Mind telling us what this person said specifically?
If I recall correctly: Basically they made out like in The Last Kakakshi and Sasuke were a big part of the movie but it turned out that Sasuke had like 30 seconds of screentime in which he looked like Pedro Uchina and Kakashi was basically behind a desk the whole time. So yea it pissed a bunch of their fans off and they wanted refunds. Of course they never got themand on Yahoo reviews they kept removing like all the negative stuff.
God, I remember when Shounen Jump website was running that "Thank Kishi" imageboard or whatever and it got spammed with Naruto/Sakura with the red thread connecting them lmao.

The land of fire--a place that borders a desert. The village hidden in the leaves. You know what happens to leafy trees when it gets cold? They fall the kitten off.
Retconned by the genius behind The Last.
Pls shame me for procrastinating.

Because it is supposed to have a Christmas-y feel to it. Christmas is the time of romance in Japan afterall
That's what they were going for

The thing I am most triggered about is that it apparently snows in Konoha

when I watched naruto for the first time I was watching carefully and trying to insert myself in that world but on a second viewing things can seem different. I was watching karin again and I have to say I can see why gaiden exists ... karin and sarada do appear to have similarities it makes me think the designs for the next generation kids that naruto and sasuke had were with different mothers ... that would explain the glasses and lack of byakugan... I mean who buys that they "forgot"

Even if burrito and mop head were originally designed as NS kids, they're both ugly lmao. Burrito less so than the mop. Salad looks nothing like Sakura, and one might argue the only thing she got from her was her personality.

They should have just made a valentines day movie. There is nothing romantic about creepy scarf genjutsu.

Boruto was originally designed as NS kid and Sarada as a SK kid. The daughter is purely nH because they wanted double assurance that nH was canon.

Anyways been a few days so might as well comment on that article now.
First off about that bs about Boruto being a having good rating. They got that from a twitter post who showed...well remember the last time we heard that? You know when they were saying that Boruto was popular a few months back...or was it last year...anyways we asked Namehash about it and she said it wasn't rating but profits due to distributing their anime...well same this time. How do I know? Well, Naruto is number one on the chart and bleach is number five. So Boruto was profitable due to distribution right because a lot of groups wanted the sequel to Naruto. Thing is they paid for it but will they continue to? Remember, Cartoon Network removed it from adult swim and replaced it with Jo Jo. Also gotta love that site can't spell and has no check for sources. Why this click-bait site keep being recommended to me?
Beyond that, this is the same thing Boruto fans have been doing since the anime started...if not before that. If the anime is crap they will say the manga is good, if the manga is crap then they will say the anime is good to defend Boruto. It honestly one of the most pathetic ways I've ever seen a fanbase defend something. They know its crap to the point they can't even defend it but they hope by defending the one your not complaining about they an convince you that one is good.
Also they think it is a good idea to restart the manga? Even if they make it weekly it will take months if not years for the plot to get anywhere even with a competent writer. Also neither are going on any hiatus. The anime needs to continue to justify its existence and it going on hiatus may worry the foreign distributors.
Also if Boruto was so successful; why is the only celebration of 20 years of this IP existence is a filler time travel arc? Where is another movie? It been four years since the last one? If not a movie how about an OVA? Hell another Naruto/Boruto game that isn't a mobile?

It basicallyh shows Studio Pierrot feels Boruto CANNOT fail so they try to keep saying it's successful to justify the fact they know it's fallen to crap and they know no one really gives a damn about it. The fandom is no better, just like you said for sure.

