Like what? He won't get any actual power before next year, and bills have to be passed. All he has now are promises. Am I wrong? I'm not a pro at american politics, but it's obvious you're exaggerating.

It's a sarcastic dig at Obama, though I'll admit to not understanding what he's getting at.

Yeah I know it's not a literal statement, but sarcasm needs to have a point so.

What? That he threatens to destroy the foundation started by the first two presidents

I stop following the Trump victorious campaign and first thing I hear from his mouth is that he wants to establish a white supremacy policy over the entire USA. Or was it just the media talking? Before he wants to deport ever imagination now this farce! If true, he can shove that policy up where the sun don't shine! Lincoln must be rolling is grave
It's just the media. White supremacy... that's a laugh, if anything, white people are hated and discriminated more then ever by the liberals because they "dared" to vote for Trump. Not like 30% of hispanics and asians voted for him, and 10% of the blacks. I guess these minorities that voted for him are just fruits of our imagionation? Ha, and don't get me started on this whole immigration ordeal. People don't even do their research before accusing Trump to be the worst xenofobe in human history.

Started by the first two presidents? Hardly. They'd be appalled by what the government is today. You need to stop watching the media, and listen to this guy and similar channels when it comes to politics. None of that race or sex baiting "white supremacy" bull kitten. Straight and to the point discussions about politics, and none of the BS the media tries to put you through.

I very much agree with you. White supremacy is nothing to laugh at, especially when KKK is having a feast after Trump's victory, and his recent hiring of megaracist+sexist Steve Bannon. I don't think it's up for discussion.
You can see there is a clear imbalance between who voted for Trump and who voted for Hillary, even though some black and hispanic people chose Trump because not everybody care about their own. PEW research made a fine article on it.
I also think this tweet, brings up a good point - that voting for Trump is an act of hatred itself. While his supporters are being hated for their hatred(or they just don't give an F about those Trump&CO hates), muslims, women, black people etc. are suffering a national wave of hate crimes because now that a bigot can be president, people can do what they want. I'm not making this up, there are people on social media literally saying they can do what they want with women now that Trump will be in charge. That scares me. Trump has nicely asked them to stop(impressive right..), but you can't call for a ban of all muslims and then be surprised when someone starts pulling off people's hijabs..
I almost forgot, alexander, your definition of discrimination does not fit people's anger at Trump supporters. Discrimination is a distinctive treatment against people based on a part of their identity - race, class, disability, gender. Political standpoint does not fit in here.

How I'm supposed to have a logical debate with this?
The KKK is having a feast now, so what? People don't choose who endorse them. Trump never asked for their support or help. This was their deliberate choice. Blame them, not Trump.
Some black and hispanics voted for Trump because they weren't fooled by a fake narrative made by the establishment and the mainstream media. You on the other hand is a whole nother story.
And you talk about social media and hate yet if someone tweets "I hope all white people die for Trump victory" I bet you wouldn't even shurg over it. I think you're the one that's racist towards white people. It's aways white people fault. I can say as white men, that respects woman, minorities, and people with actual minds of their own, that fully supported Trump, that you're full of it Sushi. You see hate everywere towards anyone that is not a overly agreeable liberal.

I used the KKK as an example because the only thing they feast of is racism, isn't it? He didn't ask them for help, but he asked Steve Bannon for help and that to me is not better.
Anyhow I don't like how you're going at me personally, you don't know what I see or how I would to a tweet like the one you mentioned. I think it prevents us from having a civil discussion. I don't really have much more to say, except I don't believe you when you respect women and minorities. If you did it would reflect on your vote.

And Hillary was tutored by an ex KKK leader, but who cares! She says nice things to minorities now. She must a very honest person right?
And I think your generalizations towards white people are preventing me for being civil towards you. I sort of see what you're getting at, you are judging me and I am judging you. But I think you misunderstood what I said. I never assumed the way you are in real life or your reason for voting. I only assume based on what you write(but you put a lot of words into my mouth), idk what BS you're talking about. You voted for a candidate that will enact racist policies, I don't care if you agree with it or just accept it. No matter why you voted for Trump, it was more important than the xenophobic opinions that will hurt people. You might be nice to your muslim neighbour but to me it doesn't matter when in the end you don't support his rights.
I see that I've offended your white fragility(that's a real term you should look up). I wonder if you've ever been this upset at someone who's racist against non-white people? Have you spoken up about the black people that have been pushed at the back of the school bus, like we are in Rosa Parks' time again? Do you feel for women whose hijabs have been ripped off by people? Or for all jews who have to see graffited swaztikas in their neighbourhood? I'm not asking if it's Trump's fault or not, and if you don't want to answer me you should ask yourself whether you can feel the same compassion for people of color.

