As a NS shipper who doesn't ship SK, having people say SK parallels NS is an insult. I'm sure there are many people in this site who feels the same. It's as annoying as much as NH fans saying that Minato=Hinata. For NH fans, it might be legit assumption, but for me it's insulting. Same with this SK=NS parallel thing. You have every right to express what you think though.

Karin acting like a dog in heat right after the murder attempt=Karin not taking kitten from Sasuke? Really? If anyone is accepting of Sasuke's kitten, it's Karin.

You could say it parallels it by saying how dark , total opposite and awful it is compared to NS      .

Either way why are you guys arguing about kitten parings  .

Kishi has used parallels with SK and NS before actually two pretty recently.
 
Also you know that moment isn't what I was referring to, actually in a way it still backs up my argument because she was planning on flanking him for what he did but her mood changed because well....she's crazy this more or less falls into the "them not being mentally stable" scenario. When I was saying not taking any kitten from Sasuke I was referring to her debut all the way through the Hebi arc where she continuously nagged at him and bit his head off every-time he said something she disagreed with, something that is unlike any other relationship we've seen Sasuke have with any female character especially

I don't see this parallel people are forcing. NS and SK don't share the same kind of background, same interactions, and the counterparts of each paring have nothing similar. (If anything SS is a LOT more similar to SK. Similar interactions, similar events and background.)

In part one, Sakura stood up to Sasuke too, especially in the Chuunin exams. Both girls both stood up to the guys when they were his teammates. Sakura got angry towards Sasuke in part two as well during the Kage summit. Acknowledging one but disregarding the other is a double standard I see frequently in SK arguments.

I don't mind people shipping SK. The only thing I have a problem is when people force parallelism and make their pairing seem legit, while downgrading the other. It's what I see with this NH=MK and SK=NS arguments. I'm not trying to force you to think in my way though. I'm just expressing what I and the others honestly feel with these kinds of arguments.

100% agreed. I always get annoyed when people say Karin doesn't take kitten from Sasuke while Sakura does. Sakura has called out Sasuke on his kitten on a few occasions. In the Fod she lectured him and called him a coward and in the LoI she defended Naruto from Sasuke.

 

SK is all fun and games until a Chidori runs through her chest to get to the enemy.

When did this happen? The closest I can recall this happening is when she thought Orochimaru was going to kill them, she really didn't stand up to Sasuke because he wasn't doing or saying anything for her to stand-up to. Even then Naruto had to be injured for the tensions to be high enough for this to happen.

As I said, I don't see the parallels you are forcing me to see. "Kishi made the parallel twice?" No, I don't see it. Repeating multiple times doesn't automatically make the statement true.

Your statement 1, 2, 3 doesn't really refute the fact that she did stand up to him. You just stated the reasons she stood up to him.

Now it's your turn to provide me with moments where Karin "constantly" stood up to Sasuke.

They do, reasons matter. All of those were high tension filled situations where speaking her mind was the only thing she was left to do.  Where as Karin constantly does so without really caring what Sasuke thinks of her opinion. If anything her relationship with him is closer to SN.

You can try to sugarcoat and make SK look fancy all you want while trying to make similar SS interactions as negative as possible. But if you're going pull that double standard kitten I'll do the same.

Uh no I hate those words bc they are so untrue bc she never really did smile to Sasuke she was always fangirling  the best smile Sakura has is the unique one she gives only to Naruto like this .

Even if you do think I'm making an excuse the difference between ours is that mine doesn't draw any from assumptions or in this case a mockery of the point I'm trying to get across to make my argument seem less credible.

I'm not trying to mock you either nor is my statement above based on assumption. If you're using a typical method to argue, I'll do the same. If you're making a ridiculous statement, I'll do the same. Nothing more, nothing less. That is what I've been saying.

Your previous argument was bad. I gave moments where Sakura stood up to Sasuke and you replied that they don't count as "speaking up" because she had reasons to speak up. What the hell kind of a logic is that? With your logic, Naruto fighting against Pein doesn't count because he had to protect the village. See how that logic works? Just because Sakura had reasons to speak up, it doesn't change the fact that she did speak up to Sasuke. That's why I added the above statement using YOUR logic to prove that Karin wasn't really speaking out to Sasuke. I was trying to point out your double standard.
