When I think about that joke argument and Naruto likes Hinata now conclusion the NH fans somehow get, I try to think about the perspective. Okay, it's a joke. Then I think about how weird and OOC it would be for Naruto to call a girl he "doesn't like" his girlfriend and what makes it even more OCC is that he says that when the girl he actually does "like" is in the vicinity.

 

Then that brings up questions like "Well, why didn't he call Hinata his girlfriend?" or "Why would he say that when Hinata could've heard and it would hurt her feelings? He 'likes' her, right?" I would think that he would've loudly declared Hinata is his girlfriend instead. Calling another girl he doesn't like his girlfriend when the other's around would be considered cheating, but only to himself because Naruto's that true to himself.

 

The argument just doesn't work for me out of sheer OCCness ... if Kishi really wanted the love subplot be ambiguous or cast doubt over Naruto's feelings for Sakura, then he would've either said no or hesitate to say anything with a careful glance at Hinata and seem conflicted. If the former happened it would be pairing-neutral and if the latter happened, NH might have more evidence.

 

I try to get where the NHers are coming from, but even when I step in their shoes and pretend to be a NHer even a moment, the arguments are too OCC and selective. 631 destroyed everything for NH. They have to know on some level, even if it's unconsciously.

It's possible, I'm not gonna deny the possibility cause Anything is possible. If he does return I'd be interested in what kinda role he would play. Something tells me he'd realize what he'd done after casting Infinite Tsukiyomi and convert to the good side. However that's assuming Madara will return in the manga.

We know. I guess we were Naruto, thinking over to challenge ourselves. Sadly, we ended up winning (NS owns) and losing (our own argument against us). I think I should have two side of me talking to each other.

I can't believe they did. Then again, they did "used to love" scene, so anime is like beginner's mode while manga could be heroic mode. Remove all teases, parallels, and hints from them, you're playing legendary.

Well, sort of. Initially he rejected the idea of reality and the real world, because he reasoned that a world where Rin died is a fake world. So he believed that the real world was a lie and wanted IT, but his dream of IT wasn't his real dream either. When he rejected reality, he rejected himself as well. His real dream lies with the real Obito, or the one that wanted to be hokage and have friends and all that stuff. So in essence, you're right, his dreams never did come true, but it wasn't the IT that was his dream lol

But you know, we cannot rejoice that Obito is gone for good. He spent a few minutes in the after-life and now he's already back in Kakashi's body. So get ready for more of Obito in the next chapters. *sighs*

For all we know, that might not even be his ending and he may come back alive yet again. After-all, Kishi loves to play the 'Is he dead or is he still alive' mystery game with Obito.

Yup, you're right. Since accountability is lacking in this series I guess peaceful endings for every villain.

 

I think this is finally Obito's time. I mean, he doesn't want to keep Rin waiting lol.

Idk, I felt really bad for Obito, so I was kinda happy to see him get something. I mean, the guys entire stint with Madara was a lie, he got manipulated from the beginning. Even though his actions were inexcusable, it was nice to see him acknowledge that, and acknowledge that he was wrong, and take accountability for what he did. A step up for what some other characters who would blame everybody but themselves for the way things turned out *cough* Sasuke *cough*..

Killing Neji was to teach Naruto a lesson, it was well justified. The deeds he did in the end made up for the lives he's ruined.
