I think this was around the time you took a break from the pairing wars. I believe this was also around a little after Viz gave their translation and TakL said it could be taken either way. So this was all SS fans really had going for them even the "Naruto Couples wiki" uses it as evidence but then again they also used 635 and 540 as positive SS moments as well.

I think that's why anime with 12 to 20 episode per season have better animation than weekly animated manga.

Yeah they've done that a couple of times before iirc. The canon is already dragging the story enough as it is, but with the anime doing it it's even worse.

 

And yeah I agree. I guess that's because they have more budget to spend on the episodes and have longer time to make it.

Nah but you're right, his brother would probably be alive in his dream and they would hang out happily with the rest of Team 7 (Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Yamato). And.. maybe NS is together since he wants those two to be happy and knows their feelings for each other. But mostly the former ofc.

Technically, I don't disagree with him. I've made it clear that when I was first translating, I took the context and previous speech into consideration.

TakL always translate it very technically word to word and leaves the context vague. It's his translation style. So, I don't think he's necessarily wrong, and I would do the same thing if I had to translate under NF.

Yeah, I'm not saying he's wrong, it just doesn't help much by way of debates, since he said it could be taken either way so.

Haha, the last translation I did was Sasuke thanking Obito and Sakura. I wonder if he/she is going to take that as a biased translation as well If heshe was consistent he/she'd have to deny my translations even if it were in favor of SS.

It doesn't connect with 631. It's just the NH fanbase using this moment as "proof" that Naruto was joking about the girlfriend comment.

I don't think it does. I think Naruto's reaction is played purely for comedy, just like Sakura's tsundere moments. Naruto already knows she can hurt him if she really wanted to, it never stopped him from loving her before.

I wouldn't know since I dropped the anime, but like I said it tends to follow the formula of one chap per episode and a long ass recap.

To be honest with you guys I haven't read every chapter/volume of Naruto but i've read probably most of them like a while ago, after everything ends, I hope whoever owns the manga series MUST release a complete box set of all of the volumes. Simply because i don't want to buy the volumes individually, i mean c'mon Death Note has it's own box set, Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball z has their own box sets. The reason why im telling you this is so i can have all of Kishimoto's work, not someone elses like the anime.

Well its definitely not gonna be a "be hokage" speech to Naruto, Obito already gave him one, that leaves another MK parallel.

 

I think it would be cool if he asked Sakura for confirmation on whether or not Naruto is her boyfriend since she didn't answer before and she actually confirms it.

 

Ofcourse this being an NS moment with Sakura giving a hint Naruto will either be out or for whatever reason not hear her say this.

Nah I wouldn't want that. Kiba is similiar to Naruto. That's somehow like admitting Hinata does fit with Naruto.
I'd like to see Hinata with someone who's calm and prince-like/ charming, caring and caressing but also cool. Maybe like Neji a bit..Who'd actually love her.
