i truly feel sakura would be far more popular if she was more often showed in her best light. the people who dislike her far to often remember her part 1 early days. when shes at her best her popularity seems to grow (sasori fight,RTN movie) sakura is a character of so much potential, but kishimoto neglects that potential. the reason for hinatas popularity is obvious. she is the typical cute shy girl with an amazing bod, your typical male manga fan loves that lol. sakura does not have those physical advantages, but she does have the personality. kishi just needs to make use of it.

Guess I'm not typical, I always found sakura to be more attractive.

yeah, editors can have a huge influence on mangakas and their works history... For example, do you know that Kishimoto hadn't no intentions to showing some actions from Team Taka during the fight against the 8tails? Editor told him to do it. Even the character of Killer Bee himself.... Kishi forced by the editor to give him more background because he likes him (especially his rapping style and his wrestling moves).

Killer Bee isn't what you considered, a "forced" character.

First off, he was concepted and created because his previous editor was a huge fan of wrestling. And since you forget to mentioned that Kishimoto had said that that he was friends with that said editor in the 2011 interview.

Basically, Bee is what I think is a "dedicated" character for all of the hard work that editor and Kishi had down together since the time (I think they had done all of the work since the beginning) for the manga.

Yeah guess you're right lol, the thing I could never get over for hinata was the eyes, pure white eyes with veins... no thank you. Also I never really cared for huge a chest and to me that's all hiinata really is haha.

Yeah I think that too, she seems to have so much potential but its like none of it has properly been fulfilled. I mean apparently she is meant to have really good genjutsu which we haven't seen and also I'm assuming she has not signed the slug summoning scroll which also sucks.

since hinata liked to point out that she was more endowed in that area then sakura in RTN, we know that kishi made her like that consciously lol.

To me, Hinata is undeniably more "attractive" in the anime than she is in the manga. I don't know why, and I can't really explain it. In the manga, though, she just looks so...bland. No chest size can make up for that amount of blandness.

Even Tenten looks more appealing in the manga than Hinata does, and that's saying something.

hey hey i find tenten to be cute...now only if she would let her hair down hahaha lol. the whole manga vs anime thing is a nice point, cause its true that there is a lot of people who only watch the anime and not read the manga. sakura was more awkwardly cute in part 1 but in part 2...yeah she was hot. woooooow im sad finding a character on a page hot hahahahaha!!

my bad. I just wanted mean that editor said to kishimoto to give more space to Killer Bee. The same for team taka. I said forced because I didn't know how to put it there... Since english isn't my first language... my bad

Don't get me wrong, I find Tenten cute too. Just...less cute/attractive than many of the other Naruto women.

But yeah, in both the anime and the manga, as far as I'm concerned, Sakura is the more..appealing. Chest size be damned.

Agreed on the Sakura being more appealing part, and the Ino part...hmmmm it's always been a very close call for me. That being said, I totally see where you're coming from.

Yeah, that's a possibility, but I don't know how they would be able to make her look better in the anime. I mean, the anime and manga versions of her both look very similar. There's just something about the anime version that... I don't know. It's odd. I can't pin down the difference, but there definitely seems to be one.

I agree. During part one, I think Ino was more attractive for me. I didn't read the manga then so I can only say so based off anime. I think the anime made Sakura look much better though in comparison to the manga.

But in part 2, I found Ino's "more revealing aka sl****" appearance to be unattractive. Glad, Kishi gave her a jacket and long sleeve. I like that better. But in part 2, I definitely find Sakura as #1

In anime, when drawn right, she's my favorite. When not drawn right, well...no one. Lol. Still like her. I don't know, she just feels right to me. Other girls are good too.
