There's this thing called 'Supplemental Materials' that Squenix likes to use.

Just use finalfantasy.wikia.com

Anyone log in to PS Network?

Yep, PSN's down for quite a bit of people.... Sigh.

Seriously, if they do this one right, it might be the best NFS game ever made:

There's an even better new Final Fantasy XIII-2 trailer out that answers the questions I had like, "where the hell is Snow? Who is this Noel guy? Are there any other party members besides Serah and Noel?" I'm liking this new trailer a *lot* more because it gives more details. The first new trailer though showed some really nice gameplay, so I liked it for that at least ^^
And holy moly, Hope grew up and got kinda smexy o.o
And Snow just got more gruff-looking, and in desperate need of a shave XD

Ok I'm confused. Wasn't Lightning with the rest of the group at the ending of FFXIII? Like Sarah said, she was there just a second ago. huh.gif I sense a confusing storyline coming up with all this time-traveling.

I absolutely utterly agree. It's like what the hell happened after we last saw the characters in FF XIII? Why did they all split up? How many years have passed that Hope has grown up, and Snow is so much older? Where is Sazh? Are he and his son okay? What the heck is up with this 'paradox/alternate universes plot? AND WHO THE HELL IS THIS NOEL? D=

Honestly, I'm not looking forward to FF XIII-2 anywhere near as much as I looked forward to FF XIII. But I'll buy it. And I'll play it. And hopefully it will all make sense when I do, and I'll actually enjoy it as much as I did FF XIII.

That's what happens.

Also, Hope's become even more of a badass. That is awesome.

I really wish they'd just created something fresh. FFXIII was ok but I hardly feel it warranted a sequel. I don't really care for the pseudo-action RPG gameplay either.

Square-Enix has just become a joke in recent years. In terms of characters and story, FFXII was one of the worst RPGs I've ever played. I liked the storytelling elements in FFXIII, but they were bogged down by a mediocre story and only average characters. *sigh*I miss Squaresoft...

I thought it was fine. Great character development. Story was odd, but they had to cut it at some parts to fit it in 3 discs for the 360. Of course, 13 was my first Final Fantasy (I'm sure there's an oxymoron somewhere), so my opinion doesn't matter at all. a_thumbs.gif

The character development was good. It's just that the characters themselves(their basic personality traits and such) felt rather dull. Not to mention, both Sazh and Vanille annoyed me to no end...

I'd really recommend going back and playing the other FFs, though. I'd say any from 7-10. Although, some people say 8 and 9 are more of acquired tastes.

Nah, I have no patience for turn-based battles. This one managed to give the illusion of real-time.

Vanille annoyed you? The deconstruction of the usual 'hyper active, cheerful girl' is refreshing. Underneath that facade, you have a girl who suffers from what she's done and feeling astounding guilt. Sazh? What's wrong with him? Breaking from the jive turkey black guy that usually propagates the media and using a father who's so depressed and hopeless about his son's fate that he almost commits suicide.... It's quite interesting. But then again, why does it matter, I'm an FFnewbie. a_thumbs.gif

sleep.gif Naruto is much like that himself. The difference ? Naruto is actually useful and occasionally even amusing. The situation is different, of course, but their personality types are quite similar. About the only time I was happy to have Vanille was in combat... for Death spamming.

Sazh seemed like he'd be better suited for a bad daytime tv drama... If you really look at how utterly trite Sazh's story was you'd know why he annoyed me(not to mention his mannerisms).

Whether you're an FFnewbie or not I like to hear other peoples opinions. I'm genuinely glad that YOU enjoyed it. I just wish I had(though I guess I must of enjoyed it to a certain degree considering I got the platinum).

Look what I found:

It's an first person game in development called Warco, were instead of going for the action, you are an reporter filming the carnage around you, and your job is to film all the conflit and obliviously stay alive. The concept it's interesting, but, I don't know, running around just filming sounds like something that will eventually get boring.

Apparently there's going to be time paradoxes in the storyline. The gameplay looks great.

Vanille and Naruto's personalities is in no way similar. Vanille is the type where she won't show any negative emotions at all. All of them are bottled up inside. She wants to portray a cheerful girl who has no worries. She's like Minorin from Toradora. I have a friend that's like that and its heard to have a serious conversation with her. Also I enjoyed FF-12's gameplay but I agree the story is not Final Fantasy worthy at all. I've played FF 7,9,10 so my opinion holds some value?

Don't have the final zombie pack, there was a game site giving out free codes, but I can't find it again.

Also, Lonesome Road is pissing me the hell off. Why in the hell does the game freeze and lag at a crucial moment?

After I pick up a laser detonator VITAL to the main quest, the game starts to freeze because I get ambushed by several enemies. WTF Bethesda?

In completely unrelated news, diggin' Nathan Drake's new, modern Lawrence of Arabia look.
