May and Dawn was never shown to have romantic interest for Ash, and this is coming from someone who used to be a pearlshipper and advanceshipper.

Uhmm, you need to put yourself on her place. When someone you admired has dismissed you for a long time, even if you could be able to answer to other person who try to do the same, that one person words will be always more hurtful, you feel insecure.

Ah man, I loved Misty and I was so hoping for Misty and Ash to be together. The Pokemon series was never the same without Misty!

I stopped watching. I loved that one episode where Misty and Ash see a couple and Misty says to Ash- "We'll be like that when we are older". 

 

And the episode where Ash and Misty say goodbye to each other was so emo.

Misty-" Ash, Will we ever see each other again ?" 

Ash- " We will. I promise!"

And at the end when Misty thinks to herself- 'Well Ash, I finally know how you feel about me'.

She probably started out taking it because she believed herself to be lower than him, and didn't retaliate for fear of losing his attention completely. There's nothing unusual about that; it happens in uneven, unhealthy relationships of all kinds.  Abusers and those who take the abuse from them.

 

It's also a good way for Kishimoto to demonstrate that Sakura is not herself, nor does she see herself clearly, where Sasuke is concerned.  It's an obvious way of showing that they are not right for each other.

When I was a kid and watch pokemon, I though there was a love triangle (Ash, Misty, May) I dunno why.

I don't know, I sort of lost interest in Pokemon after Misty left. She was the heroine. I would lose a lot of interest in Naruto if something like that was done to Sakura. The heroine should never be forgotten or replaced!
