I got the same feeling as well. 

 

Sakura's last panel was directly placed after the talk about Sasuke's real intentions. 

Why oh why would Kishi put a panel of Sakura there?

 

I don't think she's going to die, but I do think she is going to be involved in some plan regardless of whether she wants it or not. 

 

Also, Sakura is probably one of the biggest pain in Sasuke's plan. Sakura is the only character who has never really trusted Sasuke.

1. Academy fight of Naruto & Sasuke, Sakura went, "!" after Sasuke's face went dark. 

2. Forest of Death

3. Sakura is the only one who knew Sasuke would leave the village, while Kakashi and Naruto had faith in him

4. Sakura is the only one who decided to kill Sasuke first, while Naruto wanted to save him, and Kakashi was reluctant to kill him 

5. When Sasuke appeared, Sakura was not trusting him. "Why are you here?" 

 

If Sasuke wants to be Hokage, Sakura is most likely going to be in the way. She is never convinced or trusting of Sasuke's "good intentions".

That is the translation for mangastream, so I am sure Katsuya was going to say Tsuande is very proud of you instead of dying. She also says "will" meaning tsunade is still alive.

I think Sakura's face on the last panel is  related to the talk between Sai and Juugo . I think that was specially made to show her being suspicious about Sasuke  , because even though Naruto's reaction is not shown , he already knows  Sasuke's real intentions since he can sense them being good or bad  in his current mode . I think that Naruto senses Sasuke's evil right after the latter turns on his Susanoo for the attack which would explain Naruto's yelling at him looking more angry rather than worried

Ok, I feel like I'm close to convinced that Sasuke is turning heel. The more I read it, the more I see why this chapter was created this way. When Naruto flashbacked that talk with Yamato, I feel like Kishi did it because this is the last time we will see them as a team, but now....well, it's time to see the truth.

Oh yeah. Same here. We called it from the time he said, "we join the fray" there should be an interesting twist happening soon. I have no Idea what his agenda is sending orchimaru, to tsunade. But I do see him doing something drastic, and turn heel too. And I think Sakura realizes this. But i do see the the juubi Transforming one more time and i do see sasuke aligning him self with madara. i think he Will play a Part in defeating Madara just so he can take the lead in this Plan of there.
It's gotten really interesting god why do these chapters have to be so short Nd why do we weeks have to last so Long gahhh. -____-.

I can't see where this conversation could go in the middle of this war, everything is done in action and not in talking at this point. At this very moment I am very worried about sakura because I feel as though she might die sacrificing herself for Naruto. However, I also believe she will later be revived by the power of the rinnegan from obito.

This is a little late, but I actually really liked this chapter a lot. I actually like Sakura's role in healing everyone, because it reflects her taking over, just like Tsunade did in the Pain arc.  Naruto and Sasuke's combo was epic, and we saw our forsaken Yamato in a flashback!!!  But my favorite part was actually the darker stuff, the suspicion of Sasuke and the possible plot twist in the future.  I have known for a while that Sasuke wasn't "good", and that he would turn on them.  The question was, at what time would he do it? Can't wait for future chapters, and these last chapters are making me the most excited I've been in a while.

 

However, it is honestly going to be so hard to read the chapter when Naruto finds out Sasuke's true intentions. He will be heartbroken. As for Sakura, surprisingly, I'm not too worried. Judging by her reactions to Sasuke thus far in the war (outside of that "Sasuke-kun" that i'm pretty sure was just nostalgia), she seems to be suspicious of him.  Especially that last panel of her.  Given that it was inserted directly after Sasuke's intentions were questioned, I can only think that it has do with her doubting him as well.

 

Regardless, I see a plot twist in the near future, most likely having to do with Sasuke's intentions.  Someone in this forum already brought this up, but I think it would be very interesting if that when Sasuke said "Burn it down", he was referring to the wooden barrier holding the Juubi, rather than the Juubi itself.  That is very interesting, and it would really cause a lot of trouble. 

 

One other thing to note was Sakura's tear.  It is ambiguous, but I assume that it has to do with Sasuke and/or Naruto.  It is implied she was looking at Sasuke, and a lot of people would think that it was more of a "joy that Sasuke's back with them fighting" tear.  But, I don't know, because if that were the case, it would kind of clash with the later panel of her, going from happy-ish to more suspicious.  I don't know, it just didn't sit right with me.

Sakura will definitely be a thorn in Sasuke's plan. Sasuke will need to get rid of Sakura and her suspicions concerning him, which might lead to either 1.) a SS moment(Sasuke "acting" nice to her) or 2.) a battle.

Sorry, I meant that Naruto must defeat Sasuke because he would do something bad that Naruto couldn't forgive never him... Well, the point is that Sasuke has something in his mind and neither Juugo nor probably other of team taka are awake of that.

 

There some prospects.

-Sasuke has intention to become the Juubi's jinchuuriki

-Sasuke has intention do sacrifice himself for the sake of the world

-Sasuke has intention to betray Naruto and the Alliance

-Sasuke has intention do kidnapp Sakura in order to get Naruto in troublesome

-Sasuke has intention to talk with Madara

Crap, I quoted the wrong one. Lol. The one I wanted to quote is when you mentioned 616 color chapter. Yeah, I do think it was a foreshadow and we may see it happen. This latest chapter color was just the current time, so it's only showing what's now, not fanservice or a hint of the future. To make matter worse, in SJ, there was a magazine with heroes/villains and Naruto/Sasuke respectively were in it. I know since Don Flamingo was listed and if you know the manga now, you know it's true. Now, well, it's near to see where Sasuke is going.

