I get the impression that Naruto said something hurtful to Hinata in that flashback when they were kids, and during the movie he has a recollection of it. So I'm guessing the important thing Naruto has to tell Hinata is about how he misjudged her back then or something like that.

Can someone put the translation of Naruto saying he realized something? Because I kept hearing that it's about nakama, but he definitely said nakama before that part.

No matter what Kishi does, NH is not something I would feel nothing but contempt for, and I used to ship it...

 

For me it died during the suicide confession. I don't like love martyrs kitten. I don't believe love is uncondtional. If the person barely acknowledges you, then they don't deserve your love or you to sacrifize your precious life for them. That's what I believe. For that reason I didn't like seeing Naruto and Sakura stalking Sasuke all over part 2.

He did a crappy job with this movie. The entire movie is just his way of finishing the Hinata love cough obsession cough for Naruto once and for all. She's get her closure and will move on with her life. Maybe this teaches her to finally pay attention to the people around her instead of pinning over Naruto, her entire life.

I believe Kishi actually stated in an interview at some point that Naruto would be American and Sakura would be European, actually. Someone I follow on Tumblr actually discussed this... 

He was asked if Naruto was an American movie, who would play the characters? He said Naruto and Sakura would both be Caucasian (he specifically mentioned Dekota Fanning), while Sasuke would be someone Japanese.

I guess Kishi wants to make up for Naruto's criminal obliviousness toward the girl (like him never caring to answer her confession). Too late Kishi, too late. Naruto will never look like a gentleman. Non kitten insane Sauce is more gentlemanly than him.
