On bold: that is unlikely because as I said, they moved Shippuden back to its original time slot. If that was the case, both should had on the deal for better slots not just one.
3rd one sounds they really want ratings. Honestly, I do not know why they even decide to air the trash very early but didn't even finish airing Shippuden's dub. And right now, its STILL not even in the Fourth War arc.
I started following Toonami ratings around the time they brought Gundam back, just to see what they were like (and because I was dealing with idiots who were convinced Gundam IBO was this huge anime in the States). Back during those early days, Toonami was doing a LOT better than they were doing now. Like now, Dragon Ball Super is pretty much the only show that can get over a half million viewers. When I started, Dragonball was doing like 1.3 million-ish, and the next couple of shows would score over a million as well.
But with each new show, the overall ratings would go down. Gundam was the start of this, singled out as the weak link in the night. Then Jojo came along and has continued to lose viewers to this day. My Hero Academia, Tokyo Ghoul, Pop Team Epic, it just gets worse and worse. The thing is, I remember people moaning about bad the ratings were back in those days. Hell, despite calling Gundam IBO a flop during it's run people were convinced that bringing it back for season two would mean those million-ish viewers it scored would return. Didn't happen, season two did worse than Gundam Unicorn (and Unicorn was moved back).
If you want to see the ratings, go to the Toonami subreddit each Tuesday. You'll see a lot of people talking about how cable is dying and how these are good numbers despite them freaking out over better numbers this time last year. Here's last week's.
