One thing I hope for for NaruSaku, guys, after how romance was handled in the last episodes of The Legend of Korra, is that we don't get a sudden tweak to all that's been going on with just wanting to resolve something fast and without any of the circumstances we shoulda been used to. After all, Kishimoto-sensei hasn't blatantly said Sakura loves Sasuke still; Sai and Naruto just assume it because Naruto doesn't want to realize she's grown fond of him as well, and Sai still doesn't fully understand heart but is getting there, even if he doesn't realize Sakura wanted to ease Naruto's pain and burden rather than keep stacking onto it.

I would hate such a rushed ending too. That's why I was so unsatisfied by the Season finale of the Legend of Korra. The Makorra pairing was way to fast for my tastes.

I don't think Kishimoto would do that. Technically, Naruto is in denial over it in order to protect himself from getting his hopes up only to end up wrong. Not that he doesn't want to really. And Sai just made an observation of Naruto's behavior. That's why he said Sakura still loves Sasuke. Though I think Sai was making assumption on some parts to be honest.

well isn't it happen now with Sakura envying Hinata's big boobies ... (road to ninja 1 shot).

as a girl myself I don't care if the other girl has bigger boobies than mine unless she's aiming for the same boy

I heard that Kishi plans on ending the manga in a year in half and also admitted it might be longer than that.

It got me thinking on NaruSaku development down the road, if NaruSaku is canon in the final chapter than was gonna happen between them during these chapters when that moment comes.

Also we still got what Hinata said at ch 573, and Sakura at ch 540.

Kishi could end NaruHina by Naruto rejecting Hinata's request after the war arc and kill SasuSaku by Sakura ending her feelings for Sasuke in the incoming arcs, or Kishi might continue the paring wars till the final chapter (please Kishi don't do this).

Yes. We interpreted it as romantic because she mentioned holding his hand and walking next to him, but in that panel of chapter 443 Shikamaru mentions that Naruto makes him want to walk next to him. Judging by what Shiakamru said, it seems that Naruto has an effect on people that makes them want to stand by him. So I was thinking that the hold hands and walking with Naruto thing that Hinata said might've been with similar intentions to what Shikamaru also said.

Unless Shikamaru also has a secret crush on Naruto.

Yep, just like Gaara (and Iruka too I think) said that they were fighting this war to protect Naruto, just like Hinata did in 540.

Its honestly amazing that NH spouts off arguments about Naruto's increasingly positive regard for Sakura (in response to anti fans pointing out that Naruto didn't show any romantic feelings for Hinata during the "eye reading" scene), when Naruto's feelings for Hinata have literally not developed or changed since the chuunin exams in part one (minus his actually knowing that she's in love with him of course).

In 559, Naruto showed:

• concern ("Are you alright Hinata?") -----> concern for her well being in her fight with Neji, asking if she was better at the log before the fight with Neji
• gratitude ("It would lame if you had to save me again") -----> "thanks Hinata" in response to her proud failure speech
• respect ("You're strong") ------> "I had no idea Hinata was this incredible" during her fight with Neji
• encouragement ("Don't get so down on yourself") ------> Naruto cheering on Hinata during the fight/ "I really like people like you"
• understanding ("It's all in your eyes") -------> Naruto lecturing Neji during his fight with him about how Hinata is also suffering

So basically, everything Naruto showed Hinata in the "eye reading" scene, he already showed it before, and better/stronger, in the chuunin exams way back in part one. So much for "increasing" positive regard.
