fanbases and make nobody happy.

The shipping wars are actually mostly a Western thing. You know, by the fans who don't pay him any money for his work. I think he's just a weak writer. This is all typical Shonen style stuff. Never give up on someone, friendship is an actual power, anyone can be saved, blahblah.

Again that's fine by me.....make it about friendship. Her core reason for saving him because of wanting to be with him is what is making people laugh at her character and cringe in confusion of her ending up with Naruto instead.

As Rikudou informed us before....MS got it this time. Good that he informed us before. We atleast got time to brace ourselves......and prepare ourselves. I am indifferent to it now because I want to watch why Kishi did this. He SHOULD have a strong reason for the kitten he did lately.

Though I am not sure about Kakashi saying "All she wants is to be yours" part. Maybe @Hiraishin can clear that up.

@Pepsi Sasuke saying that makes sense. I made a post long long ago saying why Sakura's crush prevailed until this long because of defection of Sasuke from Konoha. He leaving all of a sudden and leaving her feelings, although superficial, hanging, left an impact on her and since it was a deep impact, 'I love Sasuke' got fixated into her mind. Not to forget unreciprocated childhood crushes are hard to forget and it is all the more difficult for sensitive people. Ask me about this. So I think I do understand Sakura a bit in here.

It is much like a toy we want from the bottom of our heart. You go to a toy shop. You like a toy. You want it all costs but your mom denies it and then you cry and break your head and do what not to get it. Then too you don't get it. You grow up and after some time, the same toy comes to you and you get an opportunity to be with it and this is when you realise you didn't even need it in the first place because you don't enjoy playing with as much as you thought you'd and that's when you realise, all that breaking and all was a waste and all for nothing. That's what happened to Sakura. Seeing her object of affection vanish right before her very own eyes left an impact on her and since she never did get to play with that 'toy', she is still breaking her head over it and that is why I say Sasuke getting redeemed is a must for NS which means that he will APPRECIATE Sakura and then she'd come to know what really her feelings for Sasuke and Naruto are.....Unless Kishi gives her toy back to her, she won't realise she didn't need it and she'd break her head over him, all for nothing. She can get back her toy only when Sasuke is redeemed....and then she will come to a realisation much like we come to, towards that toy....I hope I explained it well. If not, I can try to explain it in a more simpler sense

I think in here it was given to us the reason for why Sakura loved Sasuke in the first place  which is  she wanted to save him  but it was also shown that Sakura finally realized  that she isn't able to do it  she's not the one that can do it and has an affect on him .  In short this is a set up for Sakura getting over him  and that her love is the same as Naruto's for Sasuke's bc he wants to save him to  which means her reason doesn't fall under  romantic   I'll have the final answer when we get the translation for this RAW .

Look at it this way, shipping is not what makes Naruto popular in Japan. Like, at all. It's a fighting Shonen manga. It's a popular genre. I know people are upset about NS being handled poorly, but that's just it. The romantic subplot isn't his first priority. Couple that with his own admittedly lack of knowledge about writing romance and you get this.

He doesn't even need a plan. We literally were perfectly happy a couple of days ago until this happened. This is the one thing he didn't have to do and he f**cked up, he deserves every bit of criticism is about to get for it. Every time people criticized him in the past I would look at it from his perspective and try to defend him with what he was trying to portray....here, there's no two ways about it he f**cked up.

 

Its like trying to defend a child who other parents are accusing of misbehaving and you defend him because he tells you with teary eyes that he wasn't misbehaving then you catch him skinning a squirrel.

 

You're angry with the child and you know he deserves to be punished from those ou were defending him against and you also feel ashamed for siding with him.

 

Its funny he treats SS fans like he does SS and he treats NS fans like he does with Sakura.

You know what? I actually laugh now when someone tells me that Sakura's emotions were platonic and the same as what Naruto has for Sasuke. While they are really like that, the way the author goes about portraying...is...well......you know. Naruto might confess his love for Sasuke as well.

Its also kind of funny how a long time ago he said that he doesn't understand why he has more female fans than male fans (because its a story for boys) its hard to believe he wouldn't really understand considering this is one shonen with some serious yaoi undertones (even more than GetBackers and that actually indulged in that with some of the anime posters....)

Sakura's words aren't what matter its what Kakashi says. whether MS was right "All she wants is to be yours" or if MP is right "Didn't she just say she wanted you be her side (as Team 7)"

Is this somehow an allusion to this tale (after all Sasuke was a hawk right)? If so I'm sorry but Sasuke reach a whole new level. He need to teach the class A-hole 101.

It is like James told me once. Either he is way too smart for a writer manipulating us by the stuff he writes or...well he's totally lost his mind XD.

The more I thing about it, the more I think that it bends towards the former and NOT the latter. I am not even joking. A glaring evidence of this is Sakura's confession to Naruto in LOI. She said the EXACT same things which we are saying right now.

'All you do is Sasuke kun Sasuke kun Sasuke kun. You don't care what happens to you and you forget other stuff when you think about him' Isn't this what some people who were criticizing Naruto, said about him?

Sakura's love....don't even get me started on this. Sasuke's words seemed like they directly came from Kishi. It was as if he knows that he is writing Sakura that way. It was not to show her dedication or anything....it was just...like that. Sasuke's words really felt like Kishi was speaking to us readers on Sakura's feelings for him.

Sai' interpretation....again it was as if Kishi was speaking through him. And like the ones I mentioned, there are many other instances as well wherein it feels like Kishi is talking through the characters and he purposely portrays the characters like that and he wants us to give the reactions we give albeit....some instances. There are some instances where he has screwed up as well.

I dunno if I have again explained my stance well in here....but if its the way I am saying......that sly bastard knows full well what he is writing and how he is writing the characters. He probably has a plan chalked down as well. Now, whether it'd be convincing or not....remains to be seen.
