I would have love that...it would have been a blast xD I had fun with Korra even though I shipped nobody lol

 

I'll be honest I was the same way when it came to Korra, shipping never really mattered to me when it came to Avatar The Last Airbender or Korra I was simply invested in the story. Granted I didn't think Korra was as good as Avatar The Last Airbender, but it was a good attempt. 

 

 

I don't know if any of guys are reading this series, but I've been following it since 2008 (same time as when I got into Naruto) it's not a manga, but comic book series by Kazu Kibuishi:

Ok I do owe the explanation on the plot summary. So here is the lowdown:

 

• The movie starts as always with others, action scene.
• The real start is Team Konohamaru doing a mission that Boruto flopped at.
• Konohamaru shows them the next generation technology by Mr. Scientist.
• Naruto don't approve it because no chakra requirement. Basically it almost became ok until the no chakra requirement kicked in.
• Boruto don't like how Naruto is busy and not at home. He told him to be home for his sister birthday, but after one-shot, I too would skip.
• Birthday is here and Naruto wasn't there but a clone that went poof.
• Boruto got mad and even Hinata recalled that she has been lonely. Blame Kishi, miss.
• Boruto meets Sasuke and became instant fanboy. It must be the gene.
• Sasuke and Naruto meet in the office and gave Naruto the old clothes that Boruto threw out.
• Sasuke went there to get an info on the secret scroll.
• Killer Bee got his ass kicked due to his role to show the power of Momoshiki for the first time.
• Boruto and others go to the exam. That and get trained by Sasuke which by the way already foreshadowed Boruto's "invisible" rasengan.
• Sasuke tried to teach him to do that Itachi's move, which almost seem pointless if he never does it beside training.
• Exam 1 is questions with a twist of falling down. Why? Why not.
• Naruto congratulates Boruto...via email. I guess he's The Rock to WWE current generation but far less cool.
• Exam 2 is capture the flag because Halo did it.
• Boruto uses the device because it is helpful.
• Naruto congratulates Boruto in his room. Look at trailer to know what scene.
• Before exam 3, Boruto claimed he gotten better at rasengan but it's because of the device that make it "better".
• Exam 3 is brawl. Boruto fights Shikadai, but uses gameshark to the fullest.
• He was caught and Naruto tells him no more cheat, banned until December 31, 2999.
• Mr. Scientist for some reason was shown "villainy," because aren't they all.
• He tried to advertised but recalled that we already have a villain: Momoshiki.
• He and his right hand man attacks the stadium and it's up to Naruto and Sasuke to save Konoha because counting fillers, isn't it the best place to attack.
• Naruto got kidnapped and Hinata got raging demon by them because it was off-paneled.
• Boruto runs to the office to find the old clothes with Sasuke telling him he and Naruto are the same yet he seems to learn now because he beat Grand Theft Auto without cheat codes.
• Boruto wears it and Sasuke and him were going. Yes, it's take your kid to field trip day.
• Gaara and other kages pulled the usual Bleach movies stunt by showing up as a group and say, "Don't forget us!"
• Naruto tells Momo that ninja are strong or something.
• Momo wants to help Kaguya for what reasons, no idea. Either the story really don't care or the report has nothing on it.
• Kages handles his henchmen as Momo fight the rest, though Boruto is being placed on the bench.
• Momo was about to lose because well no one gave him the right plot, so his right hand man (yes, I forgot the name), being stuck, breaks free and come to Momo to fuse.
• Naruto and Sasuke get together and about to fight like the old days. This is the real highlight and the Yoda of Naruto Movie.
• Even Momo fused, Cenation was just too much, so he lost in under 2 minutes after fusion. Ok...
• Naruto and others were happy, until Mr. Scientist uses his gameshark to make sure he is dead, but revived once more. Game got bugged.
• Momo now took them down since everyone got tired. Is this the end of Naruto?
• Boruto finally called in after Kuroko is now visible.
• Boruto did the invisible rasengan and Momo got hit. Sasuke, you were scared of him?
• The fused rasengan or I think it's powered up rasengan occur by Naruto to Boruto because DBZ did it.
• Momo tried to fight back but too late.
• Momo dies. If anyone ask, Boruto is the murderer.
• Boruto got news report and ended up being a clone because the real one is with the team.
• Supposedly Boruto and Naruto bury the hatchet though I think the guy forgot to mention it, but I have heard it was very rushed.
• Boruto will be the guy to protect the Hokage.
• Movie ends...Until we learn that Mitsuki's father is Orochimaru. Why? Why not?

If I recall:

• Sakura was blushing the idea of Sasuke being back for once. There was no real ground to it since they never talked.
• Sakura cheers for Sarada.
• Medic and that's the last you see of her until the very end.

Funny because there were so many characters that just fade away. I guess Boruto pulled misdirection overflow.

I hated almost everyone after season 1 (though I loved Amon death scene, the way it was well done) especially on season 2 (didn't even watched it but Season 3 was the best season...ATLA, I knew who was gonna be with who, didn't even bothered shipping too much (Toph and Zuko maybe...a bit with Aang and Toph but nothing serious) so I was more of story for both as well (I didn't know there was a shipping war)

My guess is that they brought in so many of the fan favorites in hopes of hitting fans nostalgia nerve but because they had no confidence in the movie and because of the last they put too much action and sasuke that there was no room for those character to be anything other than a cameo.

The movie is pure fanservice. I mean it's not bad but plays way too safe. Remember, Kishi is doing for the fans literally, so this is the way. There are plenty of moments that really not needed to be there, including exam since it quickly disregarded as no one became chunnin or anything. It ended half done. The idea is revisiting. From training rasengan (seriously, it's the same as Jiraiya) to rasengan being reminded to those who inherited. I mean I get that it's the new generation, but I feel like there's too many that is left underdelivered, or at least that's how he put it.

What would you say the quality of the visuals and artwork is like compared to "The Last"? Is it superior, worse, or about the same?

One of my friends saw the film via those capture cams on the Internet, and tried to convince me that it was better then Resurrection 'F'. I just laughed at him, and said no. It seems like the film is nothing special though, and caters to nostalgic while making the younger generation look weak compared to the older generation.
