Ok..... but if NH fans do the same thing, how would you react??? it's another reason why I'm sick of the pairing wars. So if NH side makes fun of us and we're offended, then why should we be making fun of them?? Hypocritical?? double standards?? you choose.

They make fun of us because of how lackluster there "OTP" really is and because of how insecure our fans can be... we make fun of them because they don't know what the heck their talking about half the time. Pretty big difference if you ask me and in reality, we rarely do it unless they force our hand

The best part about Sakura's speech was that it covered two major bases. Both her and Shikamaru would try to take charge of some sort (which is why both of their silences were so odd in 615). Here, Sakura motivates, and what does Shikamaru do? Take charge.

That's how it's done.

I think this is a good chapter because while its not full on NS, it was great to see stuff from Sakura saying that they are in the midist of this crisis and they need to do whatever they can, and even if they failed, its better to go down fighting. Its also good just due to the set-up, I mean Minato is literally right there! only 10 or so feet from them! He most likely will turn to see his son's face, and who do you think he will also see with him? Sakura! This is an interaction we thought would never come true but guess what? Minato is right there and will see Sakura with Naruto. Unless Minato just keeps facing forward, and Naruto walks up or something, then that kills the meeting stuff.

Well aside from that, if the jubbi or only the beast bomb was warped away, Naruto has time to talk to Minato very quickly. Still no telling whats happening on the clear view of things because the team 7- edo hokage and taka interaction will start soon, but its only begun with Minato. NS has a very potential point in the start of the next chapter. If Minato even thinks of Kushina looking at Sakura, guess what? Thats a parallel confirmed! We may have an iron binding moment for NS in the next chapter, so its a good reason for some to be excited. Unless kishi pulls a troll or just jumps to another scene then we are stuck waiting for a bit. I mean he could just again leave this as a cliffhanger and jump back to the edo hokage and taka or do something else, maybe even show if they split up. But I'm betting its Naruto-Minato interaction next chapter. Hopefully a bit of Minato-Sakura interaction.

Sakura won't die but you think that Minato would give HER the other half of Kurama's chakra or something else would be set up for her?

Not sure about that, but the set up for the next chapter is just too good, I mean I have no been this excited since the hug after pain.

I'm happy because...
1. Minato and Sakura were important in the chapter titled, "What can fill a hole".
They proved it with their actions as well.
2. What Kakashi is telling Obito, and what Sakura is doing are completely paralleled.
Gives me hope that there might be an oncoming Kakashi and Sakura development finally.

I believe they're assuming that restoring someone's chakra requires the expenditure of an equal amount by the healer. That was never mentioned or implied IIRC. Sakura's chakra reserves should remain unchanged

Well in order for the other fighter to fight, so to say, he has to have his chakra reserves stored up to normal. Even if you're healthy if your chakra is gone there's nothing you can do.
So I fairly believe she has to also give chakra, same as sustaining a jutsu.
She has to give from hers to whoever the target is. Same as Tsunade helped Onoki to make that big-scale Jinton.

So good. Loved that there wasn't a Hinata panel to balance it out. Finally!

You know, I think he did that to tweak the fandom. If it were me, I would totally write panels with no pairings significance, but would collectively make the fandoms convulse like that did. I thought it was great from that stand point.

If I had an overserious fanbase when it came to an issue like that, I'd include minor tweaks like that when I could.

And the last page, as others have said, was a head-scratcher. How did Naruto know? Sort of makes you wonder if he's showing off for Sakura, just like when he dropped in on her with the kyuubified chakra cloak. No one else would have heard that comment except for her.

So...does the return of Minato also mean the return of Sasuke? Hmmm...can see all sorts of trouble coming from this.

But right now I'm too happy about the NS and the appearance of Sakura to care!

My favorite part of the chapter is Obito and Kakashi. The dialogue suffers from some of the same stuff as before where he tries to sound deep, but to me...just doesn't make it. It's not bad, but it could be better. That said, I love that Kakashi is essentially speaking to him as if he is five and throwing his own words in his face.

