It was great. Having Naruto do a healing she can't right in her face. It was a giant Kiss My Ass moment to her character.And just when thought personal responsibility was dead, he resurrects it so he can murder it all over again. Not that what Madara did was a surprise, but it's so disappointing to see Kishimoto do that. There is Obito's redemption and he gets to die with an it's an all Madara's fault moment. And hey, if he lives, everyone has a scapegoat now.Maybe the manga's main theme should be blame shifting to designated a**holes.I can't even care about the pairing stuff because of those things just wrecked the chapter for me.

 
Lmao so true. Naruto and Sasuke, the heroes of this story, sure does reflect the story theme of "hard work".

Rock Lee? Sakura? They don't come from a clan so they don't count as "hard workers".

I wonder if people consider Obito to be redeemed just because Madara framed him? He did his kitten actions without knowing that he was framed so it doesn't change his thought process at that time. (Whether Madara planned it or not does not change the fact that Obito is a mass murderer, and have Rin died another way, Obito might have still turned out the same.)

 

I'm still angry with what Kishi has done to Sakura, I mean come on Kishi stop messing her up already with Naruto healing that's Sakura job not yours.

I didn't understand why people hated Sasuke saying that he got all these easy power-ups without even trying while Naruto had to work for it. Now I damn well understand them. Those despicable feelings people have towards Sasuke is EXACTLY what I'm feeling towards Naruto right now. kitten Kishi for making Sakura the 'degraded' version of Naruto. Unless Kishi can make Sakura have her own 'power-up' that Naruto nor Sasuke can do, NaruSaku can go down the drain for all I care.

While Kakashi was reminiscing, I just got the feeling like that this might be the prelude to his death. That he's bringing it all full circle for all of them before they go off to battle, a battle which he now may not return from. Especially with those eyes. 

 

The comments were vague enough as to please one camp (NS) while not entirely frustrating the other (SS). Eh, I don't know. I've always thought Sakura's confession was true. And I've pretty much felt SS was dead since, I don't know...he tried to kill her! lol But that's just me.  

 

And it's not over till it's really over — Kishi is perfectly capable of resurrecting fandoms with a few panels of closeness, so a last few ripples wouldn't surprise me either. But for me personally, I felt like SS, for Sakura's part, ended a looong time ago.

 

@ ramenanmistu and Nate - As much as I'm not completely thrilled with Naruto's god-like regenerative abilities, I'm more disappointed that Kakashi reflected on Sakura in terms of only what she said in that "I have a dream" flashback. She's so much more than just a fangirl! But he only touched on her and her feelings for Sasuke. "Sakura, you're a kind girl." *snort* She's a frickin' badass, Kakashi-sensei! It's disappointing that it's a line tailored for the fandom/audience, instead of having Kakashi reflect on the massive amount of personal accomplishments she's made. 

 

Naruto isn't the only one who's surpassed the Hokage. Sakura has too. But the message for her is still focused on her 12yo love life. What a bummer.

Well when even the author tells u so... Those of us who have been barking about this were ridiculed. Years later, this happens.

Oh don't remind me, when minato made that comparison last year, people went insane.

It's not our fault we actually looked at past and present material to make an educated guess with evidence that supported the (at the time) potential events we sought out and hoped would happen. We basically just made predictions with what we had, based in what the plot could allow that eventually led to events like sakura to Kushina years later and when these events occurred, people went ballistic.

We said sakura could thank naruto about saving the village from pain and she did.

We said in 630 that it was possible a sakura Kushina reference could be made, we were right.

We said in 660 that sakura would have some role in narutos extraction crisis given what Chiyo once told her and well she was a medic, we were right and well 662 and 3 was like a TKO to the gut if NH fans, it was almost ironically perfect, sakura helps, hinata faceplants, sakura supports narutos dream, and the CPR was just an added bonus, or good enough for the time.

Now some aspects of Sakura's feelings having changed for Sasuke more than ever directly rise, some think she still loves him but others know well just by character development that she has changed and this change can go further, weather they like it or not. We said for years she could change just in the aspect of development and maturity like the obvious learning the difference if ideal vs real love, by maturity.

All the other times, fans wanted either a hinata confrontation, hinata to be linked to Kushina, or hinata to go with sakura or sakura to be elsewhere.

I mean we were also wrong at times like 672 recently, but the whole relation of sakura to rin is just too close at this point, it's not even needed.

Personally chatte, I found the timing of your sakura power up theory last year just ironically hilarious to naysayers and sakura haters when she said she had more power in 630. Now that sakura may fight, i personally think that it's going to be just to a point beyond what tsunade displayed but by chance if there is a slug sage mode, or if the seal itself advances to it then kudos to your theory. I'm just going on the part of whatever we have seen tsunade do, only expect sakura to do it better to some degree as her limit. No question about it now though, sakura beats Kakashi but I'm sure Kakashi could possibly still use all his old copied jutsu. Though in retrospect there was always a fair hint of sakura surpassing tsunade here and there, Karin's powerup was more sudden in my opinion if you ask me.

