Nah, I'm not an IchiRuki shipper and I still think that Orihime is too... meh... no attitude. Too much fanservice and too much "the damsel in distress". But she's not even close to be as bad as Hinata.

Part of me thinks Kubo does this stuff to spite Rukia-fanatics...LOL at that time he got pissed at an Orihime hater and went all out on twitter or 2chan. I can't remember...

Actually I not much of a shipper. The only ship that I have ever supported in my entire life is Naruto and Sakura. Its the only fictional pairing that I ever cared about.

I don't have many really. My first are Helga and Arnold from Hey Arnold!. From then from time to time when I saw a good pairing I'd support it. Naruto and Sakura was such a time, Rock and Revy is another. Isn't anyone else going on really right now though.

Well technically speaking pull a Microsoft.

The problem right now is that they already made a lot of money from presales of tickets so they think the movie is a success and people love it when in reality it's a failure and people hate it.

That's why I said it's going to take time until they see the errors of their ways.

Thing is by that time most of us probably will move on and won't even care if they admit they kittened up and give us a proper ending.

 

   

money will probably keep flowing if they show more Sasuke and Kakashi this time around...wasn't that like the main complaint of The Last?

Highly doubt that also there way to many complaints about the movie.

if only kishi was as good with developing rival ships like kubo, then i'd ship both narusaku and naruhina like i do with ichihime and ichiruki.

I'm a pretty casual shipper. I primarily focus on favorite characters and the plot...normally I don't ship something unless it's canon, or the characters are so close it practically is canon. (ie, Soul and Maka from Soul Eater.) I think NS was probably the first time I shipped something that had yet to be confirmed...though I wouldn't have shipped it if I hadn't honestly believed the writing was heading that way.

There's that and this; 
I believe the whole thing started when a rabid anti-Orihime fan started repeatedly messing Kubo and people involved with the anime to give Rukia more screen time, remove Orhime from the story, and that they would attempt to start a boycott of the upcoming movie if Orhime had any role in it at all.

Kubo's initial response was something along the lines of:
"I'm writing the story I want to tell and I'm not changing it for you. If you don't like it stop reading."

Which then turned into this; "If you have the talent to draw something more interesting than BLEACH, then you should become a mangaka immediately. If it's interesting, it could be more successful than BLEACH. If you're going to say you can't draw, then work hard and become an editor and give advice to mangaka. If you've really got talent, you'll be welcome anywhere."

 

"Those without talent and who don't work hard but complain that it (what they have) is unfair despite that, can do nothing but pose hindrances to those who are working hard. They shut their eyes and close themselves in a crevice and just get by living with their mouths open eating nothing but rain and dust."

Well let's see about that

If I'm not mistaken, they made about 4.5mil in revenue just from opening weekend and pre-sales, all forced and non-refundable. We just need to see how much of a profit they actually made after subtracting all the losses from marketing, animating, voicing, and merchandise.
