Thats douchbaggy. She healed him for that long, and afterwards she can barely breath,move,talk,she put the strain on her body to save him, (if that's not a sign of true love then i don't know what is).. But all he can think about is hinata. Did he say thank you, tell her he appreciates all she has done for him?

Even in Hinata's movie Sakura still does more than her. And Sakura still shows selfless love towards Naruto.

No matter how they did and will do in the future. Everyone already knows the truth Naruto loves Sakura and Sakura loves Naruto. Nothing can ever change that.

What? You think this abrupt shift in priority to Hinata because of her relevancy to the "love story" in The Last is going to extend beyond that to the spin-off and future movies? She's served her purpose as a self-destructive narrative contrivance. Her and the Hyuga clan have had their due and more by giving them a contrived destiny linking them to Hagoromo's sibling. Their subplot doesn't require nor does it deserve anymore than what has already been sacrificed for their benefit.

Heroine is not the right description. Hinata is the main character but not a heroine. You're right: Hinata is simply a damsel in distress, and several NH fans who have seen the movie admit this flaw in the movie. I mean come on, Naruto is carrying Hinata back to the real world in kittening bridal style.

 

EDIT: But Hinata does quench out Hanabi's eyes from Toneri. That scene might look badass or completely gross.

But here is the thing, there has to be a legit reason as to why the ending should change. In this case it is good because the ending was very rushed and bad. BUT if the anime were to change it shouldn't just be because of pairings. Definitely other things that should have been addressed, characters missing, characters personalities and certain development should be fixed aswell. I just think complaining on that site makes the NS fans look bad and gives Naruhina more reason to call us 'salty' ughh that word. Lmao. Anyways at this point kishi and SP have butchered narusaku. A majority didn't like the last but you do have the rest of the fans who did like it so unless 'The last' tanks financially, which it didn't, I doubt they will reconsider or change anything. They don't care about shipping fandoms. Only about popular characters and what brings them money. If Kishimoto were to change the ending he would lose all credibility as a writer and be hated by the whole Naruto fanbase. He's already disliked by a portion of the fans, he can't risk making anymore mistakes. I would love if they made an alternate ending as much as everyone else, but at this point....you guys actually think its worth it, after all that has happened?

Here's a legit reason to change the ending. It completely destroys everything. It destroys the messages, the bonds, the plot, the sub-plots, the characters, it changes genre, it's poorly put together, it makes no sense, it's insulting to everyone that followed it, it doesn't resolve anything, everything that was supposed to be addressed is just forgotten, characters go 180 on themselves for no reason and the list goes on and on.

 

Oh and about Kishi losing credibility and he will be hated by the whole Naruto fanbase. Guess what he already lost that credibility and he's already hated because with this thing he did. He just told us that the events in the manga that he wrote are not completely irrelevant and don't matter actually they never even existed. The manga was just us imagining things. The movie is the real story, everything before that meaningless.

I don't care that he will make NH happen in the end of the anime. It does not lesson the pain I have felt these past few weeks thanks to Kishi. At this point, it is too late for Kishi to change anything; he literally commited a sin by ignoring the NS bond and allowing something such as the Last to even be animated.

Creating an alternative ending in the anime is cheap and makes Kishi look like a coward in my eyes. What I want is a J.K.Rowling miracle in which he stands up, admits that NH was pure fanservice, and that NS was the pairing he had really had in mind.
