What ruined the characters in GENERAL is that there are all reduced to nothing but stereotypes with no explanation and had all interesting character traits robbed form them. They became nothing but fillers to be on the damn screen for no reason except to REMIND any original Naruto fan that bothers to watch it that it is Naruto's sequel. Not to mention they can't keep consistency with he characters in terms of personality just to to try damage the kitten they popped out of their @$$es now that Kishi is not bothering to give feedback nor investing his time in the franchise anymore. Prime examples being
1. Sakura telling Nardo that he only loved her because he wanted to beat Sasuke In "The Last: Naruto the Movie", so basically even their friendship isn't real then because that admits Nardo only wanted to be her friend to snatch her away from her "true love later and had only an objectifying view of sakura. And Sakura knew this and so that also admits Sakura was just manipulating him in turn and pretended to be his friend until Sasuke came back, then dropped Nardo like a hot Potato when getting what she wanted at her earliest convienence. But now she tells her daughter that she and Nardo are closer than family and acts like their friendship is like platonic life parntners, but then that contradicts what she said in "The Last", and what transpired in "The Last" can't be a retcon because that explains HOW NARDO AND HINATA FELL IN LOVE AND MARRIED. If you ignored what happened in that movie you are denying the very existence of Bolt-brat in the first place. And YES the tow of them DID need that movie because other was their marriage looks like a retcon, but that movie made a retcon of the very first chapter in that Nardo knows the Shadow Clone from before the age of 12.
2. They turned Hinata into a scary, and have her son be scared $h!tless of her and not to mention she threw out the husband that she passively agrees to let do what he wants and ignore his kids and said bratty son when her daughter gets sick, but again is that even necessary? Because that shows that until then she didn't give a crap about what was happening in her own household. And where did that change in attitude come from when she never showed to have a temper before and intimidate anyone at all? Does that mean SP is admitting Naruto SHOULD have gotten with a woman that was like his mother after all? But then what were SP and their supporters touting for all that time saying Hinata is a total sweetheart that loves Naruto and was never mean to him or lost her temper with him like that "evil incarnate biatch" Sakura? 
the last it self was a retcon. Undoing over 600 chapters in an hour 50 some minutes,
OH Naruto and Sakura are really cause they hardly see each other at all anymore.
Hinata can not be scary her personality won't let her be.
This series is more kittened than the fox x-men timeline and we all know what a train wreck that series was.