I can more then accept that people are upset. I can just go on youtube and laugh at all the childish meltdowns. But in here, so called "progressives" are inciting chaos and violence over a lawful democratic vote. They are not just upset, these people spit on the values of their country because the narrative didn't went their way for once. So I won't get off the horse because you don't like me denouncing them for the crap they are trying to pull.
None of the people doing this would have accepted the other side being upset and would have been fighting each other for the chance to smugly tell Republicans to "get over it." In addition, they are far more than upset. They are vandalizing property and setting things on fire. One such lovely message said "Die Whites Die" and the lady on CNN said people would have to die. Then there was the group that assaulted a man for voting for trump.
Is there any evidence that Iran is making any series efforts to comply with it now?
Both of you do realize that when Obama took over, the right was just as vicious?
Slamming the left for being upset is asinine, considering that the right acts much the same way. I'm with Leo on this one, especially since I'm an independent.
All I care about now is the Clinton's are done. She will no longer be able to run for president, and Obama's legacy is coming to an end. What did he accomplish in his eight years? Quite a bit, actually. Dividing the country the most its ever been since the Civil War, made racism worse, made the most ridiculous health care system in history (that cost me two jobs) doubled the national debt, created ISIS, turned the U.S into the laughing stock of the world, severely damaged our military, and embarrassed us as a whole by apologizing to our enemies on his apology tour. What will he be remembered for? Being the first black president. Nothing else. Good riddance, Obama. You're fired, and you should have been a LONG time ago.
We've broken the back of the globalist elites, and now it's time to push forward. The Republicans control all three houses of the government, which means we can finally get some kitten done in this country. No more political correctness, and no more apologizing to our enemies, and no more rules of engagement. The Democratic party has been destroyed, and it's being exposed for what it really is: a pathway to Communism and Socialism. The media is untrustworthy, and most people know it. It's only a matter of time before the big studios are forced to close their doors.
England and America have done their part. Now what country will be next?
Most of this is sad over exaggeration that serves little purpose. This sounds like the drivel they put on Fox News. This serves no purpose, and this is the exact kind of rhetoric that has crippled the governments ability to function from both sides of the isle.
This is just as bad as the far left, and is an example of the toxicity that Washington warned against.

The bold is absurd. You completely brush the entire right based on the actions and words of an extreme minority. How is this any better than the prejudice you attribute to those you point your finger at?

I don't recall them engaging in riots and setting stuff on fire.
I am not slamming them for being upset. If that was all it was, I wouldn't fault them. I don't even care about the ones saying "not my president" or the equivalent of I hope he fails. Republicans have said similar things in the past. I do criticize them for the vandalism, the rioting, the fires, assaults suspected trump voters, the numerous people asserting that racism is the only thing that matters to Trump voters, effectively calling white women traitors...
Besides, I was more magnanimous 8 years ago. Back I would have believed they would have understood Republicans would have been upset and would have respected that so long as the behavior wasn't criminal. I don't feel the same way now. They done nothing that would lead me to believe that had the results been different they would have understood us being upset. We'd have just been denounced as sexist for doing what they are doing right now.
The bold is absurd. You completely brush the entire right based on the actions and words of an extreme minority. How is this any better than the prejudice you attribute to those you point your finger at?
I think her statement is worse than that. It's only a step away from asserting that minorities have an duty to vote their skin color. Asserting that because they vote for Trump because they don't care about their own is a terrible thing to say. When people like Samantha Bee tell white women how awful they are, this assumption is what underlies it.

People were hanging Obama in effigy with a noose around his neck and lighting him on fire. It happens every time no matter the side.
I'm not saying that I'm in agreement with the rioting, I'm just saying it's naive to point at the left and tell them to suck it up, as if the right doesn't do the same thing.

And yet, you put words into people's mouth for voting from Trump, assuming a lot about them, and somehow it's ok. And enough with the buzzwords. I want clear cut arguments. What are these Trump policies that you call racist and xenophobic?
White guilt is a real thing too, just so you know.

I didn't tell them to suck it up. They are going to have to at some point because I think most of what they are doing is counterproductive. But for the moment, Trump's not in office, so outside of complaining there is much to do. What I am saying is that I am unwilling to offer to them what I know they would not offer to me.
EDIT: Then I stand corrected about the fire, but buring Trump effigies doesn't bother me much. What I dislike is the destruction of innocent people's property because they are butt hurt about the election results. They protests near where I live were actually peaceful. No issue if that's how they want to spend their time. But it terms of scale, I don't recall anything close to this level during either one of Obama's elections.
