Well, anyone care to speculate who the duo will come across first? Will it be the playboy Sasuke? Neji and team? Shikamaru?

I have a feeling Naruto will meet Hinata later, around the same time he see's his parents. When he see's his parents, it appears to be dark outside, just like the Hinata scene.

Of course, the two can be completely unrelated.

As for the rest, I already speculated Naruto might come across Neji peeking in the bathhouse. Naruto might think there's actually danger until Neji reveals his perverseness. Maybe Lee and Ten Ten will come around to get Neji back in line, for which Ten Ten hurts herself somehow? Not sure how Lee will be. Maybe be won't even be in the AU universe.

I'm going to assume he'll come across Kiba and Shino at the same time he meets AU Hinata.

I think Naruto and Sakura will end up going to the Hokage tower to figure out what's going on, only to find Shizune is the Hokage and Tsunade is her assistant.

That seems likely. I wonder when that alley way comedy act would put in play. Actually, when and how are we being introduced to Sakura's family.

I think that they'll run into people first that are supposed to be in the village (like Team 8 or Kakashi or Sai), and just assume that they're acting really weird.

Then run into Sasuke, who could physically possibly be in the village (as he's still alive) but for whom it would be incredibly unlikely, and then start wondering if maybe there isn't something really weird going on.

Finally, running into Naruto's parents, who couldn't possibly be in the village as they are dead, would be the final thing that confirms that there is something seriously amiss, and they need to figure out what it is. I believe it is that meeting that will get them to realize that they are in a genjutsu.

Naruto and Sakura goes to genjutsu. Then Minato and Kushina find Naruto in the forest, hence the trailer when Kushina hugs Naruto. They both see Sakura and then, Kushina teases Naruto that she's his girlfriend, hence that troll face with her shinobi outfit on. In the middle of the movie, perhaps Kushina encourages Naruto to meet Sakura's family and get along with them to get along with Sakura well.

That's how I can see everything play out. Plus, judging from one script, Naruto seems highly protective to Sakura (then again, when he wasn't). Yes, they're the only one real, but I do believe his parents will notice his feelings for her in which they may support him. This is just a hopeful segment, but man, it will be funny that it happens. I'm calling it.

Yeah and as far as having what he's always wanted on the girlfriend front, sorry nh shippers but that's never been or ever will be Hinata, it's always been and always will be Sakura. We've already seen in the trailer that Naruto reacts negatively to Hinata's aggressive harassment and threatening attitude toward Sakura. And Sakura is kind of freaking out about stalker playboy Sasuke, this is not what Sakura the young woman wants, it's kind of an embarassing reminder the naive images of love she had at 12. so no, ss shippers, she won't be swooning over this weird Sasuke.

Sakura knows she is in love with Naruto, they are thrown together in this crazy messed up Konoha, and she's been already been openly expressive of her feelings for Naruto since the start of part 2 of the manga in chapter 245. In this messed up world I would expect Sakura and Naruto to draw that much closer emotionally to each other. What Naruto would desire in the girlfriend department would not to have the affections of any girl, but of Sakura. This world may be false, but he and Sakura are real and he has her love openly, plus he has his parents love even though they aren't real. This is what I think will happen.


Kishimoto showed us a long time ago that Sakura's romantic feelings for Naruto had completely overtaken the memories of her feelings for Sasuke, even before Sakura knew Sasuke had gone dark. Compare Sakura's reaction to her first sight of Naruto vs her first sight of Sasuke in part 2 of the manga. With Naruto she smiles, blushes and overtly flirts with Naruto. Sasuke- not so much as a smile, much less a blush or a flirtation. For Sasuke, she has a few seconds of awe at how powerful she senses he's become, which immediately turns to fear. And when Sasuke acts in a threatening way to Naruto, Sakura gets angry and is planning to punch Sasuke into next week.

This in and of itself totally refutes the people who like to claim Sakura isn't in love with Naruto and still is some swooning Sasuke fangirl like she was when Team 7 first formed (and even then if you read the manga Kishimoto continually undermines the surface image of Sakura as a Sasuke fangirl even early on in part 1- it's Naruto that she risks her life for not Sasuke, she blushes at Naruto's heroic actions, and is even at one point early on in part 1 semiaware of having some kind of feeling she knows is romantic related toward Naruto- in manga canon she has no negative reaction to it, just confusion. And that's just in the first 13 chapters...

I kinda wish we'd see more of Yagura. I was kinda hoping he'd be revived on the Alliance side along with the other Jinchuuriki when he gave his chakra to Naruto with the others so we could see Team Jinchuuriki lined up. It would've been funny to see more of his "Toshiro" side.

Just remember guys, these are basically character sketches throughout the franchise history. So, it's not like they'll all appear in the movie. (Particularly, the Jinchuurikis)

I like how Kishimoto uses Naruto -- police line-up style -- to show scale. The difference in Naruto's expression in the sketches of Yagura to Fu as compared to Sakura is hilarious. I love it.

well even if he has an AU's naruto it would not make sense because when naruto's open the family books we see an happy naruto with everything, family happiness and his parents are two awesome ninjas.
