What I don't get is where is all the hate for Hinata for needing to be saved? Or Sasuke? Or Naruto for that matter? Neji died protecting him. You cover for your homies in a fight. Period.

Yeah but... 3 years. Let's hope at least at the end of the series it's implied that she can store chakra at Tsunade's speed.

 

One minor predicament that I can foresee with this is how and why Sakura was capable of reserving such enormous amounts of chakra throughout this timeframe when she had presumably expended most of, if not all of her reserves in her battle against Sasori. If this technique truly was existent during these three years then why did she not use it against Sasori?

 

I can't exactly deny what some other fans may argue that this technique did appear somewhat abruptly.

I agree. I think that's the whole point of bringing up the theme of the sannin once again now.

Given she can basically use every technique Tsunade has, it's not wrong to feel this way. LOL 

 

But since Byakudo is a healing technique, I wonder if hers will be somewhat different than Tsunades....

Maybe they meant that it took her three years to perfect the storing of the chakra and not that she literally spent three years storing it. Another possibility is that she stored a little bit away every day and she isn't able to access it inside a seal until there is a certain amount in there.

It could be that during the fight with Sasori she didn't have the chakra in order to make it work properly. It seems she truly needed the whole 3 years to make the technique activate. Anything less and it wouldn't have sustained itself.
