I don't think we're going to get a straightforward NS moment after NS recovery in the next chapters, even in flashback. (Possibly at the end though, in a big flashback acknowledging how Naruto has always cared for her.)
 
Instead, I think maybe NS might be paralleled in a discussion between Sakura and Obito. Him recognizing Rin in Sakura, and Sakura recognizing how you do things and change yourself for the one you love. Something like that.
 
I think there is a greater chance of a Obi/Rin-Naru/Saku parallel than there is a straight-up NS interaction (in flashback) in the upcoming chapters. I think leaving Sakura (Rin's parallel) with Obito (Naruto's parallel) sets it up. I think it's highly likely now that Naruto has gone back into the fight and left them alone to talk.

Neither. If there was an opportunity, it has passed. Flashbacks have their place but Kishimoto is overly dependent upon them and I don't what to see it used for a scene that could very easily have been done in "real time." I think it's difficult to justify that.

As for Obito/Sakura, I don't want to hear Obito whine about Rin again. He came across as so pathetic that, to me, he has no credibility and I have no interest whatsoever in hearing him talk about the subject as if he some new insight to provide the audience.

Things seem to go to hell when I'm not paying much attention... I'm too lazy to read back on what others posted, but I just say that after a while, I've come to accept this chapter for what it is (even if it rushed the return far to fast). Maybe will get a flashback (oh no) of how Naruto got here XD

You got it backwards. I'm saying panel placement is meaningless and that people give too much importance to these nonsense theories.

1-I was referring to the SS argument, when Sakura confessed to Sasuke.

2- I wasn't even talking about the parallel/ panel part, it's just a feeling I got after reading your responses lately.

Hey, at least I am not being so pessimistic right now and already jumping ship due to such little faith all because you are whining you didn't get exactly what you wanted. Hell, by the way half this forum acts, even when you get EXACTLY what you want it is not good enough.

I know the mods and admins hate when I say something like this, but I mean if you hate this manga so much or don't like the way it is going....stop reading it. You don't have to buy it or follow it. It is your choice. And please, spare me the whole "Well, you're just delusional" speech because it is not going to work on me. I could say you are just delusional from being too negative all the time.

Seriously, if you hate it...stop reading it. I hated Gurren Lagann after Kamina was killed so stopped watching that anime a long time ago. I hated Fruits Basket's writing after volume 11 so I stopped reading that as well. There are many more I could list.

I believe a strong feeling that something will be revealed related to this down the road. I feel it because Kishi has done it before and chances are he will keep doing it til the very end.

This is one thing NH have that we don't. Sure they may be delusional from time to time, but at least they are optimistic.

 

Pessimistic? Heh........... Yeah, I guess I can be pessimistic sometimes but I can at least admit it to myself. And Despite how I may convey my feelings sometimes I do love the idealism and optimistic side of things in the series, I really do. I enjoy balance in things. To see the misfortunes and cold cynicism as well sickenly sweet ideals that Naruto portrays. Besides I also read dark fantasy and tragedy genres to balance out the pure goodness and Idealism of Naruto too. Which is also why my love of Fullmetal Alchemist matches my love of  Naruto. Black Butler (Kurokittensuji) and Future Diary (Mirai Nikki) are two good examples. Anyway James Believe me, I share your sentiments completely. I read Naruto cause I genuinely enjoy it, but do not deny its flaws.

I have to agree with James, there have been some really rude and pessimistic posts lately, which seriously make it unpleasant for me to come here and enjoy the chapter discussion. The attitude some of the users have been having are really starting to annoy me. Nothing happened and here it seems it's the end of the world.

Stop complaining and take a break from this manga if you don't like if. I would like to continue enjoying it in peace, thank you very much.

The only thing that is making it unpleasant here is the amount of non-Naruto/Sakura related chatter.

 

I don't know what makes people think that they have the right to judge and then condemn the mere tone of other users' posts, simply because they may not agree with you. You don't. And I'm tired of coming on the board only to see one user putting down another, in the guise of "chillax."

 

These posts are basically bullying. When people don't feel like they can comfortably share their honest opinions — be it optimistically, realistically, cynically or otherwise — then we all have a problem.

 

Let me make this crystal clear: Everyone is free to post their opinion, any opinion, as long as it not bashing of other users, characters or fandoms. 

 

With as much complaining about negativity there is, a telling factor in this being a non-issue is that no one is reporting problems. 

 

Constructive criticism is fine. There is a thread specifically made for site discussion: the Mod Q&A. Use it. If you truly have the best interests of the site at heart, you'd be posting there instead of hi-jacking the chapter/debate threads.

 

The mods/admins work hard to make this a fair and safe environment for every user, regardless of their ship. Continuously posting pointless complaints hurts everyone on the site. 

 

If you have a problem, if someone is personally bashing you, then report it.

 

Otherwise keep the discussion focused on the manga.

in a chinese forum they're already releasing the first 3 pages of each manga of next wsj issue... Naruto hasn't still arrived but expect its 3 first pages of chapter 673 in a short time... When the time will arrive, I will open the thread.

I feel like a dork for thinking it was the sun, lol.  Not being terribly schooled in Chinese philosophy, despite the obvious themes in this manga my mind doesn't automatically go to yin and yang.  Derp.  I'm just a clueless Westerner, I guess.  

 

However, I don't think it was super stupid to think of the sun.  Considering Naruto's chakra has been described as warm and bright, and Sasuke's as dark and cold, sun and moon (respectively) didn't seem laughable or nonsequitur.

 

But I shall crawl back under my rock now.

Really ? This is surprising me but it's true.

Though Naruto is often linked to the sun if I remember well, I think that's why so much fans believed it the sun. Anyway thank you for thoses precisions that helps a lot. All was written in the manga and yet we skipped it LOL
