That would make sense. Although the statement doesn't get rid of all rival pairings (SS is from the main triangle, too), it wouldn't make sense for Kishi to say something to rule out other pairings before anything's revealed in the manga.

Whether it's fake or not doesn't matter. I don't think you need an interview to confirm that NS is the only pairing that becomes canon. I mean, it's the only pairing that actually matters, especially given all the development put into it.

I was just thinking that if Naruto could use haraisin (sp?) that something similar could happen with NS that happened in the MK example. Since Sakura likes pranks and all. (Although that part from part one is the only example I can think of where this is indicated.)

Yeah, that's way too much info to be revealed in an interview. Kishi's always really vague, especially when it comes to stuff like that.

Yeah, I was about to mention that this is the closest real thing to that supposed interview.

This is funny, but seriously why did Hinata decide to run straight to Naruto and abandon her teammates? Oh right I know why she said, "This war is about protecting Naruto- Kun." and i was like really Hinata really?!? I always laugh when NH fans say that Hinata fell from exhaustion. They ignored the "Thud".

Healing wasn't working with Naruto, that's why manually pumping his heart had to happen

I was referring to Hinata when I said she doesn't know medical ninjustu and I know Sakura was pumping his heart

Technically, Hinata abandoning her teammates wasn't the problem. Naruto is one of the strongest shinobis in the whole alliance and having him knocked down would logically be a major issue. I doubt that's why she ran tho. She does love him so of course she would rush to help him. The better question is what Hinata expected she could do with a advanced medical ninja already by Naruto's side. I wonder what she would've done if she got actually got there.

 

I still believe the main reason Hinata started praying to Neji was to up suspense and drama, but you can't help but compare that to Sakura. She panicked a moment, but she got herself together and didn't give up on Naruto living the way Hinata did. You could argue differences in personalities, but it always made me feel like Sakura's determination for Naruto to live emphasized how much more she cared about him. 

 

Hinata falling was kind of funny, but I can't really make fun of her harshly. I just picture a gif of Hinata falling when that scene's animated and then for the gif to say "EPIC FAIL" afterwards. Someone make this gif, it would be hilarious.
