Whoa you're right she does look like she's a combination of Yuri and Milla. And I don't know why but just looking at her it reminds me of Erza from Fairy Tail so I guess the best English voice actress for her will be Colleen Clickinbeard.

 

I think it's the sharp eyes and free flowing hair with fringe and confident pose, give her that air of confidence and self belief similar to Erza.

I other news Bamco Asia accidently listed Zesteria for PS4 and PC as well as PS3, not sure if this is was a typo, but it's probably not a mistake as it is from the official website, and it quickly got removed so likely some truth in it.

Well Zesteria has officially been announced for the PS4 and Steam. October 16th confirmed release date for PS consoles and October 20th for Steam, dissapointed with the delay, so much for within six months off Japan release. The worst time for release as well, as it's the period where so many other games come out, Bamco might find the sales less than previous versions as gamers spend their money on the other titles at the time.

Hmm You know I  am considering Buying a PS4 this year for Zestiria cause I'm considering the fact that in the future they won't port Tales games to the PS3 anymore.

Berseria was announced on the PS3 as well, though if that version will get a Western release I don't know. they might decide the PS3 market is too small by then. Which when you consider it will be late 2016 at the earliest when we see a release it's likely to be the case.

 

 

New trailer for the game, not sure what to make of the graphics, honestly look like PS3 graphics to me, and i'm sure they've used that beach setting in their past few games. but the water effects pretty much tells me it is running on the PS4. I'm  guessing the Main Charactor may be a vampire or been cursed with something similar. And now getting a better look at her she really does look like a love child of Yuri and Milla.

 

That said I'm looking forward to having a more darker MC again (and a female to boot.) Vesperia was my favourite Tales games largely due to the the grey area Yuri stood compared to the usual goody goody heros we normally see.

Yeah I know, I'm talking beyond Berseria. As you've said they may figure after this game there aren't enough buyers on the PS3 anymore and must progress on so They may well stop PS3 ports for the games all together. And I want a s early a model on the PS4 as possible admittedly.

Why would you want an early model? For collection purpose? The newer models are likely to survive longer, as the early models did have a few issues with fan noise I think it was, Sony did announce a new model this week, but that's only coming out in Japan as of now, the rest of the world is still on the old model, with a bigger hard drive model also still being the old model.

 

We won't see Berisia for another 16 months (unless you plan to import from Japan) so if you are looking at beyond that game you still have some time, the console will probably drop in price by then as well.

Yeah well unlikely to happen this time around, besides unless you plan to box it away and never touch it, it likely won't make much of a difference....that said I've not followed the scene for a few years now, last time was when the PS3 got modded, did all the modding, and hardly ever touched it. though for me once I mod a console the novelty wears off.

Did you order the dual pack? In Europe they released both games in a pack for £15. It was a great deal, I was tempted to buy dispite owning both games.

 

I haven't reserved Zesteria yet, I want to know what the actual Pre-order bonus is this time and also know how the North American and Europeon versions vary. Namco have screwed over the Europe market multiple times with the extra's. Like having more content in the Ni No Kuni US Wizard Edition, or only including the MP3 sample CD in the pre-order pack for Xillia where US got the proper soundtrack. Though the Tales collector in me wants to own both the PS3 and PS4 version.

 

Edit: Soon as I posted this I checked on Amazon and decided to pre-order just in case.

I both games together what dual pack??? Anyway as I play Symphonia the nostalgia hit me full force remembering how many hours I spent grinding for exp and the many times changing ex gems to get different compound ex skills.

Also the US collectors version unofficially announced and like always US gets the better version, and will probably pay less for it.

 

Looks like i'll have to shop around to see which stores are going to do the Pre-order version with the Classic costume DLC, as I have no interest in the Badges. All copies includes Alisha's DLC which is nice. Also Steam seems to have different bonuses depending on the number of pre-orders it gets, if it reaches Symphonia might get that version, but considering this is a port from a Japanese developer, I'm not very confident that the PC version will work as advertised.

If I'm honest this is the least hyped I've ever been for a Tales game release. Namco shot themselves in the foot by promising less than six months between Japanese and Rest of the world release and not achieiving that target, it feels like we've been waiting longer for this game than the other, when in reality it's the least we've ever had to wait.

Yeah true. Perfectly understandable. I 'm just hyped though cause i want to judge it objectively as a game by my own standards cause reviews by others skewers your perspective on things if you listen to only their opinions on things. games Particularly I find on not so rare occasions where i liked a game that people generally had low opinions of and on the opposite end found myself not so impressed with games people praise as the best thing ever so............yeah

Just got my copy, now need to wait for Amazon to email me the costume and weapon skin pack and I'm good to go.

 

Will say this though the print quality of the cover art and on the Disk is dreadful. If I didn't know this was genuine copy, I would think it was a bootleg.
