My guess is that Kishi made Naruto hesitate in mentioning Sakura as the girl he loves in order to surprise us with Naruto confessing to her in the following chapters. At least that's how I see it.

Apart from that loved everything especially Sakura's comment and it seems that she's starting to act more and more like Naruto she's showing her lighthearted nature even more around him  and that smile <3.

As for that last line Naruto stopped himself from saying Sakura's name  bc they are still not in a relationship he needs to confess but it obvious that Sakura is the one he considers as his girlfriend and while things are not smooth with some things (in general) he's trying his best  so brace yourself ladies and gentlemen  a confession is coming that much is clear Wohoooooooo!!! XD .

well, i doubt that he torn between Sakura and Hinata. otherwise she shouldn't have said that he will give his best.... Why? Because Hinata isn't a complication since she always loved her. While Sakura.... ell... it's a renown story...

I know. I was just explaining the reason of why the others were confused about the "girl" part.

It's Naruto's b-day, and I do think a NS moment will come. What better way for a hero to have his victory and on his b-day nonetheless? It's a perfect romantic situation just right there.

The whole goodbye speech by Naruto and just aghvhbvruvnkfvddchxz. It gave me all the feels, I WANT MINATO TO STAY FOREVER. 

 

And all the Tailed Beasts and Kurama was really cool. Seeing how far Team 7 has come is really awesome. Naruto and all his fancy jutsus, SAKURA with her Strength of Hundered Seal ( I think that's the term for it ) and Sasuke with his Rinnegan. I don't even know when that happened. I swear there will be a Sasukegan.

I have to admit I seriously laughed at Sakura's line, "After all that has happened, nothing seems to surprise me anymore. I'm pretty tired of it, honestly." Yeah Sakura, me too. You just spoke my mind, girl.

 

And I'm so not surprised at Kishimoto's ambiguity over Naruto finding a girl like his mother. I know both sides are going to fight over what that all means and Naruto saying that not everything's going the way Kushina hoped. Lol, well played Kishi. If I were more invested in the pairing wars, I would probably be annoyed, but meh, I'm just not all that concerned about pairings in the manga anymore.

Ouch, really? Then that must suck for some.    It's kind of obvious he was joking now, since he hesitated and wasn't confident this time around.

And if she was his girlfriend, he would have told Minato to tell Kushina that he had the girl like her. He didn't, which means they aren't together yet. OK so here's what I have to say about this chapter.

First of all I absolutely loved the fact that my bad feelings about The Rikudou declaring that Sasuke and Naruto should lead the world because only the two of them together can bring true peace, didn't happen. Thank God, that didn't happen.

Secondly I loved Sakura's statement. Because it was so real. It's like Kishimoto coming out and saying "Guys I admit nothing makes any sense anymore in my story, I know. Trust me I know. Now if it's going to get better? I don't know, probably not. Actually I can guarantee you that they won't."

Liked the Kurama-Naruto interaction. Kurama the ultimate tsundere.

 

However I still don't like the entire Kaguya "story". I still see no purpose in it. Seriously please anyone tell what was the purpose of introducing her and then giving her absolutely no backstory, no development, no motivations, no dialog, nothing really.

Seriously anyone? I mean besides dragging the story., why was she introduced?

Then we have Hamura, who again another character shoved in our faces with no backstory, no dialog, not even an appearance in real life or dead.

I still hope that this is not really the end and in the next chapter, Kaguya comes back but the chances of that happening after this chapter are very slim.
