I doubt the real Naruto got stabbed, he might be pulling another "Chuunin Exams Neji" surprise.
There is a possibility, he change places with his clone and hid underneath, playing peek-a-boo with Obito and Sakura

I know SS has always been one-sided, but the prospect of Sakura meeting Sasuke without Naruto or alone could undo her. The way Kishi is revisiting part 1 with naruto these past two chapter, I would not be surprise that her interaction with Sasuke alone might slightly bring back the fan-girl twelve year old Sakura. not 100% but some portion of it. To me, this will destroy Sakura's growth and development event if its just the slightest margin of her fangirl self returning. She's not ready to face him alone. i would rather have her take her chances against Kaguya.
I believe Sasuke's future betrayal and when he attacks naruto is going to be the key that she's finally over him.
He already did that with 632, we already got a reference so its time for some resolution for SS funeral.

To be honest, I don't really know what to think about these recent chapters. I'm talking like ever since the 640's/ 650's. It's not that I've hated them, I have just lost some interest in this long, drawn out arc. And it just takes forever for the plot to move along. All of the Big 3 have issues with this, but this arc, for some reason, is just taking extremely long to end. But of course, I'd much rather have a long, drawn out ending battle done correctly than a short one that is done wrong.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't say the arc isn't interesting, because it has it's moments. In fact, there was a whole block of chapters where I was really into it. They were the chapters right after all the Obito Flashback/ Naruto Talk-no-Justu stuff (which, to be honest, I didn't read that thoroughly), which was when Madara absorbed the Ten Tails, Naruto and Sasuke were on their death beds, and Gai unleashed the Gates. To me, all that was great. And then with the introduction of Kaguya, I sort of lost some interest again. Not all, but some, because I felt that Kaguya came a little out of nowhere. So, at this point, I'm kind of just waiting it out, because I think the real meat is the arc after this one.
Again, this is not, IMO, a bad arc by any means. All of this war stuff is pretty necessary, but I think it's just taking way too long. And people will probably defend it and say that there are some great moments, which there are! But unfortunately, all the moments lose their impact when there is so much (sometimes) unneeded length being added to this already long series.
Trust me, there aren't many Naruto fans that would defend the war arc. In fact, many call the arc downright bad. I myself am more aligned with you views, that the arc isn't bad; it's just ran for too long, and has it's share of flaws, particularly the pacing.

So.....what is becoming of Kakashi?

Does anyone have an idea on what he means at the end of the chapter?

AAA battery.

So what exactly is the Hagoromo and edo kage scene leading to? Because it looks like we're reaching the climax of this fight (with Naruto or Sasuke popping out of a kamui hole to seal Kaguya or whatever looks like where this might be headed)
the only thing left is NvS but what exactly does Hagoromo need to be there to explain to the kages? That they're reincarnations? Anybody there could have told them that.

Isn't that Sakura? I thought Kakashi didn't have enough stamina to become a battery.

There are bits and pieces of the war arc that I've liked, but as a whole I can't say I care for it. The slow pacing is a problem, but hardly the only problem, from my perspective.
The manga has become far too plot driven for my tastes, and the constant blame shifting is enough to make me nauseous; many things are just nonsensical and reek of plot convenience. And the recent introduction of destiny and reincarnation into the plot feel inconsistent with the previous themes of the story, at least to me -- not to mention the way it's been used to force feed the SasuNaru bond by giving it grand, metaphysical scale. Meh. It's all just dampened my enthusiasm.
But, anyway, just my opinion. At this point I'm just sticking it out to see how it all ends and try to enjoy what little bit of it I still can in the meantime. Like Sakura, if she ever gets to do anything noteworthy before the manga's over.

Nah, she's AA or maybe a C battery. She has more chakra. I think he has some. How about cheap off-brand AAA for Kakashi?

Oh come on, don't you think you're exaggerating? I am happy that Sakura will have some screentime, whatever the reason.

I hate it when Kishi uses chakra reserves as a plot device
No matter how many times a character spams the same attack over and over again recklessly in a fight at some point they're gonna say "This technique uses up alot of chakra so I can only do it once or twice more" or "I need the help of other people so they can be involved in the fight and make it look like they're doing something"
More than likely all 3 of them are still gonna go to where Sasuke is, unless Obito and Sakura decide to ditch Naruto as a disintegrating mass of meat.

Obito said neither Naruto or his clones remained in the central dimension. I don't think he's mistaken.

That doesn't make much sense since we see he's right in front of him, where would he even go? Kaguya didn't send him anywhere

I was hoping for a Sakura moment. I'll guess I'll just look forward to the next chapter for that... The conflict seems to be stirring up in this chapter.
Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.
Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.
I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

Whenever I finish reading all the reviews I finish a little listless to see everyone so pessimistic and worried.
I liked as Naruto shows his innate ability to surprise, to formulate plans when nobody expected much less of him, his plan is so good and unpredictable that even confuses the reader itself xD .
For me the question in this chapter is where is the real Naruto? ... Kishimoto seems to have played this game of hide the nut down 3 dishes course you do not know which is the dish that have the real one just that the nut is the real Naruto and dishes are the dimensions.
I should also mention again that I love the humanitarian sense of Sakura and compassion even by her own enemies, somehow also it makes you understand that phrase that Kakashi said before this battle "Sakura is that kind of girl" in the compassionate and kind sense despite any actions of the other person, as I said in NS discussion thread Sakura seems more concerned about Obito at this point, if indeed I can see their progress and development and see a Sakura thinking and worldwide concern and the situation rather than being a Sasuke fangirl ...
maybe that's why right now I'm not worried that her character collapse with Sasuke I know that Sasuke influence is devastating to any character and destroys any development to the point that ruin the mental health of anyone, but perhaps do need a leap of faith, believing in Kakashi sentence about Sakura and their duty to save Sasuke because it's that kind of girl and that despite whatever she still feel those feelings are very different.
Maybe I'm very naive but I believe in the structure of the plot how Kishimoto made a question to start and develop his response along the evolution of the plot makes me think that, wherever SS or ASS, I think I will step into the long way from the Sakura character to know what is in her heart, this road full of obstacles that makes the trip but does discover her feelings for Naruto and Sasuke. The verbal and physical abuse of Sasuke to her are not meaningless are there to challenge Sakura herself and her self-esteem and make her wake, I definitely think that Kishimoto is looking give a conclusion to it, I can perceive that intention from the start of the battle, Sakura was at a low point before, now she is in an intermediate point and hopefully will be in higher in the future.
