Wasn't Shikamaru a Chunnin for most of the manga? He didn't accept promotion until after Asuma's death, Sakura's actions during the Pain invasion better have earned her a Jounin rank, after Tsunade was out of commision and Shizune 'died' she became the defacto leader, and organsied the evacuation of civillians I think....and she was also one of the lead medics, ofcourse she earned her Jounin rank.

 

Naruto can't get promoted to Chunnin without being tested, or atleast that's what we've been led to beleive, his ranking is down to semantics not ability...though that make me wonder if only a few get promoted during the Chunnin exams that only take place twice a year..wouldn't that mean the majority of the ninja's ninja's in the war were Genin rank as well? No wonder they most were defeated so easily

Naruto really is kind of pathetic. Even Hinata has a higher rank them him.

The people being disrespectful on that site should stop. That gets us nowhere and makes the fandom look bad, it also gives nhsers more ammo to use against us. Unless those people are pretending to be ns fans just to make us look bad.
