What's odd is that I didn't notice it at first but they did. I guess I was pretty entertained. I don't let my judgement of manga comparison get the best of me, so I wasn't angry or anything. I thought it was a fun series that probably helped newcomers to get entertained. Those ratings don't lie. I mean yes, as a manga follower, I was disappointed, but the action, thanks to being DBZ meets Final Fantasy, it helped the hindering the downside, at least to me.Did the anime to NnT rush things? I'm just saying, but Magi rushed too huh. Just be aware, anime does this to get the point across. It can happen to Soma, so be on the lookout. I think the ones that aren't rushed are the forever lasting one, alas One Piece and Naruto.As of right now, I don't have a high priority on watching it. To be fair on HxH, it had a deadline, so there's no need to drag, which is why I really like MadHouse. They have no true deadline at times, they just do it.The ones lasting forever are the worst ones, lol- except for Gintama and HxH.

I really don't want it to happen but if the anime really is ending with 24 episodes and a second season is not announced already, then we are looking at the whole election being covered. They rarely end a anime half wayy through the arc.
We'll probably see the Going home mini arc scrapped if that happens though...that said I don't know if it would be possible to do it even then, next week is episode 12 and we still have to see the conclusion of the current challenge and the final challenge after that which has to be shown to show Souma's skill in adapting an thinking on the fly. So we are looking at 11 episodes for the election, which really is not enough...It's possible the anime could end with the battle with the copycat chef. However I only see that happening if they definitely plan on a second season within 12 months. Which I would expect considering the popularity of the series.
This is J.C Staff as well so I would expect a second season and they are usually pretty close to the original source, Ofcourse season three onwards might be an issue, I'm still waiting for Toaru Majutsu no Index season three. There is so much content still left and it's one of the most popular series in Japan yet we still haven't seen a season 3 announcement.

I liked the character interactions for the most part. Although Erina's is much better she still is kinda snobby still But hopefully she fully warms up to him eventually.
