Sigh. This is a fact. We often want what we can't have. That's why the game of playing hard to get came about. Sasuke was an important part of her past and an important friend now, and that means it will never be easy to just say "done". If you say you care about someone, romantic intentions or not, and they don't seem to care about you, it hurts all the more, and you desire their attention more. Suck. But it makes sense. 

 

I wish Sakura was more than just a damsel in distress/ sacrificer. She deserves to be more, especially with all the WTF power ups some characters (not just Sasuke) get in the manga, why can't she be on par with the boys?

 

Kakashi should've left with Gaara... does that mean desu #2 for him?

 

Yup kishi was going to drag out the pairing drama further even if it does ruin the characters reputation more,i was right. 

 

As for being damsel and distress im sick and tried of that to but it was expected as always.

 

I didn't even read the chapter  im just really sick and tried until i see characters improvements rather than wavering between two love interests and the character able to stand up to her herione title.i will not be reading this manga. 

 

Don't get me i still love sakura but as of now i prefer BakeNeko-Chan and tricksie's sakuras character they seem to have far more respect for her character in ther fanfiction.

If Kishi doesnt break the rules everyone except for Naruto and Sasuke.
Kakashi was always vulnerable, Sakura despite having some resistance , tsukyomi is too strong, she might perceive is an illusion but getting out from that is another story.
Naruto has bijuu's sealed inside him.
Sasuke has rinnegan and mangekyou sharinga.

What an awesome chapter! 

 

Sakura is queen. She attacked head on, was stabbed and look at the amount of kittens she gives. Awesome!

 

And then Naruto comes to her rescue as always, catches her and touches her no-no parts even if unintentioinally, oh Kishi I see what you did there, was that a test drive? . Awesome²!

 

Lastly, Sakura finally seems to realize Sasuke doesn't give two sh*ts about her. *dies* 

 

I hope now with Tsukuyomi breathing down their necks Sakura show her genjutsu skills wich were never apparently developed.

What if the infinite Tsukuyomi brings you back to your childhood desires? Naruto, maybe hating on the villagers, Sasuke being in the Konoha Police Force, and Sakura, living a life without Naruto since she hated him?

Naruto might realize that he can never be consumed by hatred. Waking up from Tsukuyomi.
Sasuke might realize that justice can't be achieved by just being stronger. Waking up.
Sakura might realize how empty her life is and that she briefly remembers somebody with blond hair who was there for her. (Not necessarily in a romantic sense) Waking up.

Wow - what a good chapter. Can't decide which reason I like it more — because of Sakura in action, because of Sakura fulfilling Tsunade's jutsu, or because of the definite NS vibe throughout. A chapter where Naruto spends most of it with his arms wrapped around Sakura is a good one in my book!!

 

About Sakura's introspection about Sasuke, that he doesn't care: I think it's a red herring to make it look like she's still focused on their relationship. But to me, I think she has been given the role of watchdog of Team 7. She is watching Sasuke, suspicious of him and his motives. It's been shown over and over again, ever since his return. So I think here her words are meant to throw people off, have her still look like she's fawning over Sasuke, but really she's looking at him and realizing he's not working as a team. Naruto and Sakura's actions are to protect each other. But Sasuke is just charging in, and would be whether he was with them or not. I think her words mean she sees that Sasuke's still on his own. It's not about his feelings for her — he truly doesn't care about them. The choice of words is a red herring, relationship-wise.

 

And definitely, as merrygoflava and toasty pointed out, those Sasuke was going to cut her down with his sword in his attempt to get to Madara. It's there in his face, while Naruto is freaked out. So yeah...Sakura the teamwork is only a veneer. He's just as dangerous as ever. 

 

Hope Sakura's stab wound doesn't turn into something more deadly. And what exactly was she hit with? A flying rock?

 

edit: rikarim,  thanks for your comment! Yeah I cringed that she was being Hinata-fied. The only consolation is that Kishimoto has done this over and over again, to male and female characters, striking them down when the pull out their last, biggest, best line of defense. Rendering the whole effort pointless. Sakura and Hinata yes, but also Sarutobi (3rd Hokage) and Danzo. There's big buildup like it's going to be all fireworks, then...pop! It fizzles like a sparkler! Nothing happens! lol. But yeah, I feel your pain for sure.

I really think the future scenario is gonna turn up like the RTN. Sakura will realise her true feelings in that genjutsu world and when she wakes up from it, she'll know where her feelings truly lie. She herself would be over Sasuke romantically and the end result we all know, I need not tell you guys.

I said in the other post that this chapter will become a character power display chapter. It usually happen when you gain a power up.

Well, Talka bout beating a dead horse. SS just took TWO blows. Naruto was the one who grabbed sakura so technically HE saved her. and you have the part where sakura says that sasuke dosn't care.

I'm sort of getting this feeling that the next few chapters will be like Road to Ninja. Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke will be sucked into this dimensional world where they each get what they wish for in life:

 

Naruto becoming Hokage and walking down a path of maintaining peace, Sakura having Sasuke return to the village (with requited feelings, which I feel will be a disaster), Sasuke gaining power to accomplish his goals. 

 

I think the scenario will be the same as it was in the movie. Naruto will see the hardships of being Hokage, Sakura will most likely see how Sasuke is undeserving of her love / how Naruto has always been there for her, and Sasuke also becoming Hokage but leading a path of destruction. 

 

I think by the time they all come out of the Genjutsu, they will come out with new resolves. I can guarantee that Sakura will definitely have seen that loving Sasuke is not worth it and will begin to love and appreciate Naruto more afterwards.

 

I'm placing a bet on that and saying that this is what I'm thinking is going to happen.

Fair enough but no offense i think this has a little chance of happening because Naruto usually gets power from the desire to protect someone special to him not the other way out of anger .
