To be honest, I need one last clarification: what does the new power do exactly?

From what I understood he can see differently because of his sharinnegan, his speed increased and his chidori change color probably black or purple.

Unless if Naruto doesnt get the other half of Kurama and the other bijuus because i kind of dont believe that a single pair of eyes might stand equally against 9 bijuus plus senjutsu of the six paths.
That would be ridiculous.

Currently Naruto and Sasuke are on equal ground since both of them got half of the power however Naruto might get a powerup.

I'm not firm in my prediction. Really, what I am getting at is that the real fight, according to the story, is the metaphysical one. Whether Naruto beats Sasuke senseless is less important than he bring him back into the "right" way of thinking.

With out thinking to much at lease Naruto learned the kage bunshin no jutsu by him self.

Chidori i'll give him that he trained for that a bit but achieving the same speed and opening the gates as Lee in a few days or a week when Lee trained years for that is ridiculous and i put this on pair with the GRAND SNAKE ESCAPE (the whole fight actually) and  IZANAMI    OH i forgot Madara using Susano without eyes

Yes but how did Naruto get so fast to him ? Madara was surprised was it with FTG that's what i want to know . Or else what was the purpose for still holding the FTG kunai if he wasn't gonna use it ?

I just have to say i'm extremely tired of the hax from the Uchiha. Its ridiculous. At this point I'm not sure why Konoha was not completely wiped out by these haxters. Seriously, Madara just stops by Kasashi....thanks worm. Then boom instant power from an eye that he implanted in mid flight then gets cut in half, then still has enough senses about him to use kumai with a completely new eye that he has zero experience with to get to where Obito is and then attacks......OK. Kishimoto needs to take a serious look at his writing because its starting to stink. Not only that, now that Sasuke has what I call the Juubi eye he is on equal terms with Naruto and from what I can see slightly superior......right. His ridiculous writing is getting worse every week. Consider this fan annoyed. Now I sincerely hope that Sakura can get away from Madara by herself. I doubt it though considering the author. Kishi go home you're drunk.

I said before, perhaps Sasuke's rinnegan can see what madaras is able to? I'm just going on this because all of Nagatos and Obitos replicated rinnegan were connected. They had to have some modified sharigan or regular eyes to occur.

 

Otherwise I don't see Sasuke or naruto saving sakura in this one, I mean the Kamui dimension has only 2 keys and both are on one side now. It would just be either Obito saves her or sakura does something.

 

Its also likely naruto has access to the other tailed beast powers but I don't know if any have the power to gain access to a pocket dimension.

 

Let alone its not known if even a reverse summoning could pull one out of the dimension.

I predict that Madara will perform some bait-and-switch jutsu via Black Zetsu that will get him his Rinnegan back but give Obito his left eye back as well.

 

One way that Sakura could help out in the fight is that she can quickly kitten up the optic nerves of the Rinnegan eye in Obito's possession so that when the bait-and-switch happens, Madara will have a weaker eye. Sakura sure was taking her time with stabbing Obito's eye though. Then again, most people would be reluctant to stab somebody in the eye even if it meant crippling the bad guy's advantage. Plus Madara might've showed up faster than they thought he would.

 

I can't wait to see more elemental jutsu from Naruto himself. If Sakura gets a near death experience just like the boys, perhaps she might encounter the wife of Hagoromo? Not saying that this is going to happen though, my mind is just speculating on the possibilities.

So I know that everyone has way moved on but I'm going to do my initial review now. lol. Feel free to move on as the points I'm about to make have most likely already been discussed at length. I say this because the chapter has been out for less than 24 hours and we are already on page 13!

 

But anyways, here I go... my two cents;

 

This chapter... I liked. The fighting was very cool. Though I admit I had to read it more than once to understand what was going on. So instead of being a 2 v 1 fight it is really more of a 2 v 1.5 fight, seeing as Madara has his shadow self. But Naruto looked so cool with his two staffs. I approve!

 

I thought it was interesting to see Naruto and Sasuke interact. It first I was bothered by the fact that Naruto was still 'taking orders' from Sasuke after all that they have both done or been through, both the negative and positive. But the more I mulled it over the less I was annoyed and the more I was intrigued. I mean, it's like a day hasn't passed since they last worked together. They both reverted right back to the way things were when they were a coherent team 7. And I use the term coherent loosely. But it just seemed to solidify that although so much has happened their friendship is like not a day has passed. They can pick up right where they left off, at a friendly rivalry.

 

Did it make Naruto look weak? Maybe. But I think it was suppose to show us Naruto's trust in his friend. Naruto wants to be strong and he wants to be acknowledged by Sasuke which makes him annoyed that he is following Sasuke's lead. But despite that he is still going to listen to Sasuke because he trusts him. Then again, I could be reading way to far into this.

 

I think the tide will switch and by the end of this Naruto will be the one leading everyone to a victory.

 

Then we have Kakashi's eyeball theft! Whoa! I mean Madara tore it OUT OF HIS HEAD! I did not see that coming! However, I have to admit I really wanted to see what Kakashi looked like after that. And then Madara pops it in like it is nothing. I blame Hashirama for that being a piece of cake. Poor Kakashi! I hope he gets an eyeball. TT_TT

 

But to make it crazy worse Madara then pops in on Obito and Sakura! SURPRISE MOTHERF----R!

