My big problem with Sasuke not be redeemed and Kakashi die is because of it:

naruto-7733.jpg

I always saw this moment as an foreshadow, Naruto will succeed where Jiraiya failed, then Sasuke not be redeemed or Kakashi dying wouldn't be the same as failing in the same way that Jiraiya failed?

Naruto could not save Neji and could not protect his teacher "Jiraiya" does it means that he cant be hokage?

Actually Itachi already told Naruto the truth, it's not if you cant save your friend or cant protect your teacher, you must be acknowledged by everyone to be hokage.

It doesnt mean failure or whatever it's about acknowledgement, Naruto was acknowledged by Jiraiya before he died as someome who can fulfill his dream of peace, and also Minato who acknowledged Naruto, Neji which before he died acknowledged Naruto.

I feel like a whole inconsistence if Naruto cant be hokage because he could not save Sasuke and Kakashi when he wanted to be one despite Jiraiya and Neji's death.

I'm still trying to figure out how Sakura's feelings are going to be handled from now on. Her fake smile in the last chapter could be the trigger for many different scenarios for her development. The question is how will Kishi go from there.

Thanks to the bluntness of 631 it's more obvious than ever that Kishi is going the NS route, but how he will resolve the Sakura love plot still feels like a big mystery to me.

Sakura's current intentions with Sasuke might be the biggest enigma at the moment.

Same here  :ermm:

How is Kishi going to handle Sakura's resolution to Sasuke? I have no idea.

I don't mind seeing a similar scene to that of Konan vs. Tobi.

Where Sakura will fight Sasuke because he is getting in the way of Naruto and his dreams.

And Sakura realizes that protecting Naruto's dreams are important that she will protect it with her life.

(I know it's not going to happen. I'm just talking about what I want to happen.)

Of course Sakura will lose cause we need Sasuke to fight Naruto.

-Konan vs. Tobi scene-

Konan: "He is light. That's why everybody can hold the flower of hope. He is the bridge to peace. I am going to be the pillar that supports the bridge."

"You are darkness. In a world where there is no light flowers will wither!"

-Fight-

Can you elaborate what you meant by her intention with Sasuke, like others I don't believe in a Sakura vs Sasuke fight on lest she is fighting with Naruto against him or Sasuke is about to kill Naruto something that will be terrible for Naruto's character.

Without including Naruto refusing to give him the final blow and Sasuke using it as his advantage since I believe something like that should be the completely turning point in Sasuke's character.

So if you don't mind can you please enlighten me.

Haha, oh really? What a coincidence

I love this picture... I can just see a similar scenario happen in the future, where Naruto and Sakura are dating and Naruto just boldly compliments her forehead and tells her how beautiful she is all the time

I'm referring more towards her emotional resolution with him. I don't know if she would fight him but if she did it would probably be in tandem with Naruto. Still, I'm not sure that's even gonna happen.

I'm just wondering how will Kishi handle Sakura resolving her broken love for Sasuke. She needs closure but I don't know how she'll go about it. Her fake smile makes me feel more confused.

Yea I dont really have any ideas on what Kishi is intending to handle Sakura's realiztion that shes in love with Naruto. The only thing I can think of right now is maybe Sasuke will try to kill Naruto with a surprise attack and since Sakura is on to Sasuke she will have the jump on him and try to kill him OR since she has the jump on him she will take the blow for Naruto.

Also I really dont want Kakashi to die he needs to see Naruto make it through, same reson why Im glad Tsuande pulled through. However Jiriya died before his "rivial/friend" Oorchimaru, Maybe Kakashi and Obito will kill each other, and finally Naruto will get over the hump and deal with Sasuke.

I would be a lot more confuse if she was genuinely happy he was there meaning that she completely disregard the murder attempt and their history, that's something that make absolutely no sense among readers. If she was worried about Sasuke that would be bad for NS, so she not trusting him or happy that he is around means that she is taking everything in consideration and if that's the case it means that she will think about their history, plus mistrust is the most effective way to get over someone you strongly love before, that means that you value yourself more than a crush while it also allow you to see others around you, people who actually cares about you.

