Huh?.  really is that true.

When The Last film aired December of 2014 in Japan, people attending the cinema received a brochure/pamphlet of Kishi's interviews prior to that film. During the interview in which he states Naruto and Sakura's closure from ever being a pairing) that they saw each other in a romantic light after 700 chapters. This was discovered by former H&E member Ramenatsu that was living in Japan and stumble upon the discussion in the main Naruto japanese fourum and translated each Japanese post and discussion. He spied  to make sure it was legit and even posted links to confirmed that it came out of the people's mouth. I assume that Organic Dinosuar mistranslated it for North America he omitted that part. Even before the Sakura novel came out, Sp staff and the actors made a joke about Naruto and Sakura's bonds are stronger than that of husband and wife as advertisement and they are still even doing it in the Boruto anime. lols

yea but even if the manga tanks as long as the Anime can still generate cash they could probably still continue it under full SP control. 

 

Not necessarily. One of the things about airing shows in Japan is that the process is different than it is in America. Rather that submitting a pilot and the station ordering episodes, instead the creators essentially pay for the show to be aired. The TV station can be involved with the show's creation, which means they can have their own producers on staff to make demands.

 

And a seasonal anime rarely sells over 10k. Heck, 3k is hard enough to get and even then an anime can still be considered unpopular.  But long running anime? Yeah, you'll never see those kinds of sales.

So people were lied to at the at the last I hear the pre-sale tickets were why it was successful since most were Sasuke and Kakashi fans.

Which is how Studio Pierrot claimed the movie did so financially well, even if they had to LIE to the audience about it all, thus to try to justify how the ending and Boruto are, even as they fail still.

Man. I really want to collect a ton of evidence of the events surrounding when the ending came out. There's a lot of people who didn't know what was going on at that time or didn't care that much. 
They hardly believe you when you explain it. I remember this place just exploding when it all happened. It's really sad.

If I recall correctly: Basically they made out like in The Last Kakakshi and Sasuke were a big part of the movie but it turned out that Sasuke had like 30 seconds of screentime in which he looked like Pedro Uchina and Kakashi was basically behind a desk the whole time. So yea it pissed a bunch of their fans off and they wanted refunds. Of course they never got them and on Yahoo reviews they kept removing like all the negative stuff. 

God, I remember when Shounen Jump website was running that "Thank Kishi" imageboard or whatever and it got spammed with Naruto/Sakura with the red thread connecting them lmao.

  I love how they really want us to believe there awful movie was good and them removing negative reviews shows that.

Hell if I saw this in the treater I'd punch someone and demand a refund like in that Pluto Nash skit from robot chicken.

The thing is with Hinata is that despite what others say about her character, the fact of the matter is she is "SOOOO FLAT" in characterization and there was so little effort put into her that nothing that she does is believable. In fact, to make her look better, others have to look even worse or just not be there at all. PERFECT EXAMPLE!!.............. *pointing to "The Last: Naruto the Movie"

That's because it's very clear that Kishi never cared about her. Almost every single time she's in the manga she's used as a plot device. From the beginning when she was used for the conflict between Naruto and Neji to the very end when she was used to show that the one who stood by Naruto and stands with him and never gives up on him is Sakura.

I just wonder why Kishi didnt kill Hinata off after the fight with Neji she had nothing else after the fight.

That's because it's very clear that Kishi never cared about her. Almost every single time she's in the manga she's used as a plot device. And you see too in the fight between Naruto and Neji, Hinata wanted Naruto to give up when he took the 8 Trigrams 64 Palms from Neji, while Sakura was worried, but was wanting him to stand up and keep going. Just like when Obito kicked Naruto pretty good and how Hinata was freaked, but Sakura told her that Naruto's not going to be taken down that easily. Even in the fight with Pain, people complain Sakura did NOTHING, but she trusted Naruto and did her job as a medical ninja to help the people who needed it, especially the severely weakened Tsunade after she used up her reserves of chakra with Katsuyu to protect everyone when Nagato had the main Pain use Almighty Push to destroy the village.

 

That's why the ending pisses me off most of all besides just the unplanned feeling of it... the fact it takes all of that and throws it away!