Naruto always appeared to talk past Obito and I was always disappointed in their conversations. This is signfiicantly better.

As for Sakura: I enjoyed her interaction with Naruto and her speech. I enjoyed that, at least for a moment, she was more than window dressing and did something before just disappearing. I worry people are reading too much into this as a pairing thing because it really isn't to me. Nevertheless, it's enjoyable for what it is (a nice NaruSaku and Sakura interaction) and I'm content to leave it at that.

Minato's appearance is a mixed bag. I agree with others that this probably means Sasuke is nearby. The good part is that it probably means that Sakura won't fade away again. I just think the fandom won't like how she reacts. I don't think 540 was an isolated incident. However, for me all I as ask for is plot relevance that doesn't stomp on the story line. I'll worry about pairings after she does stuff because up until now it had been too long since she did stuff.

However, I do worry about the Kages appearance. Their involvement doesn't sit well with me, but I want to see how it plays out before I decide if there is anything to my concern.

Also, have to confess, I totally skimmed Shikamaru's wordy-words panels. Ugh. Just do your thang and get back to Naruto and Sakura already!

Well Sakura is doing her job as a medical ninja, she may be somewhat tired, but her perfect control makes it so she never wastes any. She will be fine, Sakura is a main character too, remember she will be fine. Sakura is right there with Naruto, Minato is right there in front to them.

Also saw that youtube video, honestly that forever guy, he literally acts as he looks (missing a few teeth) I saw him explain "You are not Hinata, its NaruHina time."

Wow surprised he never mentioned how involved Hinata was with the story. But I can't say I'm surprised still most likely as with most NH fans, ignoring the other side of the argument and just assuming. Serioulsy, if Naruto never showed any wavering feelings towards Sakura or more in Hinata, nothing can be proven.

I can only imagine if the Minakush parallel is confirmed next chapter, imagine his reaction.

Give it a rest mate, we're all just enjoying the show and each of us is entitled to our opinion. Spread the love ;p

I have no problem with that, but if we have to stoop ourselves to mocking the opposite fandoms, then you can count me out of that "fun". If we win, all I'm going to say is "told you so" and kick back and relax.

The problem is this. The mods want to create a community where we accept all pairings and be tolerant of other pairings. tricksie has said it word-for-word in the council hall. If we want to create a tolerant community towards other pairings, then one of the first things we should do is to not openly mock the other fandoms. If NH fans are mocking us, just walk away and don't let it get to you. If you can resist the urge to mock them back, then you have my utmost respect. If you don't, well, that just proves you still have a long way to go to maturity.

The mods wants us to be the better fandom by not stooping to mocking or name-calling other fandoms. 'Cause that what we all want, right?? to be the better people in the fandom. Look at Gandhi for heaven's sake, the English openly mocked him, and yet he still stood by his beliefs that he would not respond to any sort of childish behavior or violence. Instead he simply, peacefully wishes the best of their health and denounces any sort of violence instigated by his fellow Indians. It's this principle of Gandhi's that made him so revered around the world. (I may be using the wrong figure, but you get my idea)

Same should apply for us. We shouldn't be fighting fire with fire. If they're mocking us, then don't mock them back. Why the hell should we care?? They are they, we're different. Gandhi gained everyone's respect by being a better person than them. Even now, the English who derided him many years ago now openly respect and admire him. Don't we want people (neutral fans or people from different anime/manga fandoms) to remember us the way people remembered what Gandhi was??

Don't we want members here finish the manga and "quit" the fandom here and have a memorable impression the same way people had of Gandhi's??

@Slex: if you want to have a much more enjoyable experience, then you should do so without resorting to mocking the fandoms. Mocking is bashing. That's the way I see it. And you call my criticisms ridiculous?? you're saying, that the fact I called you out on mocking the other fandoms is a ridiculous criticism?? and the fact you twisted Hinata's moment to make our pairing favorable the same way NH fans does with Sakura is a ridiculous, baseless criticism not worth calling out on?? I have now seen everything from this fandom. Thank you *sarcasm*.
