We've heard that his wife looks like Sakura, that doesn't mean that we should make the conclusion that every little thing that happens with NS happened with Kishi and his wife.
 

So if it's the whole evolution process for a pairing, then why didn't ObiRin have kids after MinaKushi died? I think you and many other people should stop defining this whole surpassing the next generation as some steppingstone for NS to fulfill. One of the main ideas of surpassing the next generation is about the current generation overcoming the mistakes of its predecessors. Like Naruto surpassing all the Hokages, making peace where Jiraiya and Nagato failed in, and other characters becoming stronger than their masters. Now I'm not saying that NS doesn't have a hand in this massage. But the examples that I've listed is how it all started and Kishi wants us to view it as the most important theme in the massage, not NS making two babies so they can surpasses MinaKushi in that regard.

 

And let's be real here, no character other than Naruto and Sasuke right now has even surpassed Hashirama and Madara. The massage is a flawed so that's why I don't care about it. 
 

Kishi didn't confirm anything, he simply answered a what if question. Just like he answered if he were to date his female character it would be Hinata. That doesn't mean anything.

Obito and Rin have no connections with Minato and Kushina so your entire argument caves in on itself. on top of that you're completely ignoring the fact that Kishi has been going out of his way to talk about the new upcoming generation of ninjas in both the H&K arc and the Pein arc and expect him to end it without him ever actually showing the new generation? 

 

3. He did. He was completely straight-forward with it, they asked him that if Naruto has a son in the future what will his name be. Kishi said that he's been thinking it over for a while and has even been thinking of names (implying he's been planning for Naruto to have a kid) On top of that instead of saying "Naruto's son would probably be named Shinachiku" he said "Naruto's son will be named Shinachiku"

No. Supposedly she looks like his wife according to Oda. You nor anyone else for that matter has actually seen his wife.

You've missed the point entirely. The message is about generations surpassing the previous, not who's connected to who.

The new generation is Naruto and company. And it also referred to Kurenai's child. You think everything is shipping related when it isn't. Hooking up and making babies is not the core theme of surpassing the old generation.

This is Naruto--Look at how he handles all of the other shipping stuff. It'd be a huge stretch to believe he'd do something so romance heavy like that. Honestly, I bet NS' canoning ends up being a small end part of the last chapter or something.

3. This one actually makes it seem like ypu're going out of your way trying to not understand. First of all a new generation is shipping related otherwise there wouldn't be a new generation. Second Naruto and Shikamaru are not part of Kureani's daughter's generation. Third the keywords aren't in the question but the answer by Kishi, it was an "if" question but he didn't respond with "would" instead he responded with "will" and he before that he goes on and on about how he has been trying to come up with names for Naruto and that he originally settled for Menma.....

He could do that, just like what he did in this war arc.
In order to not make NS canon, kishi make sure no meaningful two side NS interaction. He keep the status quo(shonen romance tactic for long running manga). Or he could reset sakura developement to zero by make her amnesia or something similiar.

I do think he's going to make it canon, I just don't think it's going to be as meaty and sweepingly romantic like some are holding out hope for. It's just not his style.

 

There was a trailer, but it was just closeups of Naruto and older Naruto with the same new era/expo thing like before.

You're right, it isn't since you have yet to provide me evidence of what she actually looks like. Your claim hinges on a comment made by someone else. Nice try, though.

The generation that followed Hashirama & Tobirama was never surpassed by Sarutobi and company. But I guess you still believe that such themes in this series aren't flawed, like hard work and fighting destiny. lol

I was right, everything is shipping related to you. I didn't know this series was a shojo in which Kishi shows the romance between all the folks who go on to have babies.
 

Second Naruto and Shikamaru are not part of Kureani's daughter's generation.

All three of them were in the mix of the generation talk during the arc.

Since we're analyzing his answer we should also include that people were "jokingly" asking him to start the series with Menma but he settled for having that name be one of the villains in the movie. He goes on to say "the name of Naruto's son will be Shinachiku I guess." Judging by this quote it's as if it's not even a big deal, as it shouldn't be since Shinachiku is also know as Mema and that name is already in the movie.

omg she looks so prety and cool!..personaly i prefer her with shorter hair..the hair and the outfit fits her ,because of her athletic physique and energetic personality..thanks chatte!

 

now im wondering who is the misterious woman that everybody was speculating it was sakura?..maybe its kushina?but the movie seems canon to me...im realy confused

True. However, what I'm interested to see is her combat capabilities at this time. Sakura should be nearing her pinnacle. There needs to be some showing of improvement outside of her medical ninjutsu and strength. Has she finally managed to distinguish herself from Tsunade? Is her latent genjutsu potential finally going to be realised? Those are a few of the more important questions that I'm asking.

Agreed. You know what would be interesting to answer all that would be for Sakura and tsunade have a showdown between each other!! Like a final test that tsunade puts Sakura through to see if she truly has surpassed her. Hell that would be even more interesting to see if that actually happens in the new movie!!! X)

Using clothing for pairing evidence??? Wow just wow desperation level over 1 billion lol. Sadly this is how the NH fandom sees the movie. Naruto is married to Hinata with many children while Sakura is dead, the plot of the movie is Naruto living the daily basis of his marriage even when the manga shows otherwise on so many levels.
