according to a post I heard on 2ch Kishi said himself that Sakura looked at Naruto as a romantic interest. lol, I just realized: Cannon couples in Ch.700 are based on bad, few, or zero manga panels. Let's take a look:

NaruHina: 15 interactions overall, more in Part 1 than Part 2; needed a kittening 2 hour movie to justify their relationship

SasuSaku: many - but not all!- interactions full of mental torture, murder attempts, and tears of desperation; almost zero interaction in Part 2

SaiIno: one scene in which Sai ironically said the opposite of what he thinks

ShikaTema: only couple everyone knew would happen for sure whether or not they shipped them

ChojixKarui: Lol, became real offpanel

LeexMystery mom: Left off to our imagination

Obviously NaruSaku did not fit into his scheme

But he's with her anyways...Nice guy for sure. I'm not bothered by Inosai being canon. I liked choino and Inoshika better, but whatever. Sai is a nice guy, Ino is a good friend...I just wish Inojin weren't so fugly...

Earlier today, Lys and I were talking about how TWD fandom made a petition after a character was killed off in the stupidest, slopiest way possible..and The fandom had a 40,000 strong petition to bring her back, and are sending spoons by the hundreds per person to AMC and the Writers in protest.