Well yeah, obviously if you restart the manga, the anime has 3 choices; either halt the production to give the manga breathing room to get a head start on the plot, continue with the fillers until further notice, or get the creator's blessing to do an anime exclusive ending. Now, the first and second choices are obviously lose-lose because it doesn't solve the fundamental problem in that you are stuck with fillers until fans revolt or lose interest altogether, or you stop making episodes which you BETTER PRAY the merchandise and DVD sales keep you afloat. An anime exclusive ending is risky because I have not heard of one that was better received than the manga ending(correct me if I'm wrong) and Even Fullmetal Alchemist's 2 endings are still in heavy debate and that anime exclusive ending was the best one ever.
Point is, the damage done with Boruto is far from an easy fix and I don't imagine even a restart will solve it even when done properly. And if it did, what story would they tell? It will still be a Naruto sequel that needs to take in the mess Naruto has become and I doubt even a miracle worker could sort that out.

There's another option that Studio Pierrot could do, but they don't have the balls to do it, and that's to come out, say how the ending, The Last, and Boruto has been all them, how everything that has happened so far is their fault, and that they will sell the rights to the anime to someone else and allow Kishimoto to be able to make the ending he had originally in mind. Shueisha is also too damn greedy to let that happen, and Kishimoto doesn't care anymore, so we won't ever get the damage to be fixed.

To be honest they won't do anything because they see it as too much risk without the certainty of reward.
Let's look at Boruto franchise.
The manga was removed from the biggest magazine both due to it being a poorly received flop as well as the original creator beginning another manga -which is also flopping-, but it under no threat of cancellation as long as the anime continues. Which is way it was moved to another magazine. Though funnily enough the manga that replaced it is in danger of being cancelled. As for the anime, it was also poorly received that originally it had to keep moving to desperately to try to find an audience. Which it did on Sunday by turning into "babies first shounen anime". Also, by being the sequel to Naruto it has so many foreign distribution contracts to help keep it afloat.
However, it hasn't gotten any new movie announcements when its predecessor got one every summer. There have been no new console games, since that rip off of Ninja Storm and Xenoverse flopped, only mobile games; which are cheap to make for what they get out of micro-transaction. Their has been no announcements for it at events, Shueisha is content to just pretend it doesn't exist unless they have to bring it up. And the biggest event that has occurred is a time travel arc in the anime which even got our attention. But that's it.
In short, Boruto survives at the moment but does not thrive and as long as nothing comes along to shake it up it will continue to exist for years to come.

You know what still gets me to this day?
The fact that all of the problems that proenders have with Sakura and more....could have all been solved by making NS canon.
They wanted the characters to be the way they are now and complain about how they are now.
"I hate the fact that Sakura is so obsessive over Sasuke"
Okay, well she should get over him and be with Naruto
"Oh, no. Sakura HAS to be with Sasuke."
Like...do these people not understand what they are saying? They WANTED this. They got exactly what they asked for and now they are ungrateful and whiny. This is THEIR fault and they refuse to accept it. I wanted something different. Something better.
There is more, but this is my biggest. Also the "Sakura is useless" argument. I responded to someone like this saying that Sakura is useless against Sasuke because Naruto HAD to be the one to save him. It is a self-defeating plot point.
If Sakura succeeded in any plan she pulled on Sasuke...then Naruto would lose all purpose in the story dealing with Sasuke and there would be no final fight.
If she convinced him right at the start, he wouldn't have left
If she killed him at the Kage Summit Arc, Naruto and Sasuke would never had the fight
If she convinced him in Ch 693, then again no fight would occur.
So, this is the catch-22. If Sakura succeeds, then Naruto fails when it comes to Sasuke.
This is simple logic.
Which means Hinata is the like the mom of that kid who just sits there as he talks obnoxiously and runs around the aisles being a menace

Yeah, I feel you on this. The arguments from these "so-called" fans makes you wanna bang your head on to something hard more than 10 times.
What's Happening with the Naruto series as of now!

Agreed plus I've seen recent video on Sakura saying that she's not useless I heard she tanked a biju bomb. And that she's currently as strong as Naruto and Sasuke before there sage power ups. Plus they say she's useless cause there comparing her to Naruto and Sasuke and you really can't do that with how much kishi piled on with those two.You know what still gets me to this day?

Actually Sakura did any of those things I think it'd be better cause really that last fight between Naruto and Sasuke accomplished nothing.