When he first had Sakura say about her new power and healed the SA, she was pushed back again. When with Shika Tsunade and Naruto interfered, same. Now same with Kakashi. It feels intentional on his part...

It's amazing how different interpretations can get. SS fans are convinced this chapter somehow reaffirms Sakura's love for Sasuke and SasuSaku is canon, while everyone else is conviced of the contrary.

 

To me, it doesn't get any clearer other than Kakashi outright stating it's not romantic love anymore.

Okay, so Madara brought his manipulative actions to a whole new level. Sometimes it feels like he's playing The Sims with Naruto's universe lol.

Well, I'm really glad we can say SasuSaku is over and done with (most likely), but what Naruto bugged me a little too.
It feels like Sakura is losing her purpose within team 7, I just hope Kishi is planning something BIG for her.

lol well Kakashi became jounin and was praised to be a great ninja before having the sharingan.

I know it will be weird and i am not too fond of seeing him without one since i'm used to him having his sharingan.. anyhow it will probably have its perks and downside either way.

 

 

Its really amazing how a new chapter thread progress, i could only read the first page and the current one.

 

anyhow, the "controversial statements" from this chapter doesn't really give much than a confirmation that there is indeed a change in Sakura's feelings toward Sasuke.

Which I do not see as surprising, although its good to be pointed out straightforwardly.

 

But at this point, its not an absolute NaruSaku moment nor a win or whatsoever since nothing really changed or made things move forward. Sakura's change of heart towards the Sauce does not guarantee us 100% that it is Nardo who rules her heart romantically. This is just based on the current chapter, of course my NSheart believes she already loves Naruto deeply (but haven't fully acknowledged it).

 

What i'm saying is we have atleast another thing to look forward to next after this...

 

 

On another note, I really liked Kakashi's thoughts on Team 7... like a father who watches his kids lol

anyway Sakura's confession on the land of iron pops up in my mind again after reading this.

Among the group of Lee, Kiba, Sai, and Yamato... I think it was Kakashi who has a better grasp of what Sakura is feeling. When everybody was shocked, Kakashi's seems to know something already.

 

Let's just hope Nardo also comes to that conclusion too..

I think if it was relayed to him this way, he would begin to accept it...as he too knows that Sakura is kind, and that she will forever cherish people she loves. He just have to accept too that Sakura's feelings could change...or rather Sakura loving him (romantically) doesn't mean she does not love Sasuke, she still does but just not that kind..

I'm glad that the idea of Sasuke being shady is still a question that needs to be answered. Sasuke has no desire to answer and don't care. The last hint we got is creating something anew. A new what? Kishi left it unanswered for a reason. It has to do with Bijuu being eliminated, perhaps killing Naruto, and more. Hagoromo most likely got the answer but it was off-paneled, so the only clue we got is him only feel regrets for not helping Indra before hell breaks loose. That applies that Sasuke has something dark in his mind. Can't fool Sakura since she knows there's more behind it.

Whatever it is, now it's not the time. We got to wait more. Almost feels like this is the last for team 7 to be reunited since after this, well time to deal with Sasuke and perhaps his men. Right now, I hope for the final proper sendoff for Obito.

Actually, my ending theory doesn't have anything to do with either ship camp NS or SS.

 

I really think Sakura believes at this point that NH is a mutual thing. She's been shown witnessing their interactions on many every occasion. With the big eyes and the exclamation points and everything. 

 

I think when it comes to the end it won't be her chosing NS or SS — it will be her showing her love for Naruto the way he did for her, but stepping out of the way and letting him go after Hinata, even though it's killing her. Then Naruto will surprise her with a kiss on the forehead. 

 

So I think Kishimoto in the end is going to pull the rug out from under the team seven ship. (And that's the only reason I think NH and SS aren't quite finished yet - they're still needed to heighten suspense.)

This chapter came out but as a guy keeping his eye in ninja storm revolution, news came out just now with Kushina being playable in the game.

Chapter 675: Sasuke's Rinnegan
Obito used Kamui to save Sakura...he's in trouble, now that is alone with Madara!
Madara is the perfect master of manipulation, Obito was Madara's puppet all the time and Obito didn't realised that!
Now that Kakashi has no Sharingan anymore I look forward to see how "powerful" will be without it. (Madara took Kakashi's sharingan). Sasuke getting Rinnegan was soo predictable/obvious. Naruto is the new "Sage of Sixth Paths"...(the only way he can beat Madara)
Rin's death was Madara's plan all the time, well that was too obvious, just Obito was naive to find out. I wonder what Madara did to Obito...maybe made him change his mind and strike once again? I don't think so, since he just told him the truth behind Rin's death...
Maybe Madara killed Obito, who knows? But..no!

I'm not surprised considering how he never cared about training her. When the new team seven came back from Orochimaru's base, the only shinobi Kakashi cared to train was Naruto. He thought long and hard in his hospital bed how to make Naruto stronger. Did he give a single consideration to Sakura? No.

I understand what you mean but your posts show the pattern of Kishi neglecting Sakura, not the pattern of keeping Sakura in the shadows to display her super growth in the big fight.
