I don't know about you guys, but I feel really relived after watching this trailer. 

Hinata's not the only one screaming Naruto. Sakura did too. And she was the first <3

Narutos' "I have to tell you something when I'm back" in context to this scene when they were kids: 

You have to admit that Naruto was a big prick back then, and as far as we know Hinata was always more or less on his side. 

Maybe he was mean to her when he should not? 

Maybe he'll goanne explain this to her? Maybe Hinata will finally find "peace" after that?

There's no better way to inspire hope on the readers/viewers then to make your protagonist give up on the love of his life

He could easily write if off as Naruto changing his feelings, or Sakura giving up on love altogether.

Hm... I'm not inspiring much positivity. But if Naruto is going to address the POAL in the next chapter and/ or confess, something must have happened, as the two of them are clearly not together. Unless Kishimoto wants to write Hinata as "The Other Woman", ha.

Tbh I don't see what it is in that trailer that can freak out NS fans. Then again our fandom is really insecure, so I'm not surprised there are 90 pages of posts. Business as usual in this thread

He could - but every time this thought comes through my mind my logic says "wtf? are you insane?! read the manga and then think again ...!" and restores my faith in NS.

If he can make Sasuke come back to the "light side" besides trying to kill him and his loved one in the process multiple times, I've a hard time believing he would give up on Sakura giving the current situation (end of manga and development) and mainly because of the "never giving up" attitude/theme associated with Naruto

Oh yes, did you see just how red his cheeks got afterwards? Or how happy Hinata looked there? It's truly romantic admeration, NO WAY it can be anything different!   
Darling please, I understand you're worried, but there is more to this scene or movie then you might think. Keep your head up!

Yeah that scene worries me but I am hoping they are just discussing if Hinata has the strength to rescue Hanbi or something like that. But no need to worry just wait and see. 

 

I'm not worried anymore :) but honestly, after all this, I'm never watching an anime from SP again, they're so biased it's childish :/ this is supposed to be the last movie yet it's about a character that's hardly in the manga and her dumb feelings? even the heroine is cast to the side :/ totally unfair..

Tell me about it I was like on the 99 page or something, trying to keep up where I left yesterday and searching for the trailer talk, then I look at the last page number and... well you can imagine my reaction pretty easily XD

You see that's my problem: it's not the possibiliy that he gave up on Sakura, even though that in itself his kinda against is character but I digress, is the fact that nothing suggests him giving up on her and falling for Hinata instead, there's no development whatsoever in the manga to make it plausible...

I thought a few hours sleep would make me more calm...but nope I'm still pissed off, and not because of the NaruHina undertones I could live with that, I'm still pissed off at Kishi screwing with a story he developed for 15 years with fake history, we aren't even talking about the crap about Kaguya and his bleeding brother who completely disappeared from history, to a point that not even his decendants know a thing about him, I'm still pissed at the supposed history between Naruto and Hinata.

 

Also anyone who thinks that the manga will show NaruSaku next week, it's highly unlikely to happen guys, think about it, how will SJ, Kishi and Studio Pierrot look if a week before the manga was ending they promoted the movie as potentially NaruHina, and then the Manga showed otherwise? It would be a massive PR disaster, NaruHina fans (and by extention SasuSaku) wouldn't go watch the movie in protest for being duped and NaruSaku wouldn't go because they got their ending they don't need to endure NaruHina faked history and other BS.

 

I thought with it being a double chapter we might actually get some resolution, but it seems unlikely now. If we do get any resolution it will be between Sasuke and Sakura, though how that goes I have no idea, I still can't see that pairing happening but if Kishi is altering history for the sake of things he might just add a random SasuSaku moment from the past that has never been mentioned in the manga up until this point.