Just look on Neji dying for Hinata but what is currently on her mind.

yeah, Jiraiya was his master, but the only who always has been considered Naruto's teacher is Kakashi.

This isn't just about being hokage or not .. is more about that foreshadowing in particular that seems that will not be fulfilled.

Same here too. I actually kinda afraid.. this can be resolved as something good for our side .. but it can also be resolved against us ..

SS is a ticking bomb.

Since Sakura is the only one keeping it alive with her feelings for him, she will be the one to destroy it. But these feelings always leaves her heartbroken, and not only when he's bad. Even in part 1, the only time he was genuinely kind to her was when he thanked her and when he told Naruto to save her at all costs from Gaara.

It's not enough, I see no reason for her to fight for "what they had".

Sakura's doubts in this chapter is not her feelings, but her trust and sadness. She knows Sasuke is up to something and is upset because for a moment she was happy Team 7 was one again.

I would suggest not to draw conclusion based on one panel, for all we know this could be another red herring Kishimoto is using to keep readers attached to the Manga.

If we see both characters falling down while losing consciousness in that dimension or Obito walking away from Kakashi almost dead body and leaving him in that dimension then we wonder if his hours are number, not now there is the fact that Naruto parallel indicates that Kakashi might not die plus we still having seen the Minato, Kakashi and Obito reunion something that for me is meant to happen.

Sakura's doubts in this chapter is not her feelings, but her trust and sadness. She knows Sasuke is up to something and is upset because for a moment she was happy Team 7 was one again.

I think i'm the only one here that didnt see that scene has she resolving her feelings for Sasuke, i feel that she may be resolving that before, she wasnt happy when Sasuke come back, she sought Naruto's acknowledgement and fullfilled her wish with no pairing intentions, then add the fact she doesnt fangirl and not even blushed at Sasuke, and got happy because of her powers and how she felt that she caught up.

I felt that she's resolving that before the whole stuff on kage's summit and may she gives a final blow to it soon, because when Sasuke departed she thought she would be lonely and would have anyone, but there was Naruto who cheered her up and helped her to not give up and resist, so if wasnt Naruto she would not even have trained with Tsunade at first place, because she went to train with her after the promise she made to Naruto that they would save Sasuke together.
I felt that Sasuke has never been an influence on her life, he only makes an influence when she thinks about him as a part of team 7 not individually, she has any words about what Sasuke did to her life because everything was Naruto which did it to her, Kishi downplayed her love too much to a point that there's no reason for her to love him.

It kinda even makes sense with her words about why she loves Naruto on her confession to him.

Don't get me wrong, I know this is the first step of Sakura finally realizing her love for Sasuke isn't what she wants. I just have no idea about how she'll arrive at that conclusion. I know she'll get to the destination but I don't know through what means it will happen.

I'm not worried Sakura will still love Sasuke, I just keep wondering how she'll let go.

I get what you mean. It's good to know that her fake smile is not a means to cover her sadness but to cover her very serious suspicion. It's not about Sakura being sad that Sasuke is up to something, it's more about her being genuinely uncomfortable with his presence right now.

Maybe the reason she's fake smiling is because she wants to convince herself that it's fine to have Sasuke back since that's what she always wanted, but deep down she's liking the idea less and less by the minute.

Same here too. I actually kinda afraid.. this can be resolved as something good for our side .. but it can also be resolved against us ..

It will ultimately resolve in the favor of NS, that's for sure. I just don't know how Kishi will go about it. I'm not wondering about the end result, I'm sure that's NS (631 made it way too obvious), I'm curious about how the journey to get there will go.

Probably you really are. I for one get that what she said is fake because of the smile I just don't get the reason why she lied. Anyway I'm waiting your analysis. you said you will do it in the weekend?

It will definitely continue, I am not saying it won't. But she lied to Sai not once with a fake smile and didn't mean her words and her actions were totally different. That's the case now as well.

Yup, I am planning to do it in the weekend. There are sooooooooooo many things I want to write about her smile. Showing why she doesn't trust Sasuke a long time ago. I think people missed many things from Sakura's character or missed them intentionally, especially other shippers. No mean to bash, tho'...
