Orochimaru imho won't be a villain....

He still needs to be dealt with somehow. He can't just slither way. Or he can but I hope not.

Bolded: I don't like the way how Madara commented on Hinata's strength to Obito. This right after Obito saw with his very own eyes how Naruto had a moment with her.

Question: When Ino is talking with her father, we're shown a panel with Ino protecting Sakura from her bullies. But, iirc, Ino met Sakura when she was alone, crying by herself. She didn't even know who Ino was (she said "Who are...?) and the very next day, Ino gives her a ribbon for her hair. Later, Ino defends Sakura when the girls are all picking flowers and the bullies notice her showing her forehead. So, when could that flashback have taken place...?

Oh well. I'm just over thinking it. I've always liked the idea of Ino standing protectively in front of Sakura like that, anyway.

the question mark is this "でしょ" (japanese language doens't need a question mark to formulate a question) Anyway, if you ask me, I can say that Ino makes an uncertain speech... that "でしょ" expresses a doubt which usually it has written under a question mark in other languages... Hope I was clear here ^^"

I'm pretty sure in this case it's Neji who was 'Rin'. It wasn't an exact parallel but pretty clear imo.

Doesn't really make sense for someone else to die again so soon to shatter Naruto just after he pulled himself together. Maybe if it drags on more, yes, but not now...Neji just died and reinforced that message. Doubt there will be any gratuitious Hinata/Rin thing going on.

In any case, the raw kanji Madara uses when he refers to Hinata just means 'young woman', if I'm not wrong

Yeah, I'm seriously hoping that Neji is the only Rin candidate around. We don't need any more of those.

If you're saying that scene expresses doubt from Ino's part than I agree.

And IMO it's the same context with Sakura back in 540.

Both panels are expressions of doubt. And to me both characters are starting to move away from their feelings.

It's like I said back in chapter 615. It doesn't need to be like a threat thing. Another way to show it is when Obito is about to die. Imagine this. Kakashi and Obito talks before he dies. Obito takes a look at Naruto as Naruto is being healed by Sakura. Then, he image his head that they remind him of his old days. He will smile and then, die. Possible? Yes it is. Will it happen? Time will tell.

Well, yeah. Madara directly puts Hinata in the spotlight for Obito. Obito is getting pissed off. Sakura is nowhere around. If Obito lashes, who will he target if his intention is to make Naruto feel the pain of losing some "Rin"? He can't target Sakura, if he can't find her. Hinata looks very much like Naruto's love, after the latest chapters. Obito might well strike at her, whether Naruto truly loves Hinata or not.

I just realized that Ino hasn't even seen, much less met Sasuke since he left. She even remembers the younger Sasuke.

For some reason i do think that the fact Sakura got bullied when she was younger may be the reason why Naruto fall in love with her, because look at them they both get bullied.
