Considering that naruto is over, I am afraid that we may have a serious influx of Hinatards starting to read One Piece and are gonna start shipping Luffy Hancock like crazy cause she is so in love (despite being a really obvious joke and mockery on love stories).

 

Oda better give Nami some great screen time for the upcoming arc. I hope Nami will eventually bond with Tashigi in a motherly and sister way to give her a bigger more positive role. Nami's antics (thievery, seductress, vulgar personality light clothed) would contrast  perfectly with Tashigi's kind, quiet, honest and modest personality. They might be some great character development with Nami supporting her dream and all.

 

Nah, the Hinatard are too simple minded, they would be completely lost in the One Piece universe, it's too complicated for them, Oda can do what he likes, unlike Kishi the story of One piece is his own, one he planned and started to work on years before he became a mangaka, Look at how different Naruto's One parter is compared to the actual manga and then look at the Romance Dawn one parter and the One Piece manga. Oda has the end already written, all his editors know how it will end, and one thing is for certain, the only thing Kishi planned about the end was a fight wbetwen Sasuke and Naruto, the final enemy didn't even look like she was planned out until the war was in full swing.

 

I was actually hoping for a scene between Koala and Nami, it could have been interesting, Nami's hardships was due to Arlongs hatred for humans, which stemmed from their leader getting betrayed by humans when dropping off a human girl to her parents, that girl just happened to be Koala. For Koala it was the fishmen that gave her hope and gave her reason to smile, and Humans who treated her like a slave, for Nami it was the opposite. Plus both have to deal with the idiot brothers daily, and treat Robin as their older sister. I hope they get to bond later on in the manga.

I really love Bart with the crew. I really think Oda actually messed up with Bart. He didn't think the feedback on him would be this high. If he knew then Bart wouldn't of had a crew, but too bad.
 
As for that cover... first thing I noticed was Luffy semi grabbing at Nami. The second thing I noticed was Nami's breast being 3x bigger than Robin's even though Robin's are slightly bigger in canon. Soooooo >.<

You know there is always pressure from someone else to do something they want. Its inevitable.

 

I definitely would like to see scenes between Nami and Koala. the former slave is literally an equivalent of Nami in every way possible (the hat keeper, the hair color, the similar and opposing background and angry personality). I would like to have a scene where both scold and beat up Luffy and Sabo in paralell. It would be hilarious.

 

Nami went as far as to compare Tashigi to Bellemere which is the greatest compliment you could get from her. Considering that Tashigi has a real struggle about Justice, being stronger and accomplishing her dreams, the navigator could play a role into helping her come stronger and more confident.  I think Nami interacting with the captain has possibly more chemistry due to them being totally opposites. I think Tashigi could show the best of Nami as a character.

They already did. When Luffy made Usopp shoot the world government flag, he was going against the marines as well. No need for a revolution. Luffy is a pirate. Akainu will step in any pirates way before they get the One Piece.
