HAHA omg I totally saw that. Dude she never smiled like that before... I guess it's the affect of NaruSaku love xD. I seriously think their next interaction will be really heartfelt :] cause that simple encounter was really cute even though she just passed by to tell him about Tsunade.

It's Naruto's mental image of his age peers- how he sees them in his mind. Yeah the image of Hinata was very deliberate contrast to Sakura on Kishimoto's part. Sakura's glowing with happiness and love at Naruto- and the only one with her full attention on Naruto- with her hand lightly clutched over her heart, no less, where Hinata is the only one completely turned away from Naruto, slightly crouched over, shadowed and frowning. The others have varying expressions and are at least vaguely sort of noticing Naruto, but at least partly looking elsewhere. Some have kind of "bodyguardish" expressions: Shikamaru, Neiji, Konohamaru especially. Sai is half looking at Hinata, with a kind of wary look on his face, Lee is looking vaguely depressed, Kiba's kind of looking annoyed with his eyes directed mostly toward Hinata, etc... Oh and note how Kishimoto places Lee and Hinata right next to each other- again he's reminding readers that Hinata is to Naruto as Lee is to Sakura. He did this by panel placement in 450 as well- when they witness Sakura's romantic embrace of Naruto in front of the whole village.

Wow, I kinda saw how Sakura and Shikamaru look at Naruto (one full of love and the other kinda like a best friend vibe) but wow I wasn't paying attention to it. Now that we're talking about that, I remember someone trying to say that because Hinata was in the middle, she was the focal point in the pic thus it meant that she's more important for Naruto. Meh, I much rather use concrete evidence but this one panel makes things a bit clear.

Nope, we've been waiting for more NaruSaku moments for a while now, but at least we're getting anime fan service in the mean time :-)

Interesting enough, there was a rather adamant NH fan who argued that the group panel supported NaruHina because :
a) Hinata being the only one turned away indicates that Naruto feels he and Hinata have unresolved issues (aka her confession and his reply to it) that need to be addressed
and
b)because Hinata is front and center of the panel/group, this signifies her importance in Naruto's mind.

Needless to say, I strongly disagreed with the above argument - Naruto is the focus of the panel, where the eye of the viewer is supposed to be drawn to first, and Sakura and Shikamaru are physically closest to him implying that they are closer to him relation-ship as well. Hinata is in no way the focus or center of attention in the panel, which was what was being argued.

Though to be completely honest, the panel is a relatively minor hinting of relationships to begin with (at least, in my opinion).