 

Sakura's trying to take out Obitp's eye, and I'm over here like "Hurry up! Hurry up! He's coming!" But she wants to be all precise and kitten because it's a medical procedure. Whatever, Obito's dead anyways. Right. Right?

 

And we have a last panel of impending doom and I'm over here with my mouth gaping open. Please! Please! Don't hurt my baby girl Sakura!

 

But honestly I think she'll be fine. I mean Obito is there and Naruto, I think, can be there in a flash. No Rin thing is going to happen again. Right. Right?

 

What I really want to happen (but will most likely be the furthest thing from happening) is Sakura will get a moment to shine! One can hope! But I'm really excited to see how this next chapter goes.

@ Rocci its not granted Sakura will get another powerup, really the best we can anticipate is her unleashing the strength of 100 seal Tsunade has but be stronger with it than she was.

 

It is a bit unfortunate we get a cliffhanger for a moment thats going to be quickly done in the short time of the first couple pages of the next chapter. I mean with WSJ on break next week, doesn't this mean that the next chapter should be out on may 6th then? Don't they usually release a day earlier after a week break?

 

Really the whole situation just brought out possibilities of obito saving sakura or taking the hit, sakura being struck or enduring it.

 

Its really viable to many things but in outright battle, unless sakura does have something stronger than what tsunade was using against madara her new strength wont be enough. I mean the only ways out for her now are obito sending her away or madara taking her hostage. Basically no matter what happens, things are not ideal for sakura or obito.

 

But its just the obito deal seems the most likely. Him reacting to prevent a whole case of Rin's death again, if he couldn't save her but he manages to save sakura, isnt that part of his redemption? Kishi has made it clear that there are parallels in this series, the whole stuff with the sages sons is just the pinnacle of this stuff. Obitos tragedy and cause to go all evil was because Rin died wanting to protect the village. He couldnt save her nor stop kakashi. Saving Naruto was one thing, but if he saves Sakura isnt that another deal of redemption? Back when naruto was still down, around chapter 663 many still thought she had chiyos technique but despite this, there were better reasons to resort to the rinne tensei if it came to something further involving one characters life for another. The situation is still very much the same here, killing sakura does nothing, obito is granted to die at anypoint but not without some event that leaves his mark on madara, healing naruto was one of those events, but saving sakura by taking the hit/sending her away leaves him with madara to do something else. I doubt kakashi will get the left rinnegan, but if he did then well maybe he could be the only normal human who uses the rinnegan.

 

I mean there is one thing to guarantee right now, Sakura isn't going to die ASAP even if she were hit, she isnt going to just go thud, some other events would occur, but even if she were wounded, I still see it as a viable possiblity she would be taken out of there, not left to bleed in the dimension. Otherwise there are many lifelines for sakura. I don't see Sasuke saving her, even then this wouldn't fully you know, erase the stuff from 635 or change whats been shown in the past couple chapters.

 

also I'm otherwise not bothered by sakura needing a save again, I mean in many cases, she has been in a situation where she needed saving because well, in these situations she has been outmatched.

 

Garra was the first, not much she could do on her own

Sasuke was the second of these, he was too powerful for her but we know it was a tough position for her given the land of iron stuff that happened

Now this is the third with madara, seriously its just madara is well the top dog, how can people expect someone not to need help against him? Sakura doesnt have a marvelous reserve power like the 8 gates nor do we know if she has a reasonable powerup in wait to merit enough to hold madara back.

 

The only time sakura was caught off was from the juubi clones, but that was one time. I dont get why people need to make a deal about her always being saved, I mean wasn't naruto the one in danger just a few chapters ago? She wasnt the main savor but she did help him. Not to mention its just whats wrong with being saved, that doesn't make sakura weak, its just a bad series of setups on kishi's part and yet theres always been some lifeline nearby. If naruto was the savor in the stuff with gaara and sasuke, then perhaps now its obito.

 

Its funny, though it hasn't been offical, a Sakura-rin parallel has been swinging back and forth for the past few months, we thought one would come when naruto talked to obito at the end of their fight but it didnt. We thought one could come in the saving naruto event. It didnt, now we get a situation where sakura is targeted, isnt this an indicator that if Obito does manage to save sakura that he wouldnt want a repeat of what happened with rin? Maybe its too ideal but otherwise it still makes sense. Obito still has a few things left to do but just dying over like before when BZ was in control isnt the full case. If Sakura isn't just going to die, Obito isnt either. Sure chaos will happen next chapter, one gets hit or sakura manages to endure it but its just that, she has a lot of stuff keeping her safe, mainly the stuff that lies ahead she would otherwise be needed for, even if it just made her reduced to romance material as some others feel she is, its still a role that would be needed along with the stuff involving sasuke. Hinata cannot exactly fit into the sasuke side of things now can she? Sakura for the most part is going to be safe, obito is still granted to die at some point. It just doesnt solve anything for her to die when theres still otherstuff she has thats been set on her already for the future. Obito is an anytime now one but his actions to go out are where theres more merit, he saved naruto so saving sakura is a big chance to occur.
