Hey guys, what's the best analysis of Sakura's confession to Naruto in this forum? I'd really like to just copy one and use it for NS in other forums. PLS tell me if you have a specific (preferably not too long) post in mind.
The opposing shippers say that Sakura doesn't love Naruto romantically, all the time.
I'd really like to write a good explanation explanation myself, but unfortunately English is not my native language.

Personally at the time of the confession it seemed to me as Sakura was just heartbroken by sasuke and trying to push him out of it forcingly. Sai said it himself that it's because she loves him so much that she did that. Her love for sasuke cannot be ignored during the confession. However, after all that's happend between naruto and sakura and sai telling her that naruto loves her, it is clear that sakura thought about naruto in a romantic sense very quick and tried to give it a chance if it ment she could life that heavy burden off of his shoulders. However, naruto didn't believe such quick change of heart from sakura to "not care about sasuke" and became suspicious. However as the manga has gone on, we see sakura losing more of her feelings for sasuke and try to do what's good for her which examples are the summit arc, chapter 540 and the most recent chapter. It is clear sakura doesn't trust sasuke anymore and her feelings are dimming ever since then. The summit arc has so many ways to look at it but one thing for sure is that sakura would never say that if she did not think of naruto in a romantic sense and another purpose of the confession was to lift naruto's burden. It was ALL done for naruto and his safety which clearly shows how much she cares about him.

Slextrem and James S Cassidy has probably written dusins of those here. :P But I don't know if they have it on a word document.

You can dig it up, ask them or go check out Nostradamus NS manifesto, which includes the confession.

Ahhhhhh I'm so pumped for the next chapter!!! It seems most of us think Sasuke has a plan up his sleeve.

Reguadless of Sasuke's fate, good or bad the one thing I do not want is him doing something terrible and then Sakura saying "oh I can't love him" But rather some moment (I can't think of right now) between Naruto and Sakura, where she will realize that she "doesn't nor actually ever have loved sasuke"  instead has "always loved Naruto"

Seeing how Kishi had Sakura already say she cant love sasuke because hes a criminal and then showed she still has feelings for him (lover ninja) i have faith that it will play out like outlined above.

Now what this moment/s is or how long it will take I have no idea, but my guess near the end.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Sakura has to realize that she misjudged Sasuke back then. I think we all agree that Sakura didn't love Naruto in chapter 3 for example, that's a fact.

But Sakura has never loved Sasuke. She was in love with a Sasuke, who never existed in the first place. She was in love with that, which she thought he was. He was not a person who would never turn against another village or even Konohagakure.

I'm so excited when I think about a possible scenario in which she could acknowledge that Naruto is her 'fated one'.

Just had a thought.

So, do you guys think that Sakura's feelings will be resolved before or after Sasuke's and Naruto's final battle? It's a tough call for me because I can see it going both ways, to be perfectly honest.

Somehow, I can see her resolving her feelings before the final battle. It doesn't mean they're canon, rather we just have to pray Naruto makes it out alive. Yes, it's obvious, but that's the goal of a writer, to create tensions from the audience.

I think you guys remember the part where Konohamaru asks Naruto if Sakura is his girlfriend, and also that frog? Well I actually found out that other mangas/animes use that special way of asking too.

The way Konohamaru asked was by showing his little finger, also the frog too. We know that Kishimoto is aware of "fated lover/red string of fate" thing since he used it with Kushina and Minato. "That became our red string of fate."

I found this by watching Ranma 1/2. It's funny how no one actually knew what showing pinkie like that means before I pointed out (maybe someone knew not that I met), people thought that it only means "girlfriend", while it actually means that both people are attached by red string on their pinkies.

And it seems that Anime team aware of it too:

Thanks for sharing. You know I was going to write a post in my blog about how at times once get teased, you're most likely going to end up with that person in the end. The cartoon is more obvious but that doesn't mean anime/manga is safe from it as well.

@4Life, Yes that is true. And in manga's little hints like that mean alot. (:

I hope it is not at the end when she realizes she loves Naruto.

I would rather see her have her feelings resolved now and then let NS build to the end. I have a hard time believing a childhood crush can overcome attempted murder (four times).

Eh, however a lot of people don't so. They think sakura's love is so strong and so unbreakable even though she even said "he is breaking my heart" sakura's resolve will come very soon an I'm pretty sure a lot of other fans will not like it.

IMO, I think it would be better to do it early than to just drop it on the fan base at the end. At least you have the main story that can lessen the pain of NS. I just think more hate is coming Sakura's way if this goes to the end.

I can't see how people can justify she still loves him after he tried to kill her.

Well I do hope for something like first end the old love, then start building up for NS. It feels like it can happen here since judging by the latest preview, she has chance to figure it out before Sasuke go third party. I think it's a good route because well, it just leaves for much more developments for NS. Granted, it really is ready to be canon, but it will be nice to go further with it before closing. We'll see.

It's both painful for sakura fans and narusaku fans to witness any more serious development from the two. Even though I don't like hinata I hope naruto can come to an understanding with her about his own emotions. As of right now none of us know how she feels about sasuke even though it has been hinted that her feelings have been dimming more and more since start of the summit arc. I also hoped kishi ends this sooner than later and at least let whatever couple he chooses which will be narusaku have that development until the possible end of the manga. It would take off a lot of the heat others will have by the end of the manga and it removes all who read the manga for pairings to leave this completely.

I don't know. Kishi seems to be on the verge of ending everything that needed to be done so the final development can begin. I am starting to think that we are overexagerrating on certain things and Kishi could just clearly end it if he wants to end. He pretty much ruined NH and he didn't even do it by the end of the arc? Is there something that's more to come? Couldn't Kishi just wait on Minato to ask that or even, just never have him say anything to Sakura? Something tells me that there will be more to come for NS and we are going to get something more than 631.

That right there is a given. Kishi is moving fast and it would not surprise me at all if he decides to just destroy all other pairings in this one arc. Kishi seems to be doing a lot with these couples recently in this manga as well and it is clearly written in text which baffles me how somehow people still go on denying this point. I think you have a good point and it is a very huge possibility as we come into the last 2 or 3 chapters of this volume. Sakura is as close to ever to destroying sasusaku for good.

Pretty much. Kishi used this arc to end many things and pretty much give NH last hurrah with 615, regardless of the content, the point was it happened and now, everyone can move on and go to bigger things. The real final developments. SS is showing nothing to protect SS, so what's next in store. I don't know but NS is no where near over, so that's not good news for others.