 

Hmmm , Naruto don't seem suspicious about Sasuke, but Sakura is...

It seems that Sasuke have ulterior motives, and im starting to wonder if he will backstab or attack Naruto when he dosesn't attempt it.

 

If that happen , I could totaly see Sakura protecting Naruto ( because she know something is up with Sasuke) and then kishi would bring back the quote from Chiyo ( Protect someone who is very important for you , not an old granny )

 

If Sakura is hurt badly or dead, Naruto would go crazy after Sasuke 

Actually, Naruto could be the one that really naiive and let the feeling of being together overtaking him, because he actually flashback to something that made him happy to see it happen, not just power, but bond. Actually, I remember long time ago I thought maybe Naruto knows. Here's how. Remember he told Sakura that more are still coming in 631, right? That "more" is Sasuke and others, but Minato tells him what's obvious but saying, "Don't worry, he's on our side," made Naruto questioned himself. I feel like he might read that Sasuke still has darkness with his sensor during RKM. So you can say he was confused when his dad told him he's in their side. I guess it could explain that he was the only being serious during Sasuke's speech. Maybe. Who knows.

 

Before I keep reading anymore post I just want to say this.

 

1- Like everyone else mention Sakura is crying out of joy.

 

2- Sai's referring to Sasuke's declaration of wanting to be Hokage so he ask Jugo if he also hear what Sasuke said and what he thought about it, Sai was not talking about Sasuke born Sasuke and Naruto are not that close to the Rookies for them to hear that.

 

3- Sasuke really have something in mind the question is what?

Just the fact that he told the good guys that he doesn't care what anyone else thinks about him is all I need to accept that a fight between him and Naruto will happen in the end.

 

4- Sakura could be thinking about Sai's and Jugo conversation or she could be thinking about Tsunade's condition since after her panel we have Orochiaru arriving to Tsunade's location.

Actually, Sai did hear what Sasuke said just now. Because that panel "Burn it down" is heavily played because of the shades and how big the panel was. Not only that, but Sai wasn't even there with "I'll be the next Hokage". Not to mention, the panel with Sasuke's face happened after the nice victory war cry, so something is up. Lastly, the way Sasuke's art becomes shadier is already suggesting that he is hiding and it's possible that something is coming next. Remember Sasuke had a normal face throughout the whole reunion, but when he said that line, the real Sasuke was showing and it's not good, especially when Sakura's mood changed. We didn't see Naruto's reaction, but don't be surprised if he sees something wrong as well.

It has been clear that sakura does not trust sasuke since he entered the war. The panel of her crying most likely implies that she is happy her boys are working together, and possibly for the last time. It was not just towards sasuke because its simply a little weird to apply it that way. However, it seemed sasuke an juugo's words triggered something In sakura and made her realize what sasuke is really up to. This could either lead to a fight between naruto and sakura vs. sasuke or (unlikely) sakura's death as a sacrifice to save naruto of what sasuke is planning.

I do find a slight hilarity in that some characters can hear things while being far away, while at other times they can't even hear things when they are right next to them. Vice-versa at times too. The power of story telling.

I just thought of something, but yes, it is somewhat stupid because Sakura could not be jinchurick the ten tails? I'm not have really a theory, only looks cool to think. I mean, Mito, Kushina and Rin was jinchuuriki and all are parallel with Sakura.

I don't think he's gonna necessarily "turn against them" considering it was never stated he was on their side to begin with. Sure, he plans on apparently becoming Hokage but other than that, nothing was really shown when you think about it. He doesn't give a damn what the opposing individuals feel about him taking such a position. I wonder what his methods are gonna be when it comes to gaining such a position, and how he'd handle Konoha. Right now, they're fighting the same enemy. 

 

Regardless of that, I wonder what Sakura's thinking right now. Surely, she's happy about him fighting with both her and Naruto, but really, she's been deceived by him before. Surely, Kishi won't toss the moment in the Summit to the wayside when he was about to kill her twice without hesitation. It's all pretty damn crazy. He acknowledges her just recently, but he tried to kill her before... But then, he also didn't give a rats ass about Karin also. His character is a real mess. LOL

Hmmm, very suspicious... Why was Sakura crying?

 

I'm guessing tears of happiness of seeing Sasuke and Naruto working together with her supporting them...take away all the possible romance links ultimately, Sakura see's Naruto, Kakashi and Sasuke as part of her family, but even more imprtant than that is that she knows how much Sasuke means to Naruto, so seeing them together insync even after so many years was enough to put tears in her eyes.

 

Now we'll have to wonder how they will get screwed over by Sasuke, why is Beast boy just standing there? He has the physical strength with his Sage abilty to destroy the little clones yet he is standing there, and considering he's devoted to serving Sasuke it is suspicious to say the leasy...or maybe it's just wishful thinking from me still being unable that a decade of built up anger and conflict would be wiped so quickly, afterall Kishi himself said that h expects the manga to run for another three years atleast when he was interviewed last year , but as it stands the manga will end before the year ends as I don't see this battle and Kakashi's two more years.
