Orihime is the Hinata of Bleach. Big breasted, shy around the protagonist, uses non stop the name of the protagonist, followed by "-kun". I for one, am happy she dissapered for a long period of time (i'm sad about Sado although)

That's messed up dude. Orihime's a great character and is doing pretty well in the current Bleach arc (protecting Ichigo from Uryu's light arrow). The only people I think could seriously hate Orihime are shipping fanatics (*cough*ichirukishippers*cough*)
Also she's a main character unlike Hinata. I really hate how people compare Naruto characters to Bleach or any other series. They're completely different.

Also its Rukia X Renji. Ichigo doesn't think about relationships because it could hurt his friendship with Rukia and Orihime

I don't think bleach will have romantic resolution thought.
Most likely it gonna be open ending.

I didn't like Orihime at first and I kinda still don't but I can say she's not Hinata. She won't let her friends and has a big screen time. Also,... I ship Ulquihime :smug:

hide those melons jesus

Yeah that's what drags her down imo, but that is such a bad tendency among manga. :( It's almost like a trope.

I think there was an episode where i counted almost ~25-30 kurosaki-kun. It's almost like that was her whole vocabulary...something like " I am Groot"

Rukia fights way more than Orihime and her power ups can be compared to those of the main male cast. She is portrayed as very strong, she gets huge fights just for herself taking on significant enemy bosses. Orihime is a support character through and through. I wouldn't say that Orihime shares the MFC role, but she sure follows close(r than Hinata).

orihime was never meant to be a fighter, but a healer, which she excels at. bringing ichigo back from the dead was one of her greatest feats.

We should make something out of the fact that we are like Minato and Kushina. We all were lied to for no apparent logical reason.

That is one of the biggest problems with this ending. Minato and Kushina were deceived. A mother's dying wishes were a red herring. Kishimoto is an kitten.

Well, in my opinion her healing abilities where never portrayed as something she had to work on significantly. I don't know, it always looked like a general static ability that happened without hard work (though she was shown to train other aspects of her power).

I wouldn't say that Orihime shares the MFC role, but she sure follows close(r than Hinata).

Note; She fights more than Orihime but not on PAR with most of the other male characters. Which of course would be true since Orihime is not a fighter unless PUSHED to be one.

Orihime has had power ups, and her power is virtually unlimited as far as we know. Their powers and skills are different but that doesn't make Orihime less important then Rukia because she's support roled. If anything Support is the most important thing in a team. -plays mmorpg's-

If you don't have a Cleric/healer you are SOL. You can only tank for so long without someone to negate the damage and buff against further injury. Sakura is technically a SUPPORT role oriented character. Rarely is she meant ( and woefully so) to bust a move and K.O people, but it doesn't make her less needed than more physical characters.

Given Orihime's continued prevalence in the story, I'm still pretty sure she and Rukia share the MFC role, but to each their own.

Ships don't matter to me in bleach, because I like crackships best :zaru: but I think Ichihime is more likely.

Yeah Renji and Rukia are childhood friends and its been hinted that he may have feelings for her. There's been no hints that Rukia and Ichigo have romantic feelings for eachother. Tite Kubo himself confirmed their relationship wasn't romance.
IchiHime really is pretty obvious with the Grimmjow/Ulquiorra fights and the latest chapter with Ichigo blushing over Orihime's new outfit lol.

but she has worked on it, as it was noted during the time skip.

Exactly!! And I ship Ichiruki but Orihime is one of my favorites in the series lol. Never liked Chad tho <_< Let's just hope Kubo doesn't pull a Kishi and end Bleach horribly (even though the series isn't doing too well)

I do think that we might get some kind of hint on who ended up with who, but I will fight anyone who will say that Ichigo already holds some kind of romantic feelings towards any female - Rukia OR Orihime. He has never shown any kind of hints that he considers Orihime more than just a friend. And in terms of friendship there is no one more close to him than Rukia.

lolol kishimoto still being forced to draw manga nh to promote the last :excited: so obvious the studio is trying desperately to use his name to show the film as "canon!"

your honeymoon can wait kishi, you chose to listen to the studio so just continue to suffer drawing manga :sleepy:

Yes Kubo is exploiting Orihime for the male readers unfortunately but that doesn't make her a bad character. She's extremely compassionate and has saved her friends' lives many times.
Also--that chapter confirms Ichigo's sexual attraction for Orihime. XD. Sado Urahara and Yoruichi are big IchiHime shippers.
