That is some nice fan art and all, but it would be more accurate if Naruto was on the right side since his right hand is a bloody pulp.

The fight's officially concluded, and Sasuke views Team 7 as Family. All that's left now is the remaining loose ends.

 

 

 

Side note: Um correct me if I'm wrong, but is next week's chapter for 699 39 pages, and 700 44 pages?

Sadly but true Kishimoto kill all the romance with this set up  and I just can't see NS moment after this  its gonna be all Sakura crying for T7

Or you can see it as Sasuke (the biggest NS cockblock) being officially out of the picture.

Is it just me or does it seem like Naruto held on to more of his arm in the aftermath? Sasuke's stump is sleeved though so it might be just an issue of perspective.

With Sasuke back to his senses, Naruto should finally be okay to be hokage at anytime and otherwise confess to Sakura! He fulfilled that promise.

No, but  she still will be soft with him, probably even if Sakura is with Naruto she will not hit Sasuke.

I just want to see him apologize to her as he did with Karin. This would be reconfortable.
Naruto still have to give Hinata an answer to her confession as well...
And then, free way to NS!

I'm hoping for all of this to be resolved by next week. I feel like we'll get a scene with Hinata accepting NS like during the Pain Arc. That'll be good for her character :)

Sasuke admitted that he was the one who lost that fight. The fact that Naruto basically got SASUKE of all people to admit his defeat shows that Naruto is stronger in every aspect. Though since Naruto wanted to defeat Sasuke that wasn't a bloodthirsty psychopath, he views it as a tie.

I know Naruto is stronger than Sasuke in every aspect. But I have always wanted to see Naruto finally beat Sasuke in battle. 

I did not like this 'they are both equals in strength' ending to their fight. 

 

Another reason for my disappointment is this will lead to a never ending debate between Naruto and Sasuke fans. See NF and other sites, its already started. Naruto fans saying- " He beat Sasuke, Sasuke said- " I lose" himself " and Sasuke fans saying- " No. Both of them couldn't fight anymore. This was a tie. Sasuke is the over-all winner because he beat Naruto in part 1" .

 

This war between the Naruto and Sasuke fans will never end   :facepalm:  This situation is similar to how it would be if Kishi decides to go for an open-ending for the pairings. The debates and fighting between the NS/NH/SS fandoms would never stop !

Lololol. I did think of a heart shape at first, then I heard people on this forum interpret the blood as hand holding and thought that that made more sense.

I doubt it. But I'll wait for the last chapter. Speaking of which, is there going to be two more chapters after this with 700 being the last or is it just going to be 699 as the last chapter?

Doubt it. He really didn't change at all. Everything that happened in this chapter only supported why he had to, in his mind, kill Naruto. He told the sage that Naruto was his best friend, and the only thing that happened today is that we found out why Sasuke thought so. He isn't back to the way he was in part 1, we just saw why Naruto is the only one that is important to him.
