When I saw Tenya Iida speeding up like a thunder, Shouto Todoroki stealing Midoriya's headband, my heart dropped. But I should have known this would happen. There's no way Deku and his team would win this match so easily by just avoiding battles all this time.

Btw, I'm proud of you Iida ^^

Neito Monoma aka Copycat has an interesting Quirk, but it sucks for him that he can only use somebody else's quirk for five minutes or so; however, how exactly does he "copy" it?

Yes! Midoriya is going in and finally using his quirk. I hope in the future we get to see Deku fighting more.

Ochako Uraraka- love her determination!

That's a really nice coloring he used. Amazing how in that first chapter, that boy seemed like a whimp that just wants to be a hero or something. Now, he looked ready. This intrigued me. And here I thought I got another Tsuna.

The ending where Team Todoroki took away Deku's headband, holykitten what is going to happen?? I loved Ochako's determination in this chapter, and again it really amazes to see how far Deku has come since the beginning of the series. I mean the series is only on chapter 29 and to see him have this much development already.

I absolutely agree! Deku's development over such a short amount of time is executed wonderfully. Doesn't feel rushed at all and his inner core remains the same. We don't get to see him doing a 180 degree turn with his personality.

Starting next chapter, I'm gonna reread the chapters. I'm sick of looking up the peoples' names each time on the Boku no Hero Academia wiki page.

I glanced it and didn't completely read it. It has an interesting concept. I'll definitely check it out. My hiatus is almost over. I got my mind cleared up and things to finish off in other materials. So I'm going back full force very soon.

What I'm wondering about is what will happen to Shouto Todoroki. If Deku will go in, he's seriously gonna break all of Todoroki's bones, and we quickly get a 206 bones scene

I do think they'll get their handband back, but I'm hoping that nevertheless Todoroki's team will advance. Same goes with Bakugou. I don't like him at all, but it'd be kind of a bummer if Deku's main rival does not advance. I'm interested to see if Bakugou can get the handband.

Yeah I know exactly how you feel about both teams, I'm feeling the same way. Although if Bakugou doesn't advance then I do see his hatred fueling even more.. This may be me but am I the only one who thinks Bakugou's been stale as a character compared to everyone else?

Yeah, Bakugou so far is what I would call a stagnant character. He made zero development so far. I hope he will though b/c his attitude is getting on my nerves. No real teamwork in this tournament. Zero. He's just doing whatever he wants to do.

This guy though! Seriously, i have officially developed a love hate relationship with him. His character development is going to go down in history I swear! He's gonna end up being the poster child for Boku No Hero Academia, just watch.

Well, I hope and am sure that Bakugou will develop. The way he is right now, I am afraid that he will easily be pulled to the villain side- of course not, on some Sasuke-type kitten.

Don't get me wrong. What he has accomplished so far is admirable. He is talent, but is far from being a real hero.

Agreed. I wouldn't be surpised if he does go that route, but at the same time that's way to stereotypical. And from what we've seen in this manga, it's far from being stereotypical.  

 

So hopefully he'll keep his place as a eccentric and different character.

First off I'm probably going to reread the manga soon now that we've reached thirty chapters. Trang are you still going to be up for that commitment, i remember that's what you said. 

 

 

Second, speculations on the final round of the festival? what do you guys think is going to happen? 

 

And last but not least, The villains that'll appear  cause so far things have been going a little too smooth with the festival unless Kohei's trying to raise tension on purpose for a villian to appear just to prove you don't really need a villian to show up every arc. I highly doubt it, but something tells me that we're going to get a threat coming up soon be it during the final round or briefly aferwards.

Yup, I will! I'll be rereading a few chapters every day ^^ I'm sick of going to wiki each and every time.

Hmm... I would love to see a dual match XD Kind of missing that in which we just see someone's pure fighting abilities. I mean, we only have 16 players left, so...

Todoroki! For some reason I just like him a lot. I'm intrigued about his other power.

Pretty sure something might happen when it comes to villains.

I like bird guy. He stole my heart in this chapter. I'm so happy for Midorya! And as for Shouto...I have this headcanon where it's actually him who's gonna become a villain and Katsuki will end up becoming the hero who'll save him. Idk, he just gives me more villain vibes than Kacchan. Kacchan is just an *ss.  

 

Shouto = Sasuke/Zuko. Bakugou is his own character to me.
