H&E's NaruSaku Debate Thread!

But she really does need to... be her own person. Have her own goals, be someone that doesn't have panel time just so she can mention Naruto's name and why she's so determined for him and him alone.
She's like Sasuke to me almost. His entire character is infected with "REVENGE REVENGE REVENGE, WHO CARES ABOUT INNOCENT PEOPLE". But Hinata is "NARUTO-KUN NARUTO-KUN NARUTO-KUN, I LIVE FOR HIM".
I admit, living for Naruto isn't all that bad compared to wanting to kill innocent civilians for even uttering "Uchiha", but it would be 100% more interesting if instead she were interested in impressing her father and becoming strong to prove herself like she should have after the chuunin exam incident.
Hey, maybe she has proven herself already and it was off screen, but that's just how unimportant her character is that we can't even see her grow or be anything else other than a Naruto-kun machine.
And for me, Kishi kinda messed up with Sakura too. Sakura is more than just romance though, she is part of the original team 7. If we toss romance aside, Sakura still has a character. She was friends with Naruto and Sasuke and even excelled in chakra control -which Naruto and Sasuke sucked at-. Her character is not only consistent of Naruto or Sasuke.
Every time she gets screen time, the only thing she's thinking about is not only Naruto or Sasuke, she thinks about her friends, village, her TEAM -not romance-, etc. But I really would have liked if her family was brought into the picture more. She was the only one on the team with parents, I feel Kishi could have done more with that other than Sasuke snapping on her after her parents comment in part 1. Maybe he did have some planned and couldn't fit it in, but I would have rather read about that than 50 chapters of Sasuke and his angst.

Sig made by me though. XD

Her character is still orbiting around Naruto's very existence. I'd like a definite "I'm moving on" event before any unrequited love pains come into play for her. -Unless they already have-
U dont get it, her determination and her "life" it's not orbiting thought naruto anymore, but she still thinks him in a romantic way so even if naruto chooses sakura she wont get heartbroken.
sakura still dont get her resolution unlike the others, just re-read the war arc, everyone got their resolution in that chapter with asuma.
and so on.

Why do I have the feeling that the Naruto vs Tobi is going to move at a maximum frame rate of one punch per month...
With fans eagerly awaiting the punch to connect with that smug bastard's face, only for it to slip through and a trollface plastered onto the cover of the Shounen Jump magazine with the manga being renamed to Troll-a-Ruto...

That is how some politicians are so successful. People have short term memory, or they choose to ignore certain things, either by accident or on purpose. 10+ years ago, Americans let the government talk them into a war against the wrong people -though I feel war is never right- and what's happening now? The American people are kinda falling for it again with this silly weapon crisis with another middle eastern country.
Random tangent I know, but I do feel the general people are the same, even with irrelevant things like a manga pairing. It doesn't matter if those panels look almost exactly the same or what it could mean, there was a significant time between the two events, therefore, it is forgotten. Even if it is brought up again, it is considered grasping at straws.

3 ground rules for maintaining a good reputation with anyone
Rule 1 : Do not talk about Sports
Rule 2 : Do not talk about Religion
Rule 3 : Do not talk about Politics
I pretty much keep these 3 rules in mind for just about everything as it keeps me out of trouble almost 100% of the time.
My point is you could have simply said that they never compared those 2 scenes.

I did not really talk about politics, I talked about how society thinks as a whole, how minds are so quick to forget one thing, on purpose or on accident. Or they choose to remember only one thing and forget about the rest.
This example is even in Naruto itself. Minato wanted for Naruto to be seen as a hero. People knew that Naruto wasn't actually the demon and it was only sealed inside of him, but they choose to forget that part and only considered him a demon.
Not really human nature, but rather... society. "Fanbase" behavior. I've seen that image used in debates many times, it's not that they never compared the image or realized how similar they are, they choose to ignore it or they consider it far fetched to compare the two.

One of the bloggers that apparently saw the movie and gave some details on it also said that it was "clear Kishi was N/S" etc., although I won't rely on this blogger's opinion for too much. If the blogger's movie summary (or whatever it is) is true, and since Kishi wrote the story, I definitely want to see how this movie outcome will affect the manga, although it's highly unlikely it will have any effect at all.

I think Road to Sakura could give us another hint nudge... maybe. At least a little something since it's also supposed to tie into the movie. I just wonder if the anime animation team knows what the movie is about and if they worked on some of the movie a little too.

Why do you think Kishi designs the RtN movie to potrayed how much NH and SS fans are wrong about Hinata being compared with Kushina. And most important, how much NS is canon in common. I just wonder how Naruto will react when Sasuke starts hiting on Sakura and ask her out. This is like the biggest step for him to what might happen in the future. Can Naruto handle AU Sasuke returning twelve year Sakura's feelings, or is he going to punch Sasuke in the face? Or perhaps Sakura will reject AU Sasuke adding of Naruto *smirks evilly*.

1) If NS becomes cannon, it isn't because Kishi chose sides. It was most likely the way he intended the story to go, if anything WE were on his side. That's, of course, provided that NS becomes cannon.
2) Saying NS is all but confirmed reminds me to much the time when I read a Naruhina fan saying that Naruhina is almost cannon after Hinata's proclamation in 573. Saying that NS is almost cannon scares me, because that means we are being overconfident, just like a lot of Naruhina fans.
3) Is it a good thing that we are no longer debating this because we won, or now we have nothing to do anymore on this forum?

Like I said before, I have a feeling that this film might turn out to be canon (not the genjutsu deal). Maybe he could link this movie to right before Naruto went to the turtle island.

The most important thing why I want this upcoming film to be canon, because Sakura gets to meet Naruto's parents and I don't see it happening in the manga. I know film or not, Naruto will have to meet Sakura's parents.
Since we know that NS will happen at the end, we should debate the aftermath. What will Naruto and Sakura's wedding will be like. What gender will their first child be (son or daughter)? That way we don't get bored here.

I think you're skipping way to ahead, why not discus how their DATES will go, they will have to go on a couple a dates don't they? But most likely or not, you're right, we probably won't see them actually be together until years later, when they probably are married.
Of course that's if they DO end up together in the end.

well , i never thought like that because i still have my doubts about that chapter overall, since kishi had injuries on his hand, so i still have my doubts if he make that chapter or it was done by his editors.
i do not want to discuss this i just put my thoughts.
